EARTH MAGIC 1.10 Hexham. Place Lay. Has the form in the book to win this with ease, but can he be trusted to deliver? Well, the 2/5 currently on offer would be like a game of Russian roulette in my opinion and the value is to oppose. The opposition isn't strong and he does deserve to be the favourite, but goes back hurdling today and still needs to prove he fancies the game. The place odds are around the 1/6 mark to finish 1st or 2nd and I think it's worth laying that and hoping he's still out of love with the game. Could just as easily pull up, down tools or win by 50 lengths. I'll take the very small risk that he fails to deliver.
