  1. Spartak Trnava travels to Armenia without 5 players, with 3 of them injured but with to surprisinig absentees - Bello and Tambe didnt get visa. Which is according to their coach very surprisinig and they have to find solution very quickly. If I count with long Journey and delayed flight, I see some value in backing home side DNB @2.11 local bookie

  2. MŠK Žilina - Athletic Bilbao I think that both teams to score is a worth to try today, because it represents some value in my opinion and it looked like an obvious bet to me when I saw this game. Sometimes it´s tricky but I am going to try it today. We had seen that home side is capable of scoring goals and even if this is an opponent from absolutely another level as those before, their chances to score are not that low. Bilbao is coming to Slovakia after an extraordinary performance against Barcelona, and now I´m thinking if this is going to play in their or in Žilina´s favour. Bilbao is going to play against Barca again on Sunday and if they manage at least not to lose on Sunday, they will be heroes. On the other hand, even if they left a few players in Spain to rest, I´m sure they take EL seriously as long as winning EL might be the only chance to get CL spot, considering that finishing in TOP4 in Spain is always very difficult, except for Barca and Real. What is more, they have enough power to decide this game in 2nd leg but I´m sure they are not going to rely on that, but anyway ... something like 1-1 is not a disaster. Considering Žilina´s offensive style of play, Bilbao´s attacking power and resting few players, both to score is my choice! Both teams to score @2.20 Bet365
MŠK Žilina - Athletic Bilbao 3-2 WON Well, what a comeback! Anyway, both teams managed to score, and not only once, so that went smoothly!

  4. Vorskla Poltava - MŠK Žilina In my opinion, there is quite high chance that both teams are going to score today, so that will be my main bet today. Home team has to play offensively as long as it´s the only way how to score at least 2 goals to make it to the extra-time. In the previous rounds we had seen that Žilina is not that tight in the defence in order to keep a clean sheet in a game like this - they conceded in both Chisinau and Glentoran. On the other hand, their offensive power is huge (at least in terms of slovak league and 3Q round :D) so it would be a surprise for me if they don´t manage to score a goal as well. We have nice odds for that kind of bet, even my unwritten rule of "over comes after under" (not always obviously as you will see later) supports this bet - BTTS doesn´t mean over, but I think we won´t see max 1 goal! What is more, I would like to take one more bet - red card. As I mentioned last week, there were some tension on the pitch in last couple of minutes and Vorskla players promised a revenge. I don´t know what exactly it might mean but I think it´s worth to try! Both teams to score @2.05 William Hill - high stakes Red card @3.23 local bookie - small stakes Spartak Trnava - PAOK I don´t see value in backing PAOK to win and handicap seems to me dangerous, as long as I see few missings for PAOK from starting eleven. That makes me think that we are not going to see many goals today. Spartak barely created chances in the first game, even with one man advantage since the very early minutes. They also know that they brought a promising result so keeping 0-0 makes sense for them and they don´t need to rush with attacking. On the other hand, as I said before, I expect PAOK to control the game and I don´t see any reason why they should take attacking approach as well. In conclusion, this one look underish for me. Under 2,5 @1.85 Pinnacle - medium stakes Slovan Bratislava - Krasnodar I prefer to avoid this game. Slovan looks quite unpredictable at the moment and I don´t know much about Kranosdar anyway. It´s possible that they are coming to Bratislava to defend their 2 goals lead and I wouldn´t be surprised if they succeed. On the other hand, Slovan was really weak in terms of attacking in the first leg so maybe Krasnodar´s defence is really too strong for them.So it might look like under, but the odds are nothing attractive if I consider that it looks so unpredictable to me. I don´t know, I´m not sure, let´s skip this game! There are 3 more bets I´m going to take today, but I will be very short with them, it´s just my opinion how it might look like today: Stromsgodset - Hajduk - both teams to score @1.72 - the odds are quite short but I´m confident about this bet for several reasons. Home team has to attack (similarity with Poltava) and Hajduk finds it difficult to keep a clean sheet in EL this season. They are also often involved in high scoring games so at least 1-1 is possible imho. Home team scored 6 in the norwegian league this weekend, I hope they still have at least one hidden for Hajduk. Basaksehir - AZ - home team to qualify @6.00 - I think that first game was influenced a little bit by red card and it might have ended with completely different result. According to the home coach, their focus is to defend properly and don´t rush with attacking. Correct me if I´m wrong but AZ lost their striker this week so I see home team to get 2-0 and decide in extra-time :p. Astra - WHU - Astra to win @2.69 - It´s obvious that WHU doesn´t care about this competition and I think their time is coming to the end today. They left several players in London so with these odds there is nothing much to say, just make a bet.

