    RB Leipzig vs Tottenham

The talk of coronavirus and the future of games being played across Europe continues to dominate conversations throughout the game but this second leg of the last 16 Champions League clash between German Bundesliga title challengers RB Leipzig and Premier League under-achievers Tottenham is scheduled to go ahead as planned tonight in an 8pm GMT kick-off at the Red Bull Arena.

RB Leipzig boast a 1-0 lead from the first leg after Timo Werner's decisive penalty. Scoring penalties is becoming a trend for Julian Nagelsmann's side with 4 of their last 5 goals in this competition coming from the spot. It will concern the German team that star striker Werner hasn't managed to hit the net at home in this competition in his last six outings. If Nagelsmann leads his team to victory here then he'll become the youngest ever manager at 32 years of age to guide his side through a Champions League knockout tie. The current holder of that record is Didier Deschamps who was 35 years old when he managed it with Monaco back in 2003/04.

Tottenham come into this game feeling like all the odds are against them. As if holding a 1-0 deficit heading into an away second leg wasn't bad enough there is also an injury list longer than Tottenham's wait for a trophy. Sorry, @thfc, that was uncalled for! :lol Anyway, the absentees had already included Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Juan Foyth, Moussa Sissoko, and Ben Davies. Jose Mourinho can now add new signing Steven Bergwijn to the sidelines. There is hope though. Spurs have only lost 1 of their 5 away Champions League matches in Germany. They have also been eliminated from 8 of their last 10 European knockout ties after losing the first leg. However, we all remember that Ajax semi-final last season.

I'm not convinced Tottenham are in the right place to turn this around. You get the feeling that football throws up some times when it's written in the stars for a player or a team to have their moment in the sun. It happened for Tottenham last season and I think it could happen for RB Leipzig this season. It was a mighty fine win in the first leg and I don't think Tottenham have enough about them to turn it around with so many big game players missing. I can maybe see Tottenham getting a draw and falling just short but realistically I think it makes sense to back a home win.

    Sassuolo-Empoli

Sassuolo will face Empoli in 26th game week of Seria A. These teams are neighborhood in tournament table – Sassuolo takes 8th place and their encounters are on 9th place. Despite the championship will last for a long time yet teams are not afraid of flying out. On the other hand, it will be surprise if they play in Eurocups. Teams supervised 5 games synchronously: three times drew and two times were defeated. Fans wait for wins and only one team will bring them happiness. Sassuolo tied in last two games: firstly was home match with Palermo and the next was away match with Chievo. Sassuolo players showed combinational football and controlled the ball more than their opponents in both matches. The game style of the team includes good attacking football and lots of distant shots. Attacking and defensive game “on the second floor” is big advantage of Sassuolo players. Berardi often sends ball to penalty area and Sansone has good dribbling. They are going to play in wings.

Empoli players were unexpectedly defeated by outsider of the league Frosinone in home match (1-2). Empoli will play away with neighborhood in tournament table in bad mood. Mário Rui is main left defender and he won’t play in upcoming game because of disqualification. Empoli tries to play with short passes and to create chances controlling the ball. Headers isn’t advantage of the team and strong opponent can make use of it.

Let’s look at upcoming match according to bets on corners. Bookies set Sassuolo as favorite on corners. The odds on win is 1.62, the odds on draw is 6.6 and the odds on guests’ win is 3.05 (at 1xBet). In my opinion bet on Sassuolo win will be covered and even -1.5 handicap looks attractive (for odds 1,95).

Sassuolo was defeated on corners two times in previous 10 matches. And the team got wins even with such top teams as Napoli and Roma. Sassuolo won on corners in 8 of 12 matches at home (in last 6 matches they won 5 times). The exception is game against Bologna in which Sassuolo lost. The side took more than 7 corners during 6 last home games.

Empoli’s stats on corners in away games are depressing: 3 wins and 10 defeats. They won only once in last 10 matches. The team delivers 3.85 corners on average away with negative average difference of 2 corners.

To conclude both teams will try to win in upcoming match to make fans happy. Home side knows about their powerful skill of heading the ball and will try to use it. Corners are great way to realize chances. Thus I think that bet on Sassuolo is reasonable. For those who like risk I offer to bet on hosts with minus handicap.

good job my man, keep it up.

Roma recorded its third straight win last week after dominating the match against the aggressive Sampdoria. The match ended with a 2-1 win and further strengthened its hold of the table’s 5th spot.

The capital club has been previously pegged for the title, but inconsistent performances have weakened their title campaign.

Nevertheless, the squad has been showing improvements now and this has reignited their hopes of returning to the league’s top three.

Roma of course, will be the dominant squad in this encounter and Carpi must work harder to secure the upper hand in this game.

