Re: WPT Magazine - Win $10,000 Bodog Sponsorship

Bodog is Top Dog One of the best poker sites in the world has just gotten even better with a promotion that we think you’ll find the dog’s.... you get the idea. Over the coming months, in association with leading online poker site Bodog, we’ll be brining you a fantastic promotion where you can win a $10,000 sponsorship package. Our “Top Dog” promotion will be available exclusively on Bodog poker for WPT Poker Magazine readers. Dedication and consistency is the name of the game and you’ll need to perform well to rack-up the points if you want to be one of the lucky 60 to qualify for our grand final and the $10,000 prize. There are a limited number places up for grabs in our final, so you’re going to need to bring your A game to the table if you want to walk away with the big one. Bundled in with the $10K sponsorship package are a plethora of other great prizes, details of which will be released next month. For the time being, here is a glimpse of what you can expect over the next few months: • Accrue leaderboard points in one of three monthly tournaments split into three categories with graduating buy-in fees - $1 (Low), $3 (Medium) and $5 (High). • Ten qualifiers from each buy-in level will earn a place in the competition’s final tournament. • Guaranteed prizepools and individual prizes for each tournament, as well as a chance to compete for the grand prize. • Further prizes in our special bounty tournaments with WPT Poker Magazine writers and Bodog professionals. • Exclusive loyalty rewards for those showing heart and commitment throughout the series. • Last chance tournament offering 30 places in the “Top Dog” grand final. • The chance to be featured in future issues of WPT Poker Magazine This series promises to be a superb event and with so much money up for grabs it’s certainly one you won’t want to miss. In the meantime, while you’re busy watching that space and holding your breath in anticipation of our “Top Dog” series, here are some top reasons to get into the action early and take advantage of Bodog Poker’s slick software and outstanding offers. Top Tournaments: Large guarantees and small fields is always a winning combination when it comes to tournament poker, which is why Bodog’s weekly $100K Guarantee is practically unmissable. The tournament kicks off every Sunday and with an entry fee of $150 it’s cheaper than many major online tournaments making it excellent value. If your bankroll doesn’t quite stretch that far then there are plenty of satellites starting at $1 and running throughout the week. If putting a large portion your bankroll at risk to play a tournament isn’t your style, then Bodog also offer a plethora of freerolls for you to test your mettle in and earn a few bucks in the process. King of the Felt: Place in the top three of any designated sit-and-go on Bodog and you’ll be automatically entered into a weekly prize draw where you can be crowned King of the Felt. The more you win the more tickets you receive and the greater chance you have of imposing your rule over the site. However, previous kings don’t simply abdicate and give up their throne to every chancer who thinks they can rule the site, so you’ll need to defeat the reigning champion to get to the top and claim a $1000 bounty. Survive at the top for 5 weeks and another bundle of cash will come your way and make it a 10 week streak and a shot at a WSOP seat will be yours. Points to Cash: Earning player points for your devotion to Bodog not only lets you purchase some exclusive gifts from the site’s shop, but can help boost your bankroll. Converting VIP points to cash is one of Bodog’s most lucrative promotions and allows players to get some reward for their countless hours grinding at the table. For every 100 points you earn you can claim $1.00 from Bodog and with the ability to convert up to 25,000 points each day, it’s certainly worth rolling up your sleeves and putting in some serious hours at the felt.

Re: WPT Magazine - Win $10,000 Bodog Sponsorship

i assume also Jon' date='that there are no restrictions to play all 3 leagues? and if you get top 10 in each league that will restrict the Final places?[/quote'] No, you can play in all leagues, but if you were to Top 10 in more than one division, the highest buy-in would be taken into account (eg, if you placed in the $5 and $3 divisions, you'd qualify thro the $5 division and 11th place would be awarded in the lower division). Hope that makes sense! :D

Re: WPT Magazine - Win $10,000 Bodog Sponsorship Looks good, just been reading about it as the mag dropped though letterbox this morning. Problem with the OTHER promotion though - the CBMPT freeroll on 19th - says existing account holders have to email in for a token, but the email address given doesnt work, got a delivery failure message 64.18.7.13 does not like recipient. Remote host said: 550 5.1.1 User unknown Is this because you have already given out all available tokens for existing account holders, or has the address not been set up yet?

Re: WPT Magazine - Win $10,000 Bodog Sponsorship first event is this Sunday evening. Staggered buy-ins / entry times so you can play all three events if you want. Still only a few runners in this, so some great value. Remember the individual legs have money added, so even if you're leaving it till the last-chance qualifier to play there's money to be had now.

Re: WPT Magazine - Win $10,000 Bodog Sponsorship

Does the software stop non-europeans from registering ? Not sure either San Jose or Locust (and others) are in Europe ? 3 of last 8 in $3 game look like USA. If it doesn't ........... this will be my only week
Taken out in 7th (so out of the money, even though I am 4th placed European) by the boy from Locust so feel like quitting here and now even if they are stopped from registering next month. (when I left my $5 table in 30th, four of the seven left there were American) :@

Re: WPT Magazine - Win $10,000 Bodog Sponsorship for the attention of Swampster:: i hope you are going to disqualify the americans and give the points to the Europeans as printed in the magazine :ok below is a table of the $3 league and troutbum764 and boswan are deffo from the USA, they got in by googling the password and knew nothing about the t&c`s. as for halfjappy he was from Pasco which is in Washington state. i am sure Bodog can confirm all this and tbh isnt too much work for yourselves and Bodog to give the points to those that should have it.. i appreciate its too late with regards to the money, frustrating as it is unless Bodog want to do something about that as well :hope dfi9_b63_u92am.jpg apart from that, enjoyed the games :ok