  5. Due to lack of time my post will be very short today, I´m only going to highlight my suggested bets for slovakian teams tonight. Žilina - Vorskla Poltava - Žilina to win @2.41 Tempobet First big challenge for ambitious home squad and I´m very optimistic about their chances to get a win tonight. As far as I know there are no important missings for home team and as we can see they have been playing a great football this season so far. Ukrainian team started their domestic league quite badly I think, drawing both games even being a favourite in both of them. My information about them is very limited but I simply trust Žilina and that´s my reason to back them tonight. Kranosdar - Slovan Bratislava - under 2,5 @2.03 Marathonbet Very difficult to find some value in this game, but I think this one is worth a shot. From what I read on the internet, Krasnodar lost key player Shirokov and they also have one important missing tonight, can´t remember the name, some Brazilian I think (sorry!). Also it seems that they are weaker than last year, but Slovan didn´t impressed me enough to trust them that they geat a draw or something tonight. I see it as a tight game, Slovan will play carefully, Russian teams always look to me underish at home european games, so why not? PAOK - Spartak Trnava - PAOK -2,5 @3.18 Marathonbet It´s all about how much PAOK wants it. The gap in quality between these two sides is huge, Trnava also have many missings and even if they deserve my congratulations after beating Linfield 1-3 away, this is simply too strong opponent. PAOK destroyed Lokomotiva at home last week and I´m sure they are capable of same thing today, with Robert Mak being very motivated to show something against Slovak club. I don´t see why PAOK shoulnd´t win 3-0 or 4-1, these odds are worth to try.
Žilina - Vorskla Poltava 2-0 WON I´m very happy that Žilina met my expectations and they are a little bit closer to the next stage of competition, hopefully they will make it to the group stage. In the last couple of minutes, guests had to use a player from the field because their goalkeeper was sent off but unfortunately Žilina didn´t manage to score one more goal, this tie would be almost over. Maybe we will see red card also in the 2nd leg because guests very quite agressive and they promised a revenge to Žilina players, that´s been said on the pitch according to home players. It might be interesting bet. Krasnodar - Slovan Bratislava 2-0 WON I haven´t seen the higlights, only few short articles in the newspaper, but it seems to me that Slovan wasn´t dangerous at all and home team was just controlling the game. And thankfully, that resulted in the under. I hope that Slovan will make it tough for them in the 2nd leg. PAOK - Spartak Trnava 1-0 LOST Well, the game was infulenced by very early red card, but we could all agree that even with less players on the pitch, PAOK was still much stronger. Anyway, Trnava made a promising result before the home game, which I didn´t expected because I thought that this tie would be over after yesterday game.

