  2. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 20th I'd be worried about Benfica. On paper they should win and they showed in the 1st leg they are better than Tottenham. However I worry about a team that doesn't need to win and can just turn up with their 2nd XI (which they played a lot of in the 1st leg) and just go through the motions, leading to a 0-0 or 1-1 type of score line.

PSG v Marseille Surprisingly, in the last 5 matches played between these teams in Paris, Marseille won corners 3 times. A nd minimum 4 corners OM takes almost every match against PSG, so I am sure that it is worth to take this bet for 1.72 PSG lost 4 of the last 5 matches on the corners and in each of these 5 matches the rival always inflicted at least 4 corners) Marseille Corners, Over 3.5 at 1.72 Bet365
Great call on this and the 1st half cards bet on the Juve game!
  4. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th

I agree with a Rubin win in this but I would have thought Betis have all but given up on La Liga as they are so far adrift it is almost impossible they can get out of trouble in the league. Seems they would put there focus on the Europa League now instead. Hopefully that still won't be enough to get anything here!
    And so it proved!
  5. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th

Rubin Kazan v Real Bettis I am all over Rubin in this match. They managed to get an important draw on the road against Bettis. Bettis will travel to the COLD home of Rubin. The cold climate should be an advantage for the russians, i guess i dont need to explain why. Another fact is that Bettis kinda sucks in the role of travelers they lost their last 4/5 matches on the road. Bettis is rock bottom in La Liga, they won only 3 matches out of 25 rounds in their league. They know even if they qualify for the round of 16 in Europa League they dont have a chance to go further...their main focus is La Liga now. On the other hand Rubin Kazan is still on winter break and their main focus is Europa League. They played a few friendlies and they looked quite solid. Rubin had lost at home for the last time in this tournament against Atletico Madrid in february last year. So everything points towards a home win here and thats what i will bet on. I am also considering under 2.5 goals, but the main bet is Rubin to win. GL all! Possible lineups: Rubin Kazan: 1 Sergei Ryzhikov, 76 Roman Sharonov, 5 Solomon Kverkvelia, 4 Taras Burlak, 61 Gokdeniz Karadeniz, 10 Dmitri Torbinsky, 23 Roman Eremenko, 90 Yann M'Vila, 7 Vladislav Kulik, 15 Sergey Kisliak, 81 Ruslan Mukhametshin Real Betis: 1 Antonio Adán, 18 Alfred Ndiaye, 15 Damien Perquis, 12 Didac, 11 Juanfran, 14 Salva Sevilla, 21 Lorenzo Reyes, 8 Nono, 22 Cedric, 6 Leo Baptistao, 24 Rubén Castro Rubin Kazan to win @marathonbet odds 1.86 Stake 6.5/10

  6. Re: West Ham v Norwich City > Tuesday February 11th

Agree re score line. Hughton will set up with a defensive 4-2-3-1' date=' looking for a 0-0, hoping to nick a goal, as per every other away game and the same as the Man City. I can see West Ham scoring early first half and from there it will be very tough for Norwich to get back in the game, maybe getting picked off looking for the equaliser.[b'] Prediction 2-0 to West Ham.
:eek I don't know how this happened! But by the time West Ham scored Norwich should have been about 4/5-0 up!

.the premierships most clean sheets cannot lie! there problem ..scoring goals. but with c cole in some form ..k Nolan poaching and a couple of shrewd loan signings a victory to nil should suffice! 2-0' date=' 3-0[/quote'] Agree re score line. 8. Re: Norwich City v Manchester City > Saturday February 8th From a Norwich fan, I can't really see this being tight or low scoring at all. We were absolutely atrocious in our last home game against Newcastle, which we ended up drawing 0-0 (don't know how!!). We could and should have been 4/5-0 down after about 20 minutes and the general consensus was that it was our worst home performance since the infamous 1-7 home defeat against Colchester in League 1. Also, the majority of Norwich fans have been unhappy with Hughton for most of the season, even more so since the defeat at Cardiff last week. Atmospheres at Carrow Rd have been very poor and fans have been quick to turn on the manager/players due to the bad performances, as shown by the exchange between the fans and Snodgrass v Newcastle. As soon as Man City goal goes in i can see this being a cricket score!
