    Re: Snooker - Irish Professional Championship I noticed VC were up with this on Thursday and at that time they had Mark Allen up at 12/1. This guy is expected to have a bright future ahead of him, and looking at the latest qualifying results he won his group in qualifying for the Grand Prix. I am pretty sure that those matches are in draw order, and therefore it should be a pretty clear run for him to the semis to face Ken Doherty. I cannot find out what the matches are played over, but can't imagine they are gonna be much more than best of 9 which should be to Allen's advantage. So over a short distance i reckon Allen is worth a small bet at 7/1 - wouldn;t bother with the e/w

    Re: MTT Advice needed please. I don't play many MTT's the Titan Freeroll last week was the first one in a while. In MTTs I have a couple of major leaks that I am trying to plug (but on last night's evidence I need a bigger cork!): 1 I win a decent pot and think I have a few chips to play with, so I end up playing pots that I have no right to enter in the first place. 2 Just limping in early/mid position hoping to see a cheap flop, only to see it raised and end up folding.

    Just made a post this morning, and noticed my post count is now 1440, but over the weekend i am pretty sure it was up to 1490 odd cos i was thinking it would soon be making my 1500th (not much of a milestone here anymore granted!). Any ideas why i have lost 50 odd from the count, and has anyone else had similar? Thanks 2DH

    Re: **Titan Freeroll and League Series** All this about 'making the crashers sit out' I am pretty sure that was not the case. BigPumpkin (or whatever his name is) has posted to say that he sat out himself. I was on the same table as this guy and another crasher and whilst BigP was sat out the other guy was still playing - so i reckon things have got confused somewhere along the line - although i do applaud the efforts Titan appear to be making on our behalf. I regularly play in a another forum freeroll - they advertise how much the freeroll is worth in total but make payments to winners manually after the event, whilst this does not stop non-qualifiers from entering (and possibly taking legitimate players out) it does ensurethat they don't get paid for teir trouble.

First PL game I have played since the last Poker.co.uk one, and got to say the Monday nights in between have not been the same!!

    Re: Poker Player and Inside Edge Magazines no merge - nice one - had only this week renewed my subscription! I used to subscribe to both IE and PokerPlayer, but dropped the IE as I haven't got any interest in horses and i think its hard to produce a magazine that still has relevance to sports betting so far in advance of the events taking place.

    Re: boss media I was on that final table (not quite the shorty). As soon as the 6th man got busted the dealer button stayed where it was and no blinds were posted, but if you bet then it was taking into account the level of the blinds. Had earlier problems with pauses in play - the same as we had in our MTT on the Monday. As Alex says it was a forum freeroll so should be fairly straightforward to sort out, but could see it causing real problems in a tournament that was open to all comers with a buy in.
