  1. Re: Sky Bet Championship > November 9th & 10th Although he's been dealt a terrible hand by the Chinese and has a thankless task lee Clark hasn't helped himself with his baffling team selections and tactics,if we had any money he would have been sacked long ago,Huddersfield look a great price to me and I am a blues fan who has been to a handful of games this season.the only doubt in my mind is that we put in a decent performance when least expected like qpr and derby away, but at these odds I'm on the terriers

  2. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem, North & South Nov 9

I'm a Stockport fan and at 13/10 I think we're a great price, we're in great form under our new manager (new ish) look at the form table and we're near the top and we've got bottom of the league Oxford City. And we've just signed Liam Dickinson who is easily a football league player, it's just a matter of fitness. An extra tip, at coral County to win and BTTS is 16/5 which is brilliant, we've got a lot of goals in our side but our defence isn't great.
hi sam, I remember that liam Dickinson as a good player a few years ago think it was Rochdale? where have you signed him from cos I haven't heard his name for a few seasons
  3. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Nov 9 the prices on some of the favourites are stingy to say the least! never known the bookies being so careful at the start of November before, hemel 1-4 at bet365,they were a much better price on Tuesday against the whipping boys bashley. I might keep Redditch onside as they look a bit big at Banbury,i think Redditch have won 7 out of 8 in all competitions. another one for me is skelmersdale away at frickley at just below evens

  4. Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Nov 4-6

i am going to the hednesford game tonight' date='they should win but they are way too short for me to bet on, from what I have seen there isn't that much difference between the top teams and the bottom teams in this league. .hednesford also have a massive 1st round fa cup game against crawley on Saturday which makes me a little cautious[/quote'] a very decent game at hednesford tonight, two sides playing football,a game of two halves with hednesford dominant in the first half they should have been out of sight instead of just 2-0,second half was a different matter after a defensive error let colwyn bay in for a well taken goal, after that it was all one way traffic towards the hednesford goal with colwyn bay playing some excellent stuff hitting the woodwork twice, nobody could have complained if they got the draw they deserved but in the end it was another three points for the pitmen
  5. Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Nov 4-6 bet365 are betting on the lower non league games this evening(northern league 1), I have taken a short priced treble on Chesham to beat Bedford, hemel to bash bashley and Halesowen to beat kidsgrove, 4-9,1-3 and 4-9. I don't like betting on short priced favourites but this looks like a decent shout, chesham and hemel speak for themselves whilst Halesowen are hosting bottom of the table kidsgrove . i have also taken a small bet on Halesowen ht/ft at 11-10. chasetown host Bedworth in a bottom of the table northern league div one clash and could be worth interest at 10-11 imo, all these games will be inrunning at bet365 by the way

  7. Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Nov 4-6 after opposing Redditch many times over the last few years I am actually backing them to win tonight against chippenham who seem to be in turmoil, losing and conceding 13 in their last two games and sacking their manager in the process while he was on holiday with his missus celebrating his fortieth birthday!! Redditch have put a few results together recently and had david bridgewater and kyle Patterson on the bench Saturday,if these two were only on the bench then things must be looking up at the valley, patterson I saw a couple of years ago at hednesford and he got a move to tamworth on the strength of his performances and bridgewater has been a steady midfielder for years at this level .ex blues youngster Ashley sammons was expected to make the grade at st Andrews but somehow has ended up at Redditch, still he has been scoring a few goals from midfield recently as he attempts to revive what looked to be a very promising career, I saw him play for brum against Liverpool in the youth cup about four years ago and he was quality but injuries have curtailed him by the looks of things. chippenham look to be in dire straits and are looking for their third manager this season so Redditch at anything near evens are worth taking imo

  8. Re: Capital One Cup > 29th / 30th October

You'd have to say Norwich look decent value to get something at Old Trafford. I wouldn't want to be on United odds on in the fourth priority cup competition with the way they're playing. I like the look of Birmingham over Stoke. Stoke probably aren't that interested in the league cup as they're already big relegation candidates and aren't great travelers. They look poor value as favorites away.
as a brum fan I wouldn't back us with my money,we are a poor side and will be missing our best and perhaps only creative player tomorrow chris burke, also jesse lingard cant play and our midfield enforcer tom adeyembi will be on the bench at best.stoke should have enough to win this even if they make wholesale changes as they do have more quality as we are basically a team of freebies and loanees
  9. Re: England > Weekend > FA Cup 4th Rd Qualifiers Oct 26-27 I was looking at backing welling ht/ft and minus 1 on the handicap both at odds against, they play away at step 5 bristol side brislington, brislington have done brilliantly to get this far beating truro and Weston along the way but this game against skrill prem welling should be a game too far. 11-10 ht/ft and 23-20 minus 1 are the best prices I have found so far but I am holding fire until I get further team news as welling have a glut of injuries and a lack of strikers from what I can gather, be interested to hear ships and addpeas thoughts as welling aren't really that well known to me but it looks a very decent bet on paper

  10. Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 1st Qual Oct 19 a great days tipping for ships:clap, shocker for me with a lot more losers than winners! away from betting had a great day out yesterday following my team Bromsgrove sporting in the fa vase at westfields from Hereford, lovely train journey and a fair few pubs, we lost 3-2 but it was a cracking game and over half the crowd were from Bromsgrove which shows the potential the club has(we took well over 100)

  11. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South Oct 19 I cant ignore north ferriby at telford at odds of almost 2-1, ferriby are still being underated by the bookies imo, they are the best team that my mate has seen this season(he has been to all hednesfords games home and away) the pressure is immense at telford where demanding fans expect to win every game for some reason and if ferriby can keep the crowd quiet early doors they can go on to win this
