Emma Lavelle Stable Visit

Recommended Posts

Just come back from a stable visit to Emma Lavelle. Unfortunately, just before I got there a lad was thrown and suffered a suspected broken leg. Makes you realise what dangers the staff face. Understandably Emma did not have as much time as usual with us. Did find a few things out. Crack Away Jack is steadily on the mend but wants to get on with things. To keep him in second gear they ride him out at 6AM, in the dark can't see one foot in front of the other. Jack probably won't be ready to run until the new year. Emma believes Blues And Twos is a nice bumper horse in the making and should go close this afternoon (5:45 Chepstow). 12/1 at current prices, looks worth a small each way bet. More to come.

Re: Emma Lavelle Stable Visit Another one on the sidelines, out until Jan is Kangaroo Court. But might be one for the big Cheltenham handicaps at around 2 1/2 miles later on in the season. The one they are really looking forward to this year is Court In Motion. Half brother to Bensalem. Unlucky last year, had a race at his mercy when stumbled just after the last hurdle. Also excellent second to a good Henderson novice Peveril. Been kept for another novice hurdle season. "Could go to the top". Looked in good order and is one to follow. More to come.
