  1. Re: Pre-Season - January 11

Brisbane International - Bernard Tomic @ 34 Betfair Tomic has been training on the Gold Coast for six weeks and with the heat in Queensland very severe right now I think this could give him a slight advantage. He won his first title in Australia (Sydney) and after a pretty disappointing 2014 I have a feeling he'll start the year well at home and being on the opposite side of the draw to Federer is obviously a bonus.
Have Querrey as an outside shot @101 to make some sort of impact,so I'll be opposing you from the off :eek. I think Tomic should have a good year though, all the talk out of his camp has suddenly gotten serious.I'm surprised to see Kyrgios as a clear favourite for the top Australian, granted I haven't seen much of him but he hasn't been on the tour very long at all and was tired towards the end of last year.
  2. Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > November 7th - 9th Backing Rayo Vallecano in Reals back yard Saturday night @44.Real could easily hammer these, the 3 results from the last meetings in the Bernabeu between the two have been 5-0,2-0 and 6-2,but Rayo aren't really that bad a team.If they were bottom or a bit closer I could understand but 43/1 is a bit big for a team that held the champions on day 1,beat Athletic Bilbao (who granted are poor right now) and lost 2-0 to Barce conceding twice in two minutes. They're a bit of a crazy team.Horrid at times but can play some really good stuff when they feel like it.They're not taking the 3 points from Real but if they can hold them off for half an hour and maybe even nick one I'll take a trade on that price,it's too big for a side who consistently score more goals in the league than teams in similar a position. They average 1.4 goals away from home and have won 2/3 recent away games so they could pose a threat especially if Real don't take them seriously, they're due a little hiccup sooner or later, even if it's just a 1st half in an easy home game.

  3. Re: Ante-Post > Championship Promotion 2014/15 My worry about Fryatt would be his lack of game-time over the last two years since his bad injury, should be at his peak right now though so if there was any time to get back on track it'd be now.If Forest's progress rests on the likes of him maybe he'd be a better look at top scorer rather than Forest to succeed at a shorter price? Not sure about Pearce at all,has never really left an impression as a manager.Seems to have gone about things the right way not jumping into jobs left right and centre but he's still very inexperienced for someone 10 years in a profession.

  4. Re: Ante-Post > Championship Promotion 2014/15 Re Canaries91,I think a lot depends on how the best players from last year react to the task of getting out of this extremely competitive league.Bassong looks like he wants out and he's a huge player for them, his attitude could affect team harmony.Fer looked decent last year but RVW could be the player that makes or breaks the promotion push.Supposedly took a bad knock this week, signs maybe that he's not taking anything lightly and is giving it his most in training. That quality he showed for Utrecht and SL is still there but luck has gone against him a bit. He'll miss a lot of pre-season,but if he's 100% fit I feel he's a level above this league and could spearhead the struggle back to the top flight.Grabban is an excellent signing, wouldn't have much faith in Lafferty but there's solid firepower there and that always gives you a chance in this league.

  5. Re: Ante-Post > Championship Promotion 2014/15 Any thoughts on Millwall?Very unlikely to pull off an upset I know but I think a very important factor in this league can be who is at the helm of sides that are successful.Hull had no right going up under Bruce with the squad they had and the same could be said about both of the sides Holloway brought to the Premiership. It'd be a very tall order but I think there's a good chance they'll be competitive. Mccarthy is another one with that bit of experience but Ipswich look very short to me,the strength of their squad is less than desirable too.Looking at squad quality Wolves are one that have a crazy amount of experience considering everything that's happened to them over the last two years,it's mad they've managed to keep the core of their Premiership side whilst going down two divisions.I like Kenny Jackett as a manager but he is a bit unproven under weighty expectations, this side really should do well.I might see how things start for them and jump on a larger price if they start a bit slower,it'll be very difficult to see this side not compete for promotion, they should be around the playoff fight at least come the business end. Bolton stick out to me as well.Freedman's another fairly unproven manager under massive pressure this season. He's been given a lot of time by these day's standards to settle the ship and the board will expect results this year.I think he can deliver with the squad available to him now,a couple of old vets were let go but there's still some decent experience in the squad, they do lack a cutting edge though. If one or two more quality players can be added they'll have a strong enough squad and have a price that would match the dark horse tag.

  6. Re: April 7 - April 13 Jack Sock vs Ivo Karlovic over 24.5 @1.8 w/Marathonbet Both previous meetings, although on hard court, went over this line.In the 2 past games they've played,3/6 sets have been tie-breaks.3 sets will bring this in easily and there have been 3 sets in both their last meetings.Clay will slow things down, even if one player wins this in straight sets there's a chance of the overs coming in.

  7. Re: Sky Bet Championship > Saturday March 15th

Think there's a decent bet lying around somewhere in the QPR-Yeovil game tomorrow. Looked at a few different markets but the best I can see right now is over 2.5 @2.15 w/Marathon.Pretty much 50% overs for both sides in their respective home/away games this season but 6/9 QPR's last home games have gone over and the same number for Yeovil.Yeovil have only failed to score in 3 of their away games this season.Even though QPR kept a clean sheet in 8/10 games at the start of the season,They haven't kept one in their last 7 and have shipped 11 goals in those games,So the win to [email protected] is too short to take imo. Joe Ralls is missing for Yeovil,He's Played 20+ games this season and is an important player in the middle of the pitch for them.Seen a possible line-up earlier of Morrison playing behind Will Keane.Keane anytime @3.1 and Morrison @3.4 are both worth taking if that's the case but I'll be waiting for line-ups.Keane has already moved in with Betvic at that price so it might not be there come kick-off,Not taking the risk now in case he doesn't start. QPR should be well up for this,If not they can kiss goodbye to automatic promotion.
    :ok
  8. Re: Fulham v Newcastle United > Saturday March 15th Fulham dnb William Hill 23/20 Fulham have won the last four Barclays Premier League home games against Newcastle. The Magpies are without their best player in Remy.Debuchy is also missing and a few others doubtful.Fulham have had some brutal results and can only improve,Newcastle are a much better side on their day right now but don't show up every now and then.
