  1. Re: Kempton 30th Dec (eve)

7.20 Kempton Aimed to back Bertoliver at 11/4 ish today but he has done nothing but shortenand I never struck a bet so have passed over now in favour of Excellent Show. Given high mark when first handicapping after running in Grp 2 on third start, mark now dropped to realistic level, and good second to improving rival on AW debut, latest. 5/1 VC, 1 pt EW.
I Find this a very strange post? You aimed to back another horse now your backing Excellent Show because the price has dropped. How bizare & confusing to anybody who reads it.
  2. Re: Wetherby ~ 5th Dec 3.15 Weth - Dawn Ride I don't like Malko de beaumont, i backed it once & it ran a stinker on soft. I,m backing DAWN RIDE who loves Wetherby. Granted its up in grade, i'm wlling to take a chance. I see more of a danger from Gripit N Tipit whom I was told could be one for next time.

  3. Re: Champions League » Nov 25 FC PORTO V CHELSEA I see that chelsea are playing a very strong team tonight, yes they are without Drogba & Cole, Lampard & Ashley Cole. They have quality to cover these players in Ballack, Malouda, Kalou & Deco. They want to top the group. They strolled thegame at the Bridge. 80% stake on Asian(0) 1.91 20% Stake on Chelsea win 7/4

  4. Re: Best bet of the day - 8/6/09 9PM Widsor-Cocktail Party-0.5 EW With John Hill doubling his wins at Brighton at the weekend (1to3 anyways), could his horses have turned the corner. I suppose he has got a lot of 2 year olds. Anyways this horse would only run with a bit of cut, he may just about have that. A decent small e.w chance. Good Luck

  5. Re: BBOTD Sun 18/1/09 3.40 Towcester -_ Crank Hill On official ratings this horse has a lot to make up on Pancake. I have been told that it's working well after the lay off and will give Pancake a run for it's money now fully wound up. I would usually back it e.w but due to the size of the field i'm on to win. The place only is interesting but due to 2 places only i'll be looking for 2.6 at least.

  6. Re: BBOTD - 14th January 2009 1.55 Newbury -Shoeacres I watched this horse on it's last run in a good race. It came 3rd that day. It also came fourth in the previous champion Bumper. I'm not really concerned with Mad Max. I think the danger could come from Cockney Trucker. I'm on Shoeacres to progress and win this race.

  7. Re: Leopardstown - 11/1/09 3.25 Leop - Kingsbury I've been told this horse is running well, which in Irish language means back it Each Way. I'm on as this info does bring up a few long shots for profit. I've backed it win @ 25/1. More on the place at 4/1. (keep it small) To be sure! To be sure! Get him in O'Connor.

  8. Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Sun 11/1/09 3.35 Great Leighs - Takamaara This horse was in my vast notebook to win again over this distance. Of course i had to look at the oposition. I did have lady Aspen as the danger which is now a non runner. I've seen Very Well Read a few times and don't beleive this is it's best trip. Safebreaker is the fav. I'dl ay that all day. (lol prob win now.) I got 4.8 on Takamaara. I'm def on at those odds.

  9. Re: Lingfield - 10Jan08 So, am I correct in believeing that no new obvious information arose just prior to the race that changed the odds so dramatically, but rather the swings were the effect of some kind of mass behaviour (everyone does what everyone else does)? Thanks again! This is a big subject you're openin up here, probably best to open a new topic discussion to get all the views. Some people follw the mass. Some do their own form/speed ratings together with their own info. I personally get a lot of info from Ireland as i know a few people over their. Some people follow the tipsters i.e Nag nag.

2.50 Lingfield-Turn On The Style I've been following this horse which has earned me a nice profit, so i'm stcking with it. I think it's still got another couple of wins to come before it's hiked in the weights. I'm on at a decent price of 4/1. I'm going against PL2008 on this one & class it as my best bet. I hope one of us wins.

Course form is 515. First time visor should not be a concern He has a 1 of 9 in first cheekpeaces and 2 of 8 first time blinkers from experinece. 10pts to win @ SP I totaly agree with your analysis, this was nearly my BBOTD. I'm on.
1st @ 9-4 Nice start PL2008. I certainly had the full 10pts on. A free days racing/football now plus a few beers. I've only backed 3 horses today so GLuck for your others.