  7. MŠK Žilina – Dacia Chisinau 4-2 Žilina to win with clean sheet @2.37 Bet365 – small stake LOST UC Dublin – Slovan Bratislava 1-5 Slovan to win + BTTS @3.10 Bet365 – medium stake WON Over 2,5 goals + BTTS @2.62 Bet365 – medium stake (in case of surprise) WON Linfield – Spartak Trnava 1-3 Linfield to qualify @4.00 Unibet – small stake LOST
Honestly, after Dacia´s red card in first half I was sure that this bet will be won. I didn´t watch the game, but unfortunately, something happened and it seems that both teams didn´t really care about defending a little bit, so finally we have 6 goals. Not exactly like I expected, but as I said, we should have been careful with stakes. On the other hand, I´m very happy with Slovan game, because both bet had highest stakes yesterday, and both bets are won. Nothing much to say here, Slovan wanted do demonstrate its quality and Dublin wasn´t that bad not to score at least a goal. In case of Trnava, it also looked like it might be correct prediction, when Linfield scored the first goal. But then Trnava improved and even if my bet with small stake is lost, I´m pleased that they are in the next round and can welcome team like PAOK. I wish them luck.
  8. MŠK Žilina – Dacia Chisinau Žilina brought a very promising victory 1-2 which gives team a really good chance to go forward in the competition. Despite being an offensive team at home or away, I wouldn´t be surprised if they take this game more carefully. It´s important to realize that with Slovak league already in progress, they are going to have a tight schedule in next couple of weeks, so it might be sensible to lower the tempo a little bit. What is more, severel players had stomach problems after return from Chisinau, so I suggest (I´m not coach of course) to take a careful approach to protect the lead and don´t do anything stupid. Dacia created few dangerous chances in the first leg, and according to their coach, they have intention to play offensively since the first minute. But I expect that their attacking players will have a lot of diffculties to break home defensmen. On the other hand, Žilina is better team and I´m sure they are capable of scoring goals, at least when Dacia would be made to open defence totally. All in all, I don´t recommend to play this bet with higher stakes as long as I´m not really sure about Dacia´s skills etc. But anyway, I really like it with smaller stakes. Žilina to win with clean sheet @2.37 Bet365 – small stake UC Dublin – Slovan Bratislava Dublin wasn´t that weak as I and the others might have expected last week. It´s also important to say that Slovan were absolutely dreadful in finishing. And there could be a draw as well, but Slovan´s defender kicked out the ball from the goal line in last minutes. Today, Slovan wants to demonstrate that they have enough attacking power to score several goals and confirm that have much more quality than UCD. They must be also really motivated because they unexpectedly brought a very good result from Slovakia and their sold out stadium (it´s only for 1500 people as far as I know, but it´s still sold out, no?) will be very excited tonight. At least I hope, I´m not really sure how they take this game in Ireland. But anyway, this game has potential to produce more goals than we had seen in the 1st leg, and what is more, I see Dublin scoring tonight as well. Slovan to win + BTTS @3.10 Bet365 – medium stake Over 2,5 goals + BTTS @2.62 Bet365 – medium stake (in case of surprise) Linfield – Spartak Trnava I´m going to repeat myself – it´s not a good idea to back Trnava in these days. They simply haven´t convinced me so far in this season, so from betting point of view, I have to play against them tonight. Trnava has to create new CDs pair for tonight, because both Godal and Nikolic are not available tonight. Godal played on Sunday with Bortel and they conceded 4 goals .. now Godal is out and there has to be someone from the bench. It doesn´t mean that he will show horrible performance, of course, but having these kinds of problems doesn´t give much confidence in their performance. I don´t rate Linfield as a high quality team with obligation to beat Trnava, but Trnava´s current situation gives them chances and it´s up to them how they will deal with it. If I have to make a bet today, it´s Linfield to qualify, because they brought a good result from 1st leg and I think that odds represent some value. Linfield to qualify @4.00 Unibet – small stake

  9. Steaua - AS Trencin Due to lack of time my message will be short but pretty clear I hope. I´m not sure that Trencin really deserved to lose 0-2 at home which may look like they must have been much worse when lost by 2 goals at home. It´s obvious that this is mission impossible to win by 2 goals in Bucharest, but I like their attitude and they are not giving up. They need to attack in this game and to be honest I really fancy them to score a goal tonight, but Steaua will do the same by exploiting their open defence. Both teams will score tonight and Steaua probably more (I wish it´s wrong) so goals will be my bet today. Both teams to score + over 2,5 @2.75 Bet365
Steaua - AS Trencin 2-3 WON Well, what a performance by Trencin, they almost did it! I correctly predicted goals but wrongly expected the final result. Anyway, I´m not exactly happy because Trencin is out

