  1. Re: World Cup 2014 > Qualify from Group Betting

Got a 5 way accy for the groups. Straight forecast - Brazil Mexico 15/8 Straight forecast - Spain Chile 10/3 Straight forecast - France Switzerland 5/2 Win the group - Colombia 4/5 Win the group - Italy 13/8 Accy - 180/1 ish
I agree with all of those apart from Mexico. I think they are quite weak and I fancy them to finish bottom of the group.
  2. Re: World Cup 2014 > Top Goalscorer Outright Betting I fancy Fred and Higuain in this market. Fred should be a starter for Brazil and has been in decent form of late. Playing in this Brazil team you would hope he would get plenty of chances created for him. I appreciate Hulk and Neymar will probably be on free kick and penalty duty but I think Fred should bag a few at the spearhead of the attack. Similar story Higuain really. Messi and Aguero are expected to be the main men for Argentina but it doesnt always work out like this. Looking at the stats for the main attackers in this team, Higuain is just as, if not more, prolific for Argentina than the other 2, and Messi doesnt always produce his best for the national side. I think Higuains odds are too big and I will be having some. Fred 25/1 @ betfair Higuain 22/1 @ betfair

  3. Re: Fulham v Norwich City > Saturday April 12th Craven Cottage is a nightmare ground for us, recently we have lost 5-0 and 6-0 there, with a 2-1 loss thrown in during Lamberts reign. Our record against them at home isn't much better, losing 2-1 at home earlier in the season. Our latest game was an FA Cup replay at Craven Cottage earlier in the season which, you guessed it, we lost 3-0. I cannot really see us getting anything from the game, and I would take a point now! IMO I think the majority of Norwich fans would aswell. However one thing is for certain, IF we still had Hughton as manager, it would have been a loss, for definite. And despite popular belief in the media and amongst TV 'experts', Norwich HAD to sack Hughton to have any chance of staying up. I find it amazing how all these 'expert pundits' eg Carragher, Redknapp, Neville etc have dismissed the call of sacking Hughton and think they know better than the fans of the clubs themselves. Anyway I digress, back to the matter in hand, I think Norwich may score but I can't see Fulham not winning so Fulham and BTTS would be my initial bet/thought.

  4. Re: Poland > T-Mobile Ekstraklasa > 2013/14

34rhfex.jpg To resume after 28 and before 29 round. Legia, Lech, Wisla, Ruch, Pogon are sure to be in top 8. Gornik and Zawisza need 1 point in two last matches. Gornik have: Cracovia away and Lech at home Zawisza have: Legia away and Ruch at home. So for sure both this team will be in top 8. Gornik get min 1 point in Cracovia and Zawisza for sure get something against Ruch. Gornik must take min 1 point beacuse in last round they have match against Lech at home. There is in more spot lef in top 8. I dont belive in Korona and Cracovia. Lechia and Jagiellonia will fight for 8 place before playoffs. For my now two best bets for next round is on friday. Podbeskidzie - Slask I waiting for that ! For me Slask is much much better than Podbeskidzie. This is very poor season for Slask but for sure they will stay in the Ekstraklasa fr next season and to do this they need to win matches like that. Slask with new coach have 1 win, 3 draws and 1 lost (in last round) so time to next win against weaker team. Podbeskidzie will fight to avoind relegation but not with Slask but only with I think Piast. Slask Wroclaw away win 2.60 bwin 5/10 Cracovia - Gornik Zabrze Beacuse Gornik in last round will have match against Lech at home so they need to take min 1 point here to be sure place in top 8. This is team with similar plans as Ruch - any plans for europe. Only to be in top 8 and avoid relegation. So if they draw or win against Cracovia they will be in top 8. Cracovia, strange team, a lot of people says they play nice for eye but they dont have result. For me they dont have any quality. In last two round they take to draw with two poorest team in Ekstraklasa: Podbeskidzie 0-0 away and Widzew 1-1 at home. Cracovia coach Stawowy said that he leave club after this season so this is low motivaded team. Gornik Zabrze DC X2 1.53 betsafe 5/10 Lechia Gdansk - Zaglebie Lubin Risky. This is must win situation for Lechia they have amazing chance to take 8 place beacuse Jagiellonia will play away againt Lech. For sure Zaglebie will fight ! This is will be second match Lechia with new coach they win first against Piast 3-1. I will take Lechia here but small stake only. Lechia Gdansk home win 2.1 bwin 2/10 Widzew Lodz - Wisla Two worse teams in 2014 http://www.betexplorer.com/soccer/poland/ekstraklasa/widzew-lodz-wisla/QaspLyW8/ Wisla in last 5 matches have 0 win 2 draw and 3 lost. They only win 2 matches on the start 2014. Wisla need to win this match to secure 3rd place. As I wrote before start: Wisla for sure will be in top 8, maybe will fight for 3-5 places but thats all nothing more. Widzew is poorest team Ekstraklasa and for sure will be relegated to 1st Division. If its will be clear match Wisla for sure will win this one but only if will be clear and fair. Wisla away win 1.85 bwin 2/10 Lech Poznan - Jagiellonia Bialystok Rather Lech will win this one but odds are not good so not for me. Piast Gliwice - Pogon Szczecin no bet. Legia - Zawisza Bydgoszcz The same as Lech - Jagiellonia. No bet. Zawisza will be without one of the best offensive player - Maslowski its will be huge blow. In 2013 Legia lost against Zawisza in Bydgoszcz 3-1 after one of the worst matches in all year so they must do everything to win this and keep 10 points more than Lech. Ruch Chorzow - Korona Kielce Ruch had 7 wins in row and when they confirm be in top 8 they lost 3 next matches :D As I wrote Ruch end this season. Yes for sure they will win something more but I dont know where and when. :D In this match Korona needs more take here something. I will try Korona Kielce DC X2 1.56 betsafe 2/10
I see in this game highlighted that the home team have quite a few players out by the looks of things:- "Cracovia v Gornik Zabrze Cracovia: Krzysztof Danielewicz (21/1 m), Dawid Nowak (19/7 f, top scorer), Marcin Budzinski (13/2 m), Bartosz Zurek (0/0 m), Edgar Bernhardt (12/2 m), Saidi Ntibazonkiza (21/7 m, top scorer) Gornik: Adam Danch (6/0 d), Konrad Nowak (1/0 m), Mariusz Magiera (0/0 d), Blazej Augustyn (5/0 d), Aleksandr Shevelyukhin (12/0 d)" it looks as though some players may be important?! Does anyone have more info on these players etc.
  5. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > April 1st & 2nd I fancy Colchester to spring a surprise tonight at Peterborough. I know on the face of it, it looks like a formality and a straightforward home win, and Colchester are a fairly poor team. However, it could be hard to get back to the league after the euphoria of winning the JPT at Wembley at the weekend and there might be some sort of hangover tonight. Also, looking back at the last 3 seasons at the team who have won the JPT, they have followed it up with a midweek game in the league, each time losing. This might not mean much but there might be a feeling of 'after The Lord Mayors show' about tonight's game for Peterborough. League 1 is also an unpredictable league and odds on Colchester to win and DNB appeal. It's a risky bet but for small stakes could be worth a go. Colchester to win @ 6.2 Colchester DNB @ 4.5 both with betfair.

