Another good effort lto, when chasing home Phillip Hobbs and Nick Williams improvers over shorter than ideal trip. Back to 3 miles today will suit and when on form he is capable of winning off this mark. Did it twice last year in October. Not entirely sure the depth of this race is any good and it could easily go to the best stayer in the end. I think Winsley Hill has the stamina and the form to win today. Hurdling form gives him every chance, but chase form leaves him a bit to find with the best of his rivals today. The trip and ground's fine, but with him being a little quirky and always the chance he'll down tools, I'd always be opposing at around the 4/7 mark in the place market.
