  1. 4:30 Epsom Eminent win 7/1 bet365

Hoping to get off the mark with this son of the mighty Frankel. I thought he ran a cracker in the 2000G's where he had a little trouble in running at the 1-2 f pole and ran on again in the latter stages when daylight appeared. I believe the longer trip will bring out the best in this long striding individual and given a more positive ride I think he will be very hard to beat.

  2. Re: Nap of the day 7th March 2015 3:10 Sandown Gassin Golf 33/1 Bet Vic Ran a cracker in this last year off an 11b lower mark just getting touched off by the Pipe horse. From 13 hurdle starts he has been the bridesmaid 6 times and 3rd 3 times. Dickie gets the leg up today and I'm hoping he can finally get his nose in front.

  3. Re: BBOTD > Saturday January 25th Sailors Warm 3.25 Leo 1pt win 40/1 Boylesports Course form reads 6/2/1/2 and has won off a mark of 139. Races off 138 tomorrow with a claimer taking off the 3. Jockey an unknown and SW returns from a long absence but if O'Grady has him fit for this tasty prize he could be in the mix at the business end.

  4. Re: BBOTD Saturday 14th Dec 2013 Colour Squadron 2.25 ch 6/1 betV 1pt win Im on them Jimmy. Think I'm an addict and an unlucky 1 at that so if anyone is reading this give this bad boy a wide berth. Tony takes the mount and CS was very unlucky not to win the PP LTO over CD. Hampered by a fallen horse then unbalanced before he eventually found his stride to finish strongly. Should have won a few class races but for falling also so I think he may be well handicapped

  5. Re: BBOTD > Saturday December 7th ROUDOUDOU VILLE 12.25 Ch 10/1 betfred 1pt win Liked the look of this big strapping animal when last seen at Chelt. Ran a cracker that day over the bigger obstacles off a mark of 145. When last seen at Chep he won by 15l going away. Has also won at the distance. Giles takes a handy 3lb off so if fit after a 2 year absence he could be primed for a big run.

  6. Re: BBOTD - Saturday 14th September Saptapadi 4.25 Donny 7/1 Coral Not been betting of late but ill throw my tip in for anyone looking for a punt on the race. Saptapadi last won in April 2010 over this CD with Ryan Moore on board so it is worth noting that he is back in the saddle tomorrow. he was racing off a mark of 100 then and races off 91 tomorrow so he is handicapped to go close. Brian Ellison has been in good form of late also with a few winners and placed efforts so everything looks good for a big run IMO..

  7. Re: BBOTD - Thursday 18th July Dolly Diva 5.50 Donny betVictor 28/1 1pt win This nag has had 14 starts to date and is yet to get her head in front but has placed a few times off a mark off 60. Races off 49 this evening and the in form Jordan Nason is on board. He was on the horse LTO at Beverely where he went from last to 6th in the last 2 furlongs after getting stuck in behind a wall of horses. With the wee man in form and the a useful mark the horse might just get its head in front..

  8. Re: BBOTD - Monday the 15th of July FINDOG 3:00 Ayr 18/1 bet victor I have bet this nag the last 3 runnings where it has been notably unlucky not get to get a run on 2 occasions and got badly bumped at the start on its latest outing when finishing very strongly over 6f at Hamilton. Was beaten 2 starts previously by Sunraider who is now rated 80 and won off a mark off 75. He was dancing all over that rival that day but did not get the gaps.. The 4th that day (script) has also won since franking the form. Findog races off a mark of 69 tomorrow receiving 12lb from the top weight so I feel he could be particularly well handicapped. Linda Perratt sends him to Ayr tomorrow over the 6f on g/f ground and I feel the stiff uphill finish will play to his strengths as he appears to finish his races well. Worth a punt at 18/1

  9. Re: robertob's eye-catcher thread

Shavansky disappointing even though not the clearest of runs again, Emiratesdotcom only 2nd, hit top gear too late unfortunately... 14.40 York: Sam Sharp @ 9/1 Paddy Power - 2pts win Sam Sharp produced a huge performance at Haydock three weeks ago. He didn't have much going for him in that race, travelling super well but having a bunch of horses in front of his nose as well as to the left and to the right with no chance for escape. He had to wait until all horses passed him, so that he had a chance to switch to the outside approaching the 1f marker and once in the clear he finished like a dream to end up in 3rd place. He remains on the same mark and with a clear run he should go really close here tomorrow I feel. 19.35 Leicester: Tatlisu @ 12/1 Bet365 - 2pt win Thought Tatlisu ran a much better race than the bare form suggests lto at Ripon. He was unsettled throughout the race but looked to mount a big challenge approaching the 2f marker. He was then short of room there, tried to quicken again but was stopped abruptly again. I think he would have gone pretty close with a clear run. He's down to a very low mark now and could be better than this. A 5lb claimer on board is interesting too, and it wouldn't be a surprise it Tatlisu would make use of his low weight.
Keep them coming Rob! No pressure but im sticking with this thread ONLY.. Amazing strike rate on top of last weeks winner. Big Thanks!
