  1. Re: Pokerstars Sunday Million 9th Aniversary Thanks mate, not checked satellite structure yet but probably worth a try, so I'm in. Does anyone want to do a syndicate on this satellite (and this satellite only)? Just thinking this will probably be my only attempt to get in and would be nice to have someone or more to rail in the Sunday Mill even if don't make it through myself. Similarly, would be nice to share a big Barty Bink with friends if I somehow manage to find a deep run. Effectively cost free, unless your bank's parents weren't married at time of conception! Open to suggestions, but thinking along the lines of 10% of any cash in the Sunday Mill resulting from qualification from this satellite paid back and split by other syndicate members who signed up prior to satellite scheduled start. 5% if preferred to reflect the number of hours needed to grind out a cash, although probably best to set a minimum qualifying amount for transfers, like $20 or whatever. No point transferring $3.45 to 10 or more people lol, right pain in the Arsenal. Just a thought. Yeigh or nay, consensus gets it, I'm happy with a free shot either way!

  2. Re: Added value - still a bit around. Lets Twist again surprise promo Dropped tomorrow 1st March, Twister tokens, use any tokens by 8th March. Full corrected details in this link courtesy of BoylePoker, but network wide so worth checking your other skins too.

Whilst I think of it, also read somewhere that ipoker network are going to do a random token drop (think between 2nd & 6th of March) into random accounts in lieu of network issues in recent weeks. Just need to log in to see if you're one of the chosen ones, no playing requirement. Can't for the life of me remember which source I read it in, could be any of the 20 odd poker sources read daily, will confirm/correct details when known and of course credit source when known.

  4. Bit late for tonight, sorry, but on the 30th each month (28th in Feb) on Redbet (ongame) is a Champion of the Month tourney. Not sure if skin exclusive or network wide. $5.50 buyin with qualifiers if you want to get in cheaper. Up to $750 added depending on how many days/points you've earned finishing 2nd to 6th, plus a prize/gadget up top. Got the email late tonight and late reg'd, prize was a Gopro this month. Cruised into money but busted 3rd vs 1st with 13 left as kiddie couldn't fold an Ace to my JJ protection overshove. lol gl with that! Just 81 runners, modest buyin, cash for top 15 with added cash/prize for top 6 and horrendously poor players. Enough said? Good luck :ok Edit: Link to Redbet promo page

  5. Re: Unibet poker Good luck jolly, would be awesome to play at a different venue like this. Check out the Unibet and UnibetOpen websites for full details, including details of satellites in which you can try and qualify cheap. I personally only have limited experience of their new poker software since they moved to their own platform, others can no doubt provide better feedback for you. I think traffic on there is noticeably smaller than on other "combined pool" of players networks, but that in itself can present opportunities for value and overlay. From memory, there's a fair proportion of sports betting traffic trying out their "luck" on poker which again can represent an opportunity for the poker-savy. A few members have played previous Unibet live events and I think the consensus is that they put on a good show with a good structure. Let us know how you get on and good luck :ok

  11. Re: Free Twister tokens - worth keeping an eye on emails and old accounts. You've actually got me thinking now, maybe we should all treat poker more like an investment portfolio. The bulk of our roll and time spent on safer known returns, but a small % of each spent on the higher risk- higher potential return formats. Or maybe I just always try to over think everything? Lol Interesting stuff. Sent from my XT1052 using PL Forum

  12. Re: Free Twister tokens - worth keeping an eye on emails and old accounts. Yeah, would suggest that in value terms they're definitely -ve EV, don't recall exactly but something like 26% of bi put aside for jackpots on top of usual rake. Wasn't aware of points qualifiers, sound like a decent grind if you have spare time and you're getting good itm ratio. Still relying on hitting a big spin though I guess to justify time spent. Whilst -ve in value terms, could be an argument for ICM edge +ve as from what I've seen standard of play is incredibly poor and easy to quickly identify nits from maniacs. Whether this alone would out weigh the rake/jackpot is debatable. Tend to avoid anything with more than 10 to 15% taken out and only use with free tokens, but there's always that chance of a big win. Been doing premium bonds for years with little return for exactly same reason. This time next year Rodney ;) Sent from my XT1052 using PL Forum
