I am not going to run this as a betting thread but more as a notebook, putting up horses that have caught my eye and should be worth following next time out or over the entire season. I will eventually do a write up on each of the horses listed and mention any ante post bets I might have placed. Horses noted so far are: Clerk's Choice Ballabriggs Sizing Europe Master Minded Chicago Grey Ballybriggan Planet Of Sound Clerk's Choice was mighty impressive when winning at Cheltenham last time out in a decnet class 2 race by 21 lengths. That might not quite be group form but I've backed it each way at 33-1 for the Champion Hurdle due to the course form. Might not even go for that race but runs at Haydock on Saturday so we'll have a better idea of its class and potential then. Chicago Grey looked like a surefire winner on Saturday until it came tumbling down but that performance and the way it travelled was noted by many and it's one to watch from now on. Ballybriggan finished the race well and had to switch its path in the last furlong or so, probably would not have won the race anyway but looked like a fine enough performance and I'm intertested in this one again next time out and onwards through the season.

Re: Mowgli77's Jumps Notebook 2010-2011 Best of luck with this Mowgli. Your race reading powers are usually very good so it should do well. :ok What is your take on Master Minded Mowgli? I've backed Master Minded for the Queen Mum. Hope the wind op does the job. Must say though, bit mystified as to why he's starting off at 2m3f. Surprised Tatiano took his place at the weekend. Last years top novice doesn't seem to be at best on a soft surface, where as MM is. He's quite high in the betting for the Ryanair too, which is a slight worry. May not be showing quite the pace he used to at home. Think they were a bit worried Ghizao was going so well in gallops with him, though that novice's win may have gone some way to put their minds at rest.
