4.05 Lingfield Spanish Acclaim could easily bounce back after never travelling very well in a misrable race in a storm, prior to that he was improving at a good rate and far too soon to forget about, has form on AW to suggest he can handle it and remains only 3lb higher in handicap for last win and that form is working out well in places with several good efforts since behind! Although I feel he ill have to go some way to beat the more battle hardy Hand Painted who does need to prove he can handle the AW surface but ran an eye catching race last time out when running strongly to finish 2nd off this mark on turf and if repeating that effort could be hard to beat! 0.75pt win Hand Painted 0.25pt win Spanish Acclaim 4.50 Newmarket Reve De Nuit is a frustrating sort he clearly has plenty of ability but needs a really truly run race to be at his best and presented at the right time to go win his races Murtagh is an extremely eye catching booking for a reasonably small yard. Stepped up to a mile for the next outing and duly obliged at todays course. Ran quite freely last time but there looks to be plenty of improvement to come and could get Fankie off to a flyer.
