Re: Genting - GPS Freeroll - Sunday 13th at 7pm Seems wrong to re-enter as I bust just before the problem break, and probably not around Sunday anyway, but reg'd just in case with a % of any win to those PL members who were still in when game stopped, e.g. Ian, Al, Donna, Bene & others....... etc

Re: Sunday 13th April: Where are you playing? gl guys :hope I was in the GPS freeroll earlier and jumped into the MPNPT freeroll on Stan James. Mainly watching the Masters golf though tbh.

Although I'm not personally playing at the moment, still nice to see other members doing well and notching up good wins and cashes. Go on, let us know what you're playing today, how deep you're running, any interesting spots/hands and don't forget to brag any wins/profits/seats won. Might be around a little later for railing duties :cheers GOOD LUCK, RUN GOOD, RUN DEEP!

Re: Partypoker Halloween Freeroll - Prizes still not paid out! pmsl and of course they've immediately taken £4.23 away inactivity fee as I haven't played for (at least) 6 months :rollinI'm sorry but they are imo a complete joke. With a £1.50 (visa) or £30 (bank t/f) withdrawal fee, only £15 left and requirement of having to make a deposit first in order to withdraw, I'll just donk it off on any old tourney with any proceeds won to charity. Probably the best way to use it up and then can free up my hard drive a bit more ;)

Re: PokerPlayer Mag / Will Hill €1800 Freeroll Series - the next 4 Sundays starting 2 Usually it is the poker site that handle payouts and not PokerPlayer Mag as such. Probably best to drop another support ticket to William Hill as well as bumping facebook. Keep us updated on how you're getting on :ok

Re: Partypoker Halloween Freeroll - Prizes still not paid out! UPDATE: After 5 months of deliberately making a nuisance of myself, on a matter of principle (bumping support ticket every month or so), finally got a resolution/payout from PartyPoker support. They have apparantly (not checked yet) credited my account with £20 withdrawable cash in lieu of the $20 tournament token that should've been paid out back in Oct 2013. It was never about the monetary value but more a question of the breach of trust/responsibility that annoys me immensely. Anyway, pm'd Kev to ensure that he is also compensated appropriately and posted here to update everyone else. Fair play to Party in finally sorting it out but these things should never take 5 months and constant pestering to resolve. As regular supporting players we deserve better and have a large choice of where to play. Certain companies need to work harder on retaining good will & loyalty. If anyone is currently fund-raising or would like to be staked to raise money for a charity close to them, drop me a pm and I'll transfer the £20. Failing that the money will go towards Cancer Research or Macmillan Care etc :ok Edit: Kev gets first refusal in case his token doesn't get resolved in a timely fashion ;)

Re: MPN Poker Tour - Next leg (London) 29th May 8pm tonight theres an All-in Carnage Freeroll on Stan James (maybe network wide?) with 20x €2.20 satellite seats for London. Various other single hand freerolls coming up for smaller, steps style tickets.

Re: Poker Player Magazine Tour 2014 Satellite Thread
Quality first post imo :ok Carefully thought through and constructive feedback like this is always hugely valuable and a great way for mags, poker sites, ourselves as players etc to think about, discuss and seek mutually beneficial improvements. Warm welcome to the forum checkorbet, some excellent satellite results already, keep up the good work and great to see you joining in the forum. Be great to hear what other members think too, ideal place for a discussion and sharing of thoughts. You're right, there's a stong bond between PuntersLounge members and PokerPlayer Mag. Think we've all benefited from PPMag's added value promotions, articles & strategy tips many times and have always in return helped to support and promote them as they (and similar titles) do such a vital role in helping to develop and promote the game we all love. Not to mention sharing a beer or two at the live events :cheers I've got a couple of thoughts myself but need a little more thought before posting and don't have much time at the moment. Will jot them down in a day or two.Hello, Felt the need to post (1st one) as I've been looking at your forum on and off for a while and I felt you had a good rapport with Grosvenor and some influence with the Poker Player magazine staff, but I was reluctant to comment. However, I'd just thought I'd voice my opinion for what it's worth, more as feedback really to both Grosvenor and PP Mag, but also for others views. I'll just add I'm a recreational player, like some banter at the online tables (within reason) and last year through the PPUKPT satellite process with On-line Grosvenor, I managed to attend 2 PPUKPT events and also got into the GUKPT satellites, and was fortunate to qualify and attend 2 of them too. The arrangement this year for both, seem to be less attractive by satellite entry and I'll tell you why. 1. There is not an adequate amount of scheduled satellites for the PPUKPT. I was on the same table at the recent freeroll for a PPUKPT seat on WINAMAX and managed to chat with the PP Mag editor who said, "only a very few qualified in any case through the satellites for the live events"!. I was one of them and I'm guessing other members on here were too. 2. As there's limited satellites the only real way to enter the live event is by direct buyin, and there's no facility on Grosvenor for this on-line. So that'll be hard cash then, not from my on-line bankroll. To be honest, the only way I can really justify entry to play live is by satellite entry due to all the other travel, accommodation costs etc. 3. The GUKPT £5 satellites offer qualification for the next £55 sat and you can't unregister to bank this as a token, so once you've qualified you can't play any further £5 sats until the £55 sats been played? Last year, Grosvenor gave the prizes as tokens, so you could select which £55 sat to enter and stock a few tokens for weeks when you can't play the lower sats. 4. Having taken away the PPUKPT sats from Grosvenor, to me it's just another site to keep an account on, so less points earned on the Grosvenor site which could be used for either. Sorry about my rage. That'll be my groan shared and so at least I feel better already. Cheers
