  1. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 11-13 afc telford are in a mess, graham hyde has walked after saturdays latest defeat to macc, they didnt have a shot on target by all accounts and havent won for over 20 odd games since october, whoever takes the reins will be their fourth manager this season! so with gatesheads match tonight off they will be rested for wednesday and look value to take the points at 11-8

  2. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7

halifax had an easy stroll on tuesday so might be worth backing inrunning against harrogate who also played on tuesday, i will see how the games panning out and probably get involved at some stage
halifax 1-0 down after 5minutes,theyre now 7-4 inrunning tt 365 so i have had some interest in them, enough time for a comeback hopefully concord wingate also inrunning and wingate have taken an early lead
  3. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Mar 9 i will be looking at guiseley on the handicaps at droylsdon, although they arent too prolific they shoudl still be good enough to put three or four away imo chester at harrogate will be another for me especially with harrogate playing tuesday and crucially tonight, a tough game at halifax lastly gainsborough will be on my list away at oxford city, they are on a good run and i was very impressed when i saw them live on tv a few weeks ago at wrexham in the trophy semi final

  4. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7

    Very well done!!
thanks,i cant complain but bet365 were covering the game inrunning and had altrincham on the half time handicap minus 1 at 3-1!! i was just about to get a bet on online when the site crashed and by the time the game came back up on my screen it was 2-0 i did notice that the whole bet 365 site was out of action for a good half hour, wonder if it was due to the volume of users with the man u game? ps great tipping by addpea especially the 7-1 colwyn bay!
  5. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 4-7 i fancy bpa tonight and have taken them ht/ft and minus 1 against workington tonight they should be flying after whacking 7 past droylsden on saturday talking of droylsden i have taken altrincham to beat them by a few tomorrow night,a few improved performances admittedly until saturdays mauling by bradford and the goalscoring machine damian reeves must be licking his lips at the prospect of adding to his twenty seven goals alty minus 1, minus 2, and minus 3 at billy hills odds of 3-4, 15-8, and 9-2 respectively also some silly scores of 5-8 nil and 5-8 one at big odds!!

  6. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Mar 2-3 done a afc fylde and fc utd double afc fylde have a good squad paying good money at this level,i fancy them to make a late charge for the play offs fc utd are on fire, nine wins on the bounce i think,i think it will be between them and hednesford for the top spot with ferriby falling a little short in the run in,massive game between the two tomorrow

  7. Re: Capital One Cup Final > Swansea City v Bradford City > 24th Feb

Completely froze on the big stage, dreadful performance on the day and a feeling of disappointment. We played better than that against Arsenal and Villa. Wrong line up from the start and the players were like rabbits caught in the headlights. My thoughts are here: http://mowgli77.wordpress.com/2013/02/26/bradford-city-v-swansea-city-capital-one-cup-final-sunday-24th-february-2013/
yeah very disappointing for you bantam fans after all the previous heroics like you say you froze on the day but at the start of the season what price would you have given for a final appearance at wembley and knocking out wigan, watford, arsenal and the vile along the way? as a neutrel it was a breath of fresh air watching bradford defy the odds and l cant see another second division team ever reaching a major final at wembley again so when the dust has settled it will be seen as an amazing achievement
  8. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 18-20 ive taken woking at barrow who are on a poor run and conceding loads woking were on a decent run until saturdays doing by newport, the only concern is the distance woking will have spent on the coach (whoever came up with this for a midweek fixture?) woking have signed seb hines from afc dons and he starts in goal tonight woking 8-5 bet victor and woking minus1 10-3 bet365

  9. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 8-9 redditch must be a little rusty following all their recent postponements and according to their forum have let stuart hendrie and connor deards go amid rumours of budget cuts again. chesham seem to blow hot and cold but i see them winning this and am going to double it with luton who should be flying after beating wolves, the double pays out at 8-15 and 2-5

