2:25 Leopardstown - Mr Clyde A rare look, for me, at the Irish cards. Mr Clyde looks very good value, in my opinion. He has faced several of the other 27 runners and finished superior to them, so if he can continue his form during only his 9th time over the jumps (also a distance winner) he may be able to snatch a place. 50/1 bet365 (BOG) - ew

Re: BBOTD 9/1/11 1.50 Leopardstown Follow the plan 18/1 Bet 365 0.5pt E/W Like the chance of this one today if his jumping holds up. This horse is a bit of a risky proposistion as he has unseated in his last 2 races but has shown an extremely high level of form on occasions. He already has a grade 1 win to his name which came over 2 years ago at this course but the most notable piece of form me came at Punchestown April last year. Only beaten 11 lengths by Planet of Sound into 7th and getting close to the likes of Tranquil Sea, Denman and Cooldine represents high class form. The horse was given a break and returned in November where he was sent off joint second fav in a race won by Glencove Marina but only made it to the 8th fence. Next time out didn’t even make it past the first fence. So jumping definitely is an issue with this horse but that single piece of form behind Planet of Sound must give this horse a good chance if standing up. Going and trip will be fine so fingers crossed he can put in a good round of jumping. If doing so 18/1 could be a massive price for this horse.
