From the last 1659 premiership games, 483 (29.1%) had more goals in the first half. 715 games (43.1%) had more goals in the second half. 461 games (27.8%) had the same number of goals in each half. 29.1% equates to odds of 3.43. If the standard odds are 3.25, then I think that you are unlikely to make money in the long run with this strategy as you have no edge.:(
