  1. Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Sept 7-8 a fair few possibles for me in the northern and southern sections this week kings lynn should have enough to dispose of droylosden at 4-6,fylde 2-5 at home to matlock, barwell 11-8 at Whitby, worksop 6-5 at Stamford, hemel hempsted 1-2 home to st neots and the aforementioned Weymouth and st albans, plenty to look into, could be a few winners at first glance.

  2. Re: England > Midweek > Northern & Southern Prem Sept 2-4 been on hols so a bit behind the non league scene at the moment, agree with fylde though especially inrunning betting! Weymouth seem to be doing well as are bideford which is a surprise tbh as its one of the football outposts deep in north devon, will look on the Weymouth site for info as I think they could be worth backing tonight at a decent price also had a short priced treble of Chesham, hemel and stourbridge

  3. Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S; Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Aug 19-21 cracking game at keys park tonight where hednesford came back from two goals down at half time to win 3-2 with three goals in the last twenty odd minutes, the winner right at the death. it was the proverbial game of two halves where leamington looked a very good counter attacking side first half and deservedly led at half time, liam daly was immense at the back, a magnet to the ball and the number 7 was absolute quality going forward wide right(dunno who he was???) lee chilten an Stefan moore with the goals. second half rob smith threw on the old warrior dave McPherson and Nathan woolfe and they helped change the game along with Jamey osbourne who was the most influential player on the pitch, goals from woolfe, durrell and another sub rey turned the game on its head. hednesford might not be the most polished side in the league but their spirit, attitude and effort has seen them win a few games from the dead over the last few years. all in all a great game to watch and both teams looked like they could be pushing for the play offs on this evidence

  4. Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S; Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Aug 19-21 i will be at the hednesford v leamington game on Tuesday evening, not one to bet on imo at this stage of the season as both sides started life in the skrill north with cracking wins on Saturday the heads up from Saturdays win at Stalybridge was that staly were a very young side with not a lot of physicality and hednesford were able to bully them and basically overpower them although staly had some good technical footballers. dunno whether colwyn bay are a big, physical side but they might be worth consideration at a good price also looking at Altrincham home to barrow, afc fylde at fcum and Bedford to beat Redditch who are as poor as last season according to somebody i know who saw them lose to arlesley yesterday, any info on Bedford ships as 5-4 seems a big price unless they are a poor outfit as well?

  5. Re: Championship > 16th - 17th August

birmingham odds look good value on first impressions. Should be 50/50 at best. brighton bad start, bad away form long term. New boss, not clicking yet. Lost few good players not made good replacemets yet. Prob confidence lacking and slacking. birmingham ok defence so far but not great attacking threat Home form not great last season during their bettter second half season but nt crap.
I have been to both brum games in the league and wouldn't want to be backing them with my money tbh,yes we are looking organised, tough to beat and plenty of endeavour but there is a distinct lack of quality up front with only lee novak and matt green fit up front at the moment. lee clark for some reason has gone 3-5-2 so far this season which has meant the omission of our two most creative players chris burke and scott allan.,we might win but i can see it being a very tight game with possibly one goal in it
  6. Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem 13-14 Aug the two games I am looking at are Kidderminster at alfreton(odds against at bet365)alfreton imo are going to struggle this season while kiddy without a massive budget but with steve burr in charge are a quality outfit.i can never understand why burrs never linked with the big jobs like luton and second division sides hes done a tremendous job at aggborough. secondly Wrexham at Halifax mainly due to the fact that Halifax played today for seventy minutes with nine men and have to go again on Tuesday night, a big ask imo. be interested in punters thoughts before I get involved though

  7. Re: Club Friendlies 2013 theres a game kicking off now inrunning at bet365, bohs v Bradford, bohs played a league of Ireland game last night so this wont be high on their list of priorities I would imagine. Bradford on the handicap minus 1 at 10-11 and to score in both halves 5-6

  8. Re: Pre-season friendlies Colchester played spurs first team tonight and drew 0-0, tomorrow they play away at Braintree with what I would presume will be the reserve/youth team?(cant imagine the first team being expected to play two games in less than 24 hours?) Braintree are 13-8 at bet365 which could be value if it is the stiffs that turn out ,team news first before I get involved after fc utd last night!

