3.35 Chepstow Captain Chris looked something a little special last year winning 3 novice hurdle events in superb style, toprated in this field by several pounds so on OR has a good chance even off top weight. Will enjoy the good ground and should relish the step up in trip which he looks as though he could easily stay. 1pt win Captain Chris 11/8 sj

Re: Best bet of the day 23rd Oct 2.55 Docaster Titus Mills is held in very high regard by the Meehan yard and I think he is overpriced here. A number of subsequent winners behind him in his last two wins and he has a decent draw here. The booking of Fallon is significant and although he needs to improve I think this distance will bring that. 1 Pt win 7/1 StanJames