Dun. Streda vs. Senica is really unpredictable game at the moment, with both teams having high ambitions but I expect them to be mid-table teams this season. I expect Dunajská Streda to be a solid home team due to their fan support and if they win tomorrow I wouldn´t be surprised. I think that Senica lost a few players during the summer and I can´t find adequate substitutes, but as I said, this is impossible to predict. Ruzomberok vs. Skalica is the game that might produce some goals, probably combined with home win. Skalica is newly promoted squad, for me a big suprise of last season in Second division, and I see their enthusiasm. That might result in offensive style of play tomorrow but that´s also the style that Ružomberok wants to show this season, so there might be a few goals. But once again, no bet for me. However, I´m going to make a one bet on Saturday, because I think it´s a must. Michalovce, another newly promoted team, is playing against current Slovak champion, AS Tren?ín. As you might know, Tren?ín just lost on Tuesday at home against Steaua Bucharest 0-2, and that is obviously my reason why to bet against them tomorrow. I can´t imagine that they are focused on this league game at the moment, with 2nd leg coming in a few days and if I consider their mentality - never give up - and they hadn´t and they still believe in winning by 2 goals in Bucharest, tomorrow´s game doesn´t have much importance. Playing in Michalovce means playing on the other side of the country, and even if I don´t know the way how they travelled there, it doesn´t really help you with your mind being in the Champions league. As I said, home team is newly promoted, they must be really excited about this game - first round, at home, against current champion! Michalovce DNB @3.83 Tipsport
Michalovce 0-1 Trencin LOST Michalovce played a solid game, hit the post twice and unfortunately conceded a gol 5 minutes before full time. Their performance was promising, they might be able to win games like this in the future.

  13. My preview of games involving Slovak teams: Dacia Chisinau – MŠK Žilina 1-2 Žilina DNB @1.80 Coral – high stakes WON Žilina to win @2.55 1xbet – medium stakes WON Slovan Bratislava – UC Dublin 1-0 Slovan Bratislava -2,5 @1.91 – high stakes LOST Spartak Trnava – Linfield 2-1 Linfield +1,5 @1.93 Tempobet – medium stakes WON Linfield double chance @3.65 myBet – small stakes LOST
I´m very happy that Žilina met my expectations and brought a great result from Chisinau, which gives them a big chance to make it to the next round. Slovan was a one big disappointment. They received a very stupid red card in the first half and then were desperately trying to find the net, but 1-0 is ridiculous. Trnava´s game went like I expected and it was more tight than bookies expected. Trnava also received a red card in the first half, which increased the chance of scoring the second goal by Linfield but they didn´t manage to.I think that Trnava will have a very difficult time in the 2nd leg and even if I don´t want them to be kicked out of competition, from the betting side of view I will be probably on Linfield next week.
  14. My preview of games involving Slovak teams: Dacia Chisinau – MŠK Žilina After 6 years, these two clubs are meeting once again in 2nd qualifying round of EL. Back then Žilina won 3-0 on agg and they are my favourites again. I don´t have enough knowledge of Dacia´s current situation, so any info would be much appreciated. Žilina and Tren?ín, who unfortunately failed in first game against Steaua on Tuesday, are playing best football at the moment in Slovakia, and with Tren?ín being almoust out of Europe, Žilina is my favourite to be the best Slovak club in European competitions this year. I really like the work which is Adrian Gula (coach of Žilina, former coach of Tren?ín) doing in there and this squad is very very promising in my opinion. They lacked experience a little bit last season, which may be the reason that they didn´t manage to win the Slovak league and were eliminated by Rijeka in 3rd QR of EL. But it shouldln´t be the same thing this year. It is almost the same squad, more experienced, stronger and strong enough to make it to the group stage in my opinion. I think that they did a good job in 1st round against Glentoran (4-1 away + 3-0 home) and they have all the skills to make a good result in Chisinau tonight. Žilina plays offensive football but it is 1st leg and I don´t like backing overs here, so as long as I think that Žilina won´t lose there, DNB might be a good option. Žilina DNB @1.80 Coral – high stakes Žilina to win @2.55 1xbet – medium stakes Slovan Bratislava – UC Dublin It seems that Slovan is getting better and better these days and they have finally found the way how they want to play. Last year were eliminated by BATE in Playoff round of CL, but their performance in group stage of EL was a big disaster (0 points, 1 goals scored) and Slovan was suddenly in the crisis. But now it looks to me as a little bit different story and with new summer signings – experienced goalkeeper Mucha or Hungarian striker Priskin – they must have the highest ambitions. It is true that today the miss offensive players like Meszaros or Soumah, but I´m sure that Slovan´s squad is large enough to adequately substitute these guys. They managed to score 6 goals away from home at Gibraltar, adding only 3 more in 2nd leg at home, probably because of lack of concentration or saving the energy. According to their manager, Slovan is happy to play against UCD because of their good record against teams from Ireland or teams with similar style. UCD made it surprisingly to the 2nd round through Dudelange and it seems (at least statistics say that) that they were really lucky to make it in the 2nd leg, facing 1 red card, 9 corner and 14 shots on the target. I have no intention to understimate them but I think that Slovan is capable of scoring 3 and more goals today, simply to decide to it before travelling to Dublin. Slovan Bratislava -2,5 @1.91 – high stakes Spartak Trnava – Linfield I think that this is the most difficult game of all these three matches involving Slovak clubs. Despite being a huge favourite, I wouldn´t put any single euro on Trnava today. Not only because their win at 1.36 doesn´t represent any value, but I simply don´t trust them these days and we might see a little surprise today. Home side didn´t impress me in the last round against Olimpik Sarajevo and were quite lucky to go through on away goals. Trnava´s finishing was horrible and their goalkepeer saved one-on-one in 87th minute (otherwise they would be probably out of competition). During the weekend Trnava also sold Jan Vlasko, one of the key men in the squad in my opinion, to Zaglebie Lubin, and despite buying Aldo Baez (from Slavia Prague), he wouldn´t be immediately a sufficient substitute. What is more, it seems that Trnava´s supporters (the best in Slovakia btw) don´t stand behind their coach anymore and they require some changes. So it might be very interesting to see if their support is going to weaken or not in next games, unfortunately I don´t know more information. I´m fully aware that Linfield is semi-professional club and there is quite big gap in quality between these two sides, but if I consider how many favourites (odds about 1.20) failed on Tuesday or Wednesaday (Ludogorets, Malmo, Dinamo Zagreb ..), I will be looking for a surprise tonight. Linfield +1,5 @1.93 Tempobet – medium stakes Linfield double chance @3.65 myBet – small stakes GOOD LUCK!!:hope

