silverun
One of my poker accounts sent me a rather stuffily phrased email to say that I had not used my account for 6 months they would stop it and charge me $7.5 for administration unless I put some monet there way by means of a tournament entry or a raked hand. Why not just leave the accountas it is then there is no administration. Now I have not played much poker at all recently and one of the other sites took a different tack and offered me a welcome back tournament. At least the 'big house' did warn me that they were going to take money out but I now understand that some don't even tell you! staffy
Re: Not active charge Quite common apparantly. Which sites are you refering to?
teaulc
Re: Not active charge sounds just like PartyPoker, although Virgin did try the same tact
dazdiamonds
Re: Not active charge Received a pretty annoying email from intercasino today threatening me with a dormancy fee because i have been inactive for some time. Thing is i have never played on there casino games, i only play poker there and have played as recent as last week. As i'm writing this i just received another email from interpoker informing me of my vip status for february. Just tried to withdraw but apparently my funds are in play so i can't:wall. Just thought i'd warn you all as some of you might not of played on there for a while. Think it might be an idea to have a thread somewhere about these sites that charge us for being inactive for a certain period of time. Funny thing is i make sure i play at least a couple of hands every month on all the sites i have.
dazdiamonds
Re: Not active charge Just noticed i received an email back from them within 5 minutes of contacting them and apparently the email was sent to me by mistake:unsure. But apparently you could get a dormancy fee if you have not played for 90 days though. Gotta say this wound me right up earlier, but the quick response from support is pretty impressive. avongirl
Re: Not active charge I got one today too. I set the account up to play the PP Grand Prix and haven't paid to play there since that finished, although I did play an invitation freeroll a couple of weeks ago (obviously this doesn't count.) I did try to withdraw a couple of months ago but it wouldn't let me. Support said I needed to deposit (I think I won on the new player freeroll, so didn't need to deposit then) but I never got round to doing it. :spank Off to play an STT. :ok Edit: won it. ;)

Just make sure you play/win another one within the next few months.
avongirl
Re: Not active charge Got myself organised finally. Deposited and then did an immediate withdrawal so I've got less than £10 in there now anyway. :ok Onto the next account now...
