hi guys - back again this time i'm going to try paper testing my strategy with an imaginary £1000 starting pot to see how it goes my strategy is basically selecting draws in games where the bookie offers at least evens for both teams in football i'm selecting 20 fixtures and only need a 35% success rate (about 7 out of 20) to achieve profit however on days when 20 fixtures meeting the above criteria are not available then i will select what i can placing a 20th of my pot on each game and if i hit profit that day i restart the next day with a new pot and if i don't hit profit then i simply carry onto the next day and thereafter until a profit is achieved or i've selected 20 fixtures tried this over last couple of days and noticed a remarkable strike rate of around 50% so figured its worth a try ok here goes for my selections for friday 4th march 2011 ROUND 1 GAMES 1-20 START POT £1000 BET £50 ON EACH FIXTURE Italy Serie A - Lecce vs AS Roma 3.40 Copa Libertadores - Caracas vs Union Espanola 3.20 Singapore S-League - Tanjong Pagar vs Woodlands Wellin 3.20 Ukraine Premier League - Met Zaporizhzhya vs Illichivets 3.00 Croatia 1. Re: new paper test strategy Hi, Amberarmy... I did a quick back-test using your system on the English Premiership since 2002/03 (Bet365 odds). The result was a negaative yield of about 4%. The problem is that 40% of games met your criteria... which is way above the actual percentage of draws. I think you may have to narrow down your selection criteria... but good luck anyway :ok
