Poker for charity?

Hi guys, looking at ways to raise some sponsorship/raise funds. I was fortunate enough to get selected for the staking in Blackpool and will be giving 25% of any winnings to the RNLI. I am aiming to raise £50,000 for the RNLI by the end of 2010 to support them with their fleet replacement goals. Either get in touch if you can help/for more information or visit .http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/stormchasers to donate to a worthy cause. In November I am arranging to complete a 10,000ft tandem skydive. All sponsorship would be gratefully received. The jump will be on the 20th November I am not really asking for donations (although nice) just wanted ideas of how i could involve poker? Any ideas welcome http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=stormchasers&isTeam=true http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=158162147538357#!/group.php?gid=158162147538357&v=info

Re: Poker for charity? Final update Our teamm pissed it! The Strom Chasers Good Morning, On behalf of the Barclays Sea Eagles, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your participation in the Barclays Lifeboat Challenge over the past several months. We hope that you have gained an appreciation for the RNLI while developing your managerial skills and your network both within Barclays and within your local communities. Your hard work and innovative fundraising ideas have raised exactly £14,000 during this challenge – a number that you should all be very proud of! I can now officially announce that the STORM CHASERS have won the competition with a £8,300 raised for the RNLI. Congratulations to the entire team and we hope you enjoy your prize of an exclusive tour of the Mercedes PETRONAS Formula 1 factory (I will contact you directly about claiming the prize). Thanks again to everyone that participated in the Challenge and if you have a few minutes to spare, please reply with any feedback. Given the success of this challenge, we are currently exploring options of delivering the competition again during 2011 and we would appreciate any feedback you have to improve it. Many thanks, Barclays Sea Eagles Thanks to everyone who sponsored me on PL