  15. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Saturday November 15th Macedonia - Slovakia After winning all three matches we have a wonderful opportunity to make another step towards the Euro, and some of the circumstances may play in our favour. One of the best macedonian players Ibraimi was ruled out for this game a couple of days ago and today boty defender Georgievski and striker Jahovic were sent out from the squad because of conflict at the training. Honestly, I dont know much about their importance for home squad but it is not good news for Macedonia anyway. On the other hand, our squad seems to be fit and prepared, even that we heard about some problems of Mak and Hamsik, both should be ok. Personally, I expect a defensive approach from home side which will be tough to break and I think that we wouldnt be extremely offensive as well. So that given I dont expect many goals and I am seriously consider our win with smallest possible margin. Sorry for Simple post, not comfortable with long post mobile writing. Good luck! Slovakia to win by 1 goal - @3.65 - Marathonbet

  16. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Sunday October 12th Belarus - Slovakia - over 2 goals @1.95 188BET Well, really? I can´t help myself, I just think that this is so generous that I can´t resist from taking this bet tonight. I know that when you look at this game, goals may not be the first thing you think of. But I will tell you that is worth to consider, especially when you have such a price. Firstly, Belarusian coach Georgi Kondratiev said it pretty clear at his yesterday´s press conference - this is the last chance for his team to get back in a race for EURO spot, and he is prepared to retire from his position if he´s not successful. Were he talking about getting a point against a current leader of group? No! The only thing the belarusian team is thinking of today is how to get a win, and I´m sure they will go for it since the first minute. On the other hand, we are coming to Belarus as a surprising leader of the group, beating both Ukraine and Spain. We started the qualification battle perfectly but it doesn´t mean anything if we don´t take another 3 points today. I´m sure that coach Kozák is keeping players´ confidence at proper level, but all members of the team (including coach) are also crystal clear in their announcements - the only acceptable result is a victory. What do I want to tell you? We are going to see a game between two sides, who wouldn´t be satisfied if they are not winning. Once Slovakia or Belarus scores a goal, the other team is going to open the game as much as they can and then we can see crazy game in my opinion. All in all, this is the only reasonable bet in my opinion, because I´m not confident enough to take play 1X2 market for example. I believe that we can win in Belarus tonight, but this is really different game in comparison to the first two rounds. Now it´s a game where we are the favourite and we have to create, so I´m really curious how is this team going to cope with this kind of situation. Anyway, I see a possibility of some goals here. Good luck!:hope

