Update from Betfair (EW Betting Multiples)

Recommended Posts

We are pleased to announce the addition of the option to bet each way in our horse racing multiples product. A Betfair each way multiples bet is a bet for selections in the multiple to win and a bet on the same selections to place. For example a £2 each way double represents a £2 bet on both selections to win and a £2 bet on both selections to be placed, with a total stake for the bet of £4. The option will appear as a checkbox in the multiples betting slip for each of the multiples types available for the number of selections made. Having entered the stake for your multiple simply select the checkbox and then confirm your bet. Multiples bets placed on Horse Racing markets are settled at a price based on the Betfair SP of each selection, reduced by a 5% margin. Commission is not charged on any winnings from your Horse Racing multiples bets. -The place part of each way multiples bets will be settled at a price based on the place market Betfair SPs of each selection. -The number of places for each race in an each way multiples bet are the same as those for the ‘Place’ market on the Exchange. The place terms for each race are clearly displayed below the meeting, date and race start time. - Each Way multiples betting is not available when more than one selection is made in any race, i.e. the each way option is not available when selections are dutched. - Each way multiples betting is only available if all selections are in races that support place only betting. To access horse racing multiples select ‘Multiples’ in the menu bar below the Horse Racing tab on the site, or alternatively select ‘Multiples’ in the left hand menu. Please note we only plan to have the each way option displayed for Catterick on Monday 28th February. Thereafter we plan to have each way betting available for all GB and Ireland meetings starting with Ffos Las, Leicester and Lingfield on Tuesday 1st March. Thought this news might have been off interest to someone.
