Strikes me as some value if the tipped up Pablo bottom weight doesn't go through with his effort.
There is a non runner in stall 1 to add to the intrigue too.
All of this I believe may play into the hands of this runner who won this race from this stall (3) two years ago. Runs here off a lower mark and is very likely to reish these conditions more than most.
If it comes off great if not, we go again. Interestingly recon mission win in soft heavy in his two year old days in Ireland.
If you've read this far, well done and also have a win saver on David Evans' Lihou who ran an excellent race at HQ last week but does seem better on the all weather.  The Ascot winning trainer is one of my favourites. He's a maverick and a free thinker and definitely punter friendly.
He also seems to understand applying physics principles in racing too, as I've noticed many times.