  17. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Thursday October 9th

Slovakia - Spain After a great win in the first round in Ukraine, our national team is preparing for the biggest match of the group, the home game against Spain. Even that we won against Ukraine as quite big underdogs, our situation is still the same and Spain is deservedly considered as a big favourite in this one. The match against Ukraine gave us "healthy confidence" (as we call it here), and I´m not worried about not keeping the feets on the ground. I´m very happy that Ján Kozák became our national coach one year ago, despite the fact that he used to be very controvensial, he knows something very well - he doesn´t let the players feel as world champions after one successful game (which used to happen often in the past). It´s useless to compare our depth or quality of the squad with spanish one, because the difference is well-known. I just want to point to some areas where we might be stronger as we were in the past. Firstly, if we are capable of repeating our last performance, spanish players might find it more difficult to beat our defence. All 4 defenders played fantastic game in Ukraine, doubled by great goalkeeper Kozá?ik. Liverpool´s Martin Škrtel missed this game due to suspension, but he is back for tonight, and even that he is quite irregular in my opinion, it definitely gives us more strength in the defence. That might raise a question about who will be our 2 CDs, because both ?urica and Gyombér showed quality in Ukraine. Honestly, I´m quite sure that Škrtel will play alongside ?urica, but I would be positively surprised if Kozák uses Gyombér as a defenisive midfielder, maybe instead of Pe?ovský. In the ofensive part of our game, we always had difficulties and even that in my opinion our situation is better, difficulties with finding a productive goalscorer aren´t over yet. The best potential might be in Róbert Mak, currently the best goalscorer of greek Super League, scoring 4 goals in 5 games. It´s not breathtaking fact, but definitely the promising one. We also depend on Marek Hamšík´s performance, who many times failed to show his real quality in the matches of national team. Exactly one week ago he did it on Slovak ground, in Bratislava, but in the shirt of Napoli when beating Slovan 2-0. He scored the first one and assisted to Higuain in the second one. Both Mak and Hamšík suffered from a fever in the last days, but both took part in the last training, so I honestly believe that they are ready for today´s game. All in all, Spain is a huge favourite in this game, despite that I mentioned some positives about our national team. From my point of view, it would be very difficult to achieve a good result today, it can only happen if we repeat our performance in Ukraine and add something more as well. I feel that we are stronger and more organized in the defence at the moment, but I would be very surprised if Spain doesn´t score a goal, given a huge quality they have. So the only bet I might take today, is BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE, because I think that we have the required quality to score one, and it´s also time to show that we might not be that underish, impotent team as we used to be, for example in tha last qualification cycle. Odds on BTTS are going up, so I´m very happy to take it @2.38 at Bet365 !! good luck!:hope
Slovakia 2-1 Spain :nana Well, my intention to back BTTS was correct, but to be very honest, I didn´t expect such a great result tonight, I still can´t believe. But I hope that at least some of you found an inspiration in BTTS bet ;)

  19. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Slovan Bratislava - SSC Napoli - Both teams to score @2.00 NordicBet Slovan Bratislava is totally out of form, playing worse and worse with team morale far from heaven. Today they play at home against Napoli, and I consider this as a great (maybe last as well) opportunity to show that they are better than they showed in recent games. Slovan has squad full of well-known players on Slovak football stadiums and they would be stars in any other Slovak club. Unfortunately, they don´t play like a team and that costs them a lot. Honestly, I don´t think that they can grab a point today, but I expect offensive approach. As I said, Slovan is in crisis but when will be better opportunity to turn thigs around, if not today? Napoli´s captain Marek Hamsik, big star of Slovak football, is former Slovan player, and that must be also big motivation. And obivously, more than ordinary game for Marek Hamsik, who will be motivated more than in other matches. All in all, it´s a little bit risky to expect that Slovan will score against one of the best Italian clubs, but I have a feeling that this could be a day when Slovan supporters and members of the club will see a light at the end of tunnel, right after promising performance against Napoli, given by players motivated by such a big day of their careers.

