3-G peskie Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 STOKE CIRCUS CASINO, are holding their quarterly £150 + £15 reg fee on sunday February 6th 2011 with £4000 ADDED. Every 3 months this comp is held and attracts a cracking field of players from all over the uk. The last game back in November saw a field of 291 runners take to the tables for what was a fantastic days poker for everyone, with Phil Roberts emerging victorious taking an outstanding £9770 1st prize, also Phil took and £1300 package to the Genting Palm Beech Big game held in London, and a seat to the Genting poker players championships that was held at Star City at the end of November. Once again Genting are ADDING £4000 to the prizefund, and this is expected to be another maxed out field of 300 players, with poker players already starting to reg for the event. Casino bosses have said that this will be capped at 300 runners , after the 300 mark is reached , you will have to take a chance on being an alternate. Speaking to GM Val Dawn this week, she has very kindly put on a free pre tournament buffet lunch that will be served from 12.00 noon for all the peole who are regd for the comp. Also thrown into the equation you have AWOP doing a live feed for Genting TV, with all the action being live fed from the start to the finish, with player interviews , live commentary and a bit of banter along the way. The tournament will commence at 2pm, 10,000 chips starting stack, blinds will start at 25-50, so there is plenty of play in this one. If the previous tournaments are anything to go by, there should be almost £50k in the pot again to play for, and for a £150 buy in that has to be excellent value for money. Advisable to pre reg so to avoid disappointment, there will be some noteables in the house on the day, we are still waiting final confirmation on the full list, and it will be posted as and when it is finalised Come along and join in this epic event, or sit at home and watch friends and relatives on Genting tv. Usually £30-£40 with breakfast. Also if you trying to satelite, there are now more in the lobby, Every thursday at 8.00pm the very popular £5+£5+£5 's are up, £5 buy in , 1 re-buy for £5 and the add on £5. 2 seats gtd I personally prefer these as i know that all the players are in the same boat as opposed to unlimitd re-buys where the bigger pockets have more say. 3G Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It will start at 2pm on the sunday, and go on until the early hrs of the bank holiday monday. ( so no-one will be late for work). Peskie.