  6. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Saturday March 29th

Southend look another side worth getting all over this weekend... You can get evens :loon which is astonishing considering they face a Torquay side who are bottom of the league with one win in their last six aways, losing the other five. That one win was against us .... Which shows how bad we are right now! Southend haven't been fancied all season by the bookies and although they had a period where their form did dip alarmingly, they seem to have regained some lost momentum with a win and two draws in their last three. Crucially they haven't conceded in those three games. Barry Corr is still suspended but they have plenty of options now, especially since Jamar Loza signed on loan from Norwich.
Southend have also signed Jacob Murphy from us on loan this week, another very highly rated youngster at Norwich who plays on the wing.
  7. Re: Ligue 2 > March 28th - 31st Seems very strange that Troyes are just favourites for this. As mentioned they are nothing special away from home, whereas Auxerre have a decent home record, as well as the new manager. I thought they would be much shorter. It makes me wonder whether it's a too good to be true price.

  8. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 24th & 25th

1pt Jamar Loza To Score Anytime V Oxford Utd 5/2 Paddy Power Regular Southend Utd striker Barry Corr is again suspended for this, so this could open the door for new loanee striker Jamar Loza to start. He is on loan from my team, Norwich City, and he has been banging in the goals for the Under 21 team. He is very highly rated at Norwich and was part of the Under 18 Youth Cup winning team last season and should be able to score at will at League 2 level. It may be worth having a look at first goalscorer odds of 7-1 with Ladbrokes.
WIN. ?86th minute goal, I hope people got on.

  10. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 20th

I'd be worried about Benfica. On paper they should win and they showed in the 1st leg they are better than Tottenham. However I worry about a team that doesn't need to win and can just turn up with their 2nd XI (which they played a lot of in the 1st leg) and just go through the motions, leading to a 0-0 or 1-1 type of score line.
    This one even.
  11. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 20th

The players coming in are very good though showcasing Benfica's strength a depth. Salvio was alongside Matic as Benfica's best player last season before a long injury lay off and Sulejemani' date=' Amorim and Andre Gomes are also talented players, the latter being one of Portugal's top young prospects. Benfica have their first team defence playing and with Tottenham lacking quality going forward as well as a number of players out of position at the back Benfica should win. 1.6 looks too short now but the PP Enchanced Double of Benfica and Napoli at 7/2 looks great value considering Napoli's strength at home and how poor Porto have been this season especially away from home. Max Stake is low but every little helps. :ok[/quote'] Nuff said.
