3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value i know that there are online satelites on Circus and Genting every couple of days or so if that helps.
3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value No specific live sats for this event are scheduled at the moment, however i will attending the venue tonight and will try to arrange a night when they will do these, i cant promise anything i can only ask. It makes sense to me to hold live sats as bums on seats has to be a good thing.

3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value Im guessing you work for Genting 3-G? :welcome anyway actually no, i dont work for genting or circus, people ask me to push their games and i try to, I did the commentary on the anniversary cup for them and thought it was brilliant,This game is a mirror image of that, so i decided to push it along. And i will be commentating on this event live, so makes sense to do it.

(well 4 in that list) :) I'll more than likely be there, the last one a couple of months back was a great comp :ok lol, i think people like to play against the pro's, it gives them a boost to say that they played against Jackson or Marenholz, its like fishing, you can catch a monster if you are lucky or just a few small fish. 3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value i did play on the f/t ( ecpokertour malta) against sorrel mizzi last year , that was fun, more over when we met up again in Barcelona this year, but nothing impresses people really, its just envy i guess. And I have played against them and they are nowhere near as good fun as Morlspin at the tables ;)

And I have played against them and they are nowhere near as good fun as Morlspin at the tables ;) totally agree that it makes no sense at all ,we have a player in stoke called SHAG ( shaun whiting) and if he is in the hse, he has the table in stitches and his mate Bernie is just as mad. Much rather be on the table with a couple of nutters than a couple of pro's, reason being i can have a laugh with the lads without feeling like im under pressure, or every play i make being scrutinised. Poker to me as always been something of a social fun thing when i play, i do play a better in bigger games, but dont seem to enjoy it as much as i feel under pressure. 3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value People have been asking me where is best to stay ie hotels. The closest and the best one is the Quality Hotel, Etruria Rd , Stoke On Trent Staffs. Tell them that you are playing the comp at the Circus and you will get a cheaper rate as the Casino has a deal with the hotel. It is literally over the rd from the Circus, and does a cracking breakfast.

3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value Just to clarify to everyone, THIS COMP IS ON SUNDAY THE 7TH NOVEMBER, THATS SUNDAY THE 7TH OF NOVEMBER. Some people seem to be confused by the date, but we can confirm that this is correct. I think the clue to when it is, is in the title of the thread. STOKE £150 £4,000 ADDED 7TH NOVEMBER. I hope this clears up any confusion.
3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value Thanks to the Satelite last night held in the Circus Casino in Blackpool, 6 more names can be added to the ever increasing list for this gig. Speaking to the staff at the Stoke Casino last night ,it would appear that we have almost 100 pre-regd for the tournament. It WILL be capped at around 300 and with 10 days to go, you can be sure of a big field , and a busy day. 3-G.

3-G peskie
Re: £150 freezeout with £5300 added value It didnt go anywhere , there is £4,000 added prize money, and £1300 by way of a seat into the Palm Beach £1,000 tournament in London with £300 for expenses. The winner of the comp will have the added £1300 prize, and the £4000 will be added to the prize fund. So thats how the £5300 is made up, sorry for the confusion. 3-G.