    France Ligue2 Nimes vs Clermont

Nimes problems have been well documented and they sit bottom of Ligue 2 on 12 points, six from safety, however, if we gave them their eight point deduction back they would have five teams below them in the table and are clearly not the worst team in the division and recent form, especially in the goal scoring department has been good, with two goals in 5 of their last 6 starts and they have given themselves a chance of survival. They have some history of running into form at this time of year, in 2013-14 they looked in trouble at Christmas with only 15 points from 18 starts, but then collected the same number from the next eight (4-3-1) and last year, they went on a bit of a tear up with nine wins from 16 starts from November onwards which took them into the promotion race , before the match fixing claims stalled their run. The 29 points they collected in that sequence equates to 69 over a full season and that would have earned them second place and was the level they were playing at for three months and although this is not the same team, it does highlight their potential and they are not your typical bottom of the table team by any means.

Clermont are up to third, just four points off promotion pace and back on track after a mini blip with 13 goals and 13 points from five starts.

If we look at their last 30 L2 starts, they have collected an average 1.8 points and that is promotion form across almost a full season and they are clearly top 3 on merit. Two in form teams and both scoring for fun right now and each will surely be looking for three points and will be prepared to gamble to get them. Nimes will be without suspended central defender Anthony Marin.

We can expect this to really open up after the break with Nimes second halves averaging 1.7 goal per game and Clermont's 1.65 which are the 3rd and 4th highest in Ligue 2 .

Nîmes : Michel, Gallon - Cordoval, Briançon, Harek, Paquiez, Ripart, Azouni, Savanier, Cissokho, Mounié, Koura, Marin, Lacourt, Maoulida, Tchenkoua.

Clermont : Jeannin, Caillard - Agounon, Avinel, Bockhorni, Djellabi, Laporte, Martin - Boulaya, Ekobo, Espinosa, Genest, Hunou, Jobello - Diedhiou, Dugimont, Laborde

    I´m on Derby AHC-1 today.

Derby very strong this season and for me the best and deepest qualtiy squad of the League. Specially in Offensive, they are very strong and for me playing the most attractiv football of the league. Now they have buy Blackman from the todays opponent Reading. It was the best Scorer of Reading and for Reading it will be hard to replace him. Before Christmas came, Reading becoming with McDermott a new coach and want to start a positive streak to attack the PlayOff Places. But Reading didn´t start this streak. McDermott with 2-1-2 bilance scine he take over Reading.

Also Reading lost last 6 Away Games in a row and Derby are very strong at home.

Both with no new or important injuries. Take Stake´s a little bit down, because Reading played really well against the TopTeams of the League. Wining against M´borough, Ipswich and Burnley this season. But all of them was at Home. Away they lost against TopTeam Hull 1-2.

For me Derby now with New Signings Camara and Blackman are much better in offensive and this results in that no one (maybe Martin the only one) who has no safe Place in Attacking here. So for me:

    Derby AHC-1 @ 2.30 3/10 Pinnacle

Completely agree with You, but take in mind that in the last 6 matches between the two teams, when reading was the away team, they won 5 out of 6 matches! On the other side is the current form of Derby. In the last 5 maches 3W, 1D, 1L. I think  2:0 or 1:0 is reasonable end result.

    2. Bundesliga - Friday

    Nuernberg-Paderborn

Interessting Game tomorrow. Nuernberg with superb Form and only one Lose in last 10 League Games and this was in Leipzig, where is no shame to loose there.

Last Week Nuernberg are win with 4:0 in Hamburg agains St. Pauli and now looking on the 3rd Place in League. Think first two Places are reserved for Leipzig and Freiburg. Also Nuernberg with luxury Problem tomorrow. Forward-Player Burgstaller can play, but last game he didn´t play in Hamburg. And Coach Weiler maybe will no rotation after this big win last week. So let me now say. If Burgstaller plays or not, Nuernberg have very good options in attack and thats good, because Paderborn looks last games very weak in Defensive. No important missings on Nuernberg Side.

Paderborn under new Coach Effenberg only lost one Game in league his 6 Games, but only wining the first two Games. Last two Games i have watch them. They have to deserved a lose against Munich 1860, which ends in 4-4 draw. Defensive are very weak and Nuernberg are have the same type of attacking players like Munich 1860 has. 7Paderborn are missing tomorrow Bickel, Lopez and Vucinovic. But not importan players.

So Nuernberg are unbeaten at home this season by 4-4-0 and Paderborn away with no draws and 2-0-5. So for me here no Draw risk, also because specially Paderborn need Points. So this is i think so good for Nuernberg.

    For me:

    Nuernberg 1.96 5/10 Pinnacle

Good Job!!! Keep it up :)
