The Demise of Magoo

It is with a heavy heart that I have to report the passing of Mister Magoo. Magoo, who was a young 187, finally succombed to the debilitating illness known as Unplaceditis when his three selections today could only finish last, last and last. Magoo is survived by his wife, Martha and his three sons, Muggins, Muppet and Methuselah, together with his 73 year old miniature fox terrier, Jibberer. A memorial service will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse tomorrow at mid-day, where most of his selections fell at the last jump when leading by 50 lengths. Magoos final wish was that flowers not be sent but instead, a fifty pence donation be given by each mourner to his favourite football club, Chelsea, who once again disappointed today with another miserable, spineless draw.
