Will tie up the end of my 09/10 thread and start this new one for the new year. This thread will include all my All Weather selections for 2011. I have been a bit busy lately so there may not be as many selections this year compared to other years but I will do my best to make this as active as possible. First bet: 17:10 Wolverhampton Open enough contest this one and I fancy a big priced horse in this race. Duneen Dream tends to run well at Wolverhampton, especially over todays trip of nine furlongs which he has won over twice previously. Won here on his fourth start in January 2008 off a mark of 53 and he followed that race up with a 3rd placed effort off a mark of 58. His other three efforts over course and distance in 2008 and 2009 wasn't the best but he returned over the course and distance in March 2010 with a 2nd place behind Querido off a mark of 45. Querido seems a distance yardstick considering he has won over the course and distance 4 times himself. Duneem Dream followed that course and distance run up with a win off a mark of 46. Runs off 49 tonight back on the AW having only had two runs since, both on turf and up in trip. David Probert has won on the horse previously and I believe he is definitely overpriced if you take his course and distance form into account. Re: Simmy's AW selection 2011 14:20 Southwell I feel its worth opposing the favourite here with the Dandy Nicholls trained Je Suis Unrockstar who ran a very good 3rd over this course and distance on New Year's Eve. He finished just 1 and a half lengths behind stablemate Evens Stevens who racked up his fourth win in a row that day. The second place in that race is also a fairly good yardstick having won over the course and distance three tims previously. Has won twice at the course over 5 furlongs which is the distance he has done the majority of his running over. Has posted good efforts when running over today's course and distance though with his two other runs ending in 4th and 2nd placed finishes. 1pt win Je Suis Unrockstar @ 4/1 (Bet365 - BOG)