  9. Re: Pre-season friendlies

fc utd are 4-9 now just before kick off' date='i cant find any team news but would presume they are a lot stronger than a north west counties div 1 side, interestingly utd are 6-5 on the minus 1 handicap which I have taken, gonna get a beer out the fridge now and see how it all pans out![/quote'] ignore my tips! 1-0 Oldham 6minutes

  11. Re: Pre-season friendlies bet365 are covering Oldham boro fc v fc utd tonight inrunning, Oldham are a north west counties div 1 side so fc utd should win this comfortably if at full strength, it will be one to watch inrunning and there could be some value on the handicap hopefully once the game gets under way

  12. Re: England > Weekend/Midweek Non-league Play-offs May 6-7, 11-12 fylde also had a couple of colwyn bay players who played as well-what sort of team spirit can this build when loyal players find themselves on the bench? that aside fylde were a very very good side, unlucky to get knocked out to be honest as they didnt have any luck on the night hitting the woodwork three times and having a few penalty decisions go against them, i was really impressed with the way they broke with matthew barnes? absolute quality, compared to fc utd they a were much better team on the evidence i saw,i cant see anyone stopping them next season unless fc utd can improve on yesterdays showing. dont suppose the odds will be great though on fylde

  13. Re: England > Weekend/Midweek Non-league Play-offs May 6-7, 11-12 my arguement ships is that matty blinkhorn plays in the prem for hyde yet for a one off game he suddenly plays for fylde two levels below and scores a crucial goal, how can that be right? a bit like buying promotion in my opinion i wonder how james dean felt being on the bench after sweating blood and tears all season for fylde? ?

  14. Re: England > Weekend/Midweek Non-league Play-offs May 6-7, 11-12 went to hednesfords play off win today against fcum, a record crowd of 4400 at keys park, hednes just about deserved the win,the game was a game of two halves as the old adage goes.special mention to fcs travelling army who didnt stop singing the whole game and were impeccably behaved despite some knobhead chavs from hednesford spoiling the victory imo. i also went to the semi final fylde game midweek, quite simply the best non league game i have ever seen, words could never describe it! the rules must be changed though as moneybags fylde drafted in three dual registered players from higher leagues in an attempt to buy promotion, luckily justice prevailed! big congrats to rob smith on a well deserved promotion and in fact a treble for him and hednesford this season coupled with the bham senior cup and the staffordshire senior cup

  15. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 27 can colwyn bay complete their amazing escape against an injury hit gloucester? addpea will no doubt have some thoughts on this one altrincham wont want any injuries in their local derby against droylsden, the bloods have a reputation for shall we say robust tactics so it will be interesting to see what sort of side alty put out solihull might be one for me at odds against if team news is favourable

  16. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25

Although it's a no bet for me' date=' BG, I can see the case for backing Oxford City, especially as the price is on the drift to 2/1. Gainsborough's form is pretty indifferent - four wins in 12 - and they are not functioning with the fluency or drive of early season, though they are a better side on paper. The off-the-field stuff has done for their play-off chances - what looked initially like brinkmanship for the chairman has hardened into an 80% budget cut for next season with his departure, and despite three wins in the last four I'm not sure I'd trust them. Oxford City have a new president, too - a figure from the shadier end of Wall Street, which should prove very entertaining next season though won't have much influence tonight. They are a decent, hard-working side but lack a creative edge, and Trinity are organised enough even at 70% on the throttle to keep them out. While I wouldn't make Oxford C 2/1 and I can't put you off backing them at that price, there are too many variables for me to play with any confidence.[/quote'] thanks for your thoughts, will probably see how its panning out and maybe have a bet inrunning at 365 out of interest what sort of budget did they have this season cos they looked a very decent side when i saw them live on tv at wrexham in the trophy semi final?