  20. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday September 18th YB Bern - Slovan Bratislava - YB Bern to win @1.83 Tempobet I don´t know much about the home side, but I don´t believe that current Slovak champion is able to take something from this game. They haven´t impressed me yet in this season and I can´t see reason why they should make a surprise tonight. Slovan is without striker Vittek, who is going to have a surgery in USA, creative playmaker Soumah is suspended, defender Jablonsky is out and midfielder Milinkovic is doubtful (imho quite important player in Slovan). I have to admit that they still have some good players in their squad, but this squad can scare only other Slovak clubs. They lost 3-0 at Zilina during the weekend, which must be a big blow to their confidence, getting beaten by so young Zilina players, even if they are actually on the top of table. I simply consider Slovan as a very poor traveller, so when I also count with the artificial ground in Bern, which Slovan is not used to, the home team is definitely my pick. good luck!:ok

  21. Re: Club Friendlies 2014

Brilliant' date=' was going to write about this match yesterday, but the only backable market that was up was Over 2.5 goals @ 1.44, and those odds were not appealing to me. I think that handicap line at -1.5 is great considering Pinatar's league position last year and the number of leagues between these two teams. Surely the gulf in class should show in this match and I think saying that Pinatar have lost their last 13 games in a row in their league last season says it all! Sorry I wasn't of much help in regards to your question.[/quote'] Marathonbet has this game written as "Pinatas vs Real Murcia Imperial", and Real Murcia Imperial is the reserve team of Real Murcia, playing also somewhere in the "tercera group" as Pinatar. So who is really playing? Real Murcia or their reserve team?
  22. Re: Group D: Italy vs Uruguay > Tues 24th June 1st half - DRAW @2.16 Pinnacle Goal scored between 76-90 @2.15 Marathon I think that it might have a similar course as two games from yesterday - Chile´s and Croatia´s games. We have one team which will be satisfied with draw, and the second which really need to win. Because of that, I expect Italy´s approch to be very patient, sitting back and maybe waiting for some counter-attack. Uruguay is the team who is going to play football and create but they are gonna have some difficulties to break Italy´s defence, so draw in the first half seems fine. And then, when the time is running against them, they have to open the game which also opens a lot of space for Italy, so we are likely to see something similar as in Croatia vs. Mexico game. No matter which team is going to score, I´m sure that one of them will be made to open game in last minutes, so that gives me a confidence about at least one goal score within last 15 minutes.

  23. Re: Slovakia > Corgon League > 2013-14 We are going to see a midweek round (32nd of 33) and there are only two games which are worth to mention. Both games are being played on Tuesday 20.5. at 17.30 CET. Slovan Bratislava - Nitra The game between first and last team in the table and plenty of possible outcomes, at least from my point of view. I think it´s very important to mention that both teams have very good relationship as we can see Slovan sending young players to play for Nitra and getting some experience. I think it´s useful fact as long as we consider my scenario (mentioned in post about previouse round) to be a little bit true. Nitra needs at least a point more than everything and we can see that Slovan was lacking motivation in the last rounds which caused unexpected losses even at home. In this game, they also have no motivation to win. And in addition to that, I´m pretty sure that if Slovan bosses want to continue in sending young players to get some experience in Nitra´s shirt, they want to see them play in first and not in the second league. Nitra or draw - @2.85 Oddsring Nitra DNB - @5.25 BetVictor EDIT: The second game is obviously match between Dunajská Streda and Trnava. Personally, I think that Trnava will be more determined to win than they were in game against Nitra (we could see their 3-0 loss). ON the other hand, Dunajská is very strong at home and even if I believe that Trnava is able to give a great performance, I´m little bit careful in this one and it seems quite risky to bet on Trnava. Anyway, the price on them is good, so with smaller stake it´s worth to try.