  10. Re: England > Boxing Day > BlueSQ Bet North & South Dec 26

No significant team news that I've seen. It's not one for me' date=' but it's hard to argue against this position. Droyslden actually did well at Boston for half an hour, leading and missing a pen but the collapse was swift, suggesting a side with very little spine, and there is generally a downbeat feel to things there. Chester have been a touch scratchy in recent games but have found the extra gear when it matters. Even factoring those things it's hard to see anything other than a big win.[/quote'] any ideas why droyslden are so poor now ships/addpea? dave pace is still there and they used to punch well above their weight probably due to his backing and budget has he lost interest or has the money dried up?
  11. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 22-23

That's the one! Been at Lewes this season' date=' and was their leading scorer until he departed in the recent budget cull. I, too, saw him in his Hemel pomp and he was unplayable, but it didn't really work out at Barnet and he's been doing the rounds ever since. He may have lost an edge of pace but he's looked pretty committed this season. I'm sure he'll do a job at Wingate. They have a good set of forwards there with Leon Smith and Murat Karagul (who was superb last season) as well as Thomas but they look a work in progress.[/quote'] thanks ships, was definately top class the day i saw him, shame he never really kicked on then
  12. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 22-23

Buxton are a good shout, BG, although to be fair to Whitby I think they did okay at Rushall and they look rather stronger at the moment than at any time this season. Even so, they are not in Buxton's league, and though Buxton will certainly miss Kieran Lugsden and Lee Morris they have a greater depth or resources than Whitby. 13/10 is too high and I've also had a nibble. Wingate & Finchley, in theory, are much stronger than Carshalton, with the likes of Wayne O'Sullivan, Andre Scarlett and Anthony Thomas (who they can afford and Lewes can't) in the ranks these days. But new boss Gary Meakin isn't yet covering himself in glory - one point from a possible 18. And even though Carshalton are in even worse form, I can't see an awful lot in the prices in a match with a lot riding on it, although 6/4 W&F is further out than I'd make them. A safer play in the section for me is 13/10 Canvey Island at home to Bury Town, although I'm waiting for team news on that one.
is that the anthony thomas who played for hemel hempstead about 5-6 years ago? i remember a very young anthony thomas tearing bromsgrove rovers apart around that time in a 4-0 win for hemel, at the time he was the best player i had seen at southern league level and my mate and myself thought he was destined for the league or conf prem at the very least, obviously we got it slightly wrong if hes at wingate!
  13. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 22-23 buxton 13-10 away at whitby buxton have been putting a few decent results together, the last two saturdays they have beaten high flying witton and north ferriby a friend at work who regularly watches rushall told me that whitby were the worst side hes seen in the league this season(last saturday)and it was daylight robbery that they stole a point with their only shot. he may be exaggerating slightly but i fancy buxton will take the points if they produce anything like their recent form

  14. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet Prem, North & South Dec 15-16 anyone else think that altrincham are value at over 3-1 away at brackley? with the goals that they score especially damian reeves they can beat anyone in this league on their day and brackley maybe a little overated imo, i have taken alty boreham wood are a decent price as well arent they? one last question, are weston super mare that good a side or are staines that bad to be 2-1 at home?

  15. Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 2nd Rd Dec 15 if at full strength i will be taking a kiddy/tamworth double against bromley and corby respectively, the midlands are frozen at the moment so the tamworth game must be a doubt at the moment. kiddy look a great bet to me considering the run they are on. any shocks likely? can matlock follow up by beating luton? kings lynn will have a bumper crowd as they attempt to beat telford, could a shock happen here?

  16. Re: England > Weekend > FA Vase 3rd Round Dec 8 walsall wood ply their trade in the midland combination premier step6 level the same as my local side bromsgrove sporting(formed from the ashes of bromsgrove rovers)they are currently top and are a very decent side at this level. i have backed them at 11-8 against mid table step 5 nw counties wigan robin park who i know nothing about but i am sure they wont be far away from a good result. plenty more ties to look into over the next few days as well
