Clash between Spartak Myjava and AS Trenčín won´t be played in Myjava (unavailable pitch - a lot of snow) but in Trenčín!!!! As you can see here - http://www.oddsportal.com/soccer/slovakia/corgon-liga-2012-2013/dukla-trencin-myjava-1353115/ - odds on Trenčín are too high in my opinion (don´t know if bookies didn´t notice that it will be played in Trenčín, or they have already started responding with dropping the odds, but very slow IMO). Home side is @1.95 at Bwin, which seems to me as a good and real number, but 2.20 at bet365 for examaple, looks a little bit high and definitely worth to take immediately. But to be honest, I would take Trenčín at the weekend too, without seeing them too high. I simply think that this one could be nice home victory. They play well at home (more used to their artificial pitch), always try to play entertaining attacking game, and I don´t pay big attention to their loss of top goalscorer David Depetris - he was special, but I think they are able to replace him. I also think that Trenčín impressed more than Myjava in friendly games during the winter. They played with stronger opponents and reached some good results. Most of Myjava games were against local teams, and results aren´t breathtaking. Myjava also lost their best goalscorer, whose loan came to the end. All in all, both teams lost few players from starting line-up, but I am sure that Trenčín is better prepared to replace them.

Nitra is still having some serious problem, which are about future of their owners, who announced that after last autumn round are going to end in this club, and if anyone new appears, it might end professional football in Nitra :(. But it seems that it doesn´t affect players on the pitch, who are still doing their jobs without crying about future. After some very bad results Nitra changed their coach, Jurkemik was sacked, and Vukusic came. They changed their playing style, what is one of the my main arguments for this bet. He changed the formation to 4-3-3 and as one of the strikers Mikus said after last match (home win against Presov 4-1), they were told to play more offensively and creative, so play football which is entertaining supporters. As you could see, change was really done, Nitra scored against Presov 4 times, what was unexpectable. As I said, Kosice are still unbeaten at home, they have also scored in every home match, so they are obviously favourites in this match, and I´m not gonna touch 1X2 market. But tonight it´s a clash between 2 clubs, who want to play football. I´m sure that Nitra won´t park the bus or something like that, and they will really want to make something creative in this match. All in all, in their poor situation, they don´t have many choices. I am not here to write novels, so I will end this with one sentence - meeting between two teams with offensive styles, between two teams who wants to play football and not defend the draw = more than 2 goals are very likely with these circumstances. So I will try to play against them tonight with small stakes, but not just because of this little interesting fact, but also due to the strength of their opponent. Trenčín is one of the better teams in our league, they were known to play well just at home, but they also improved their football away from home. They didn´t loss last 3 away matches, they didn´t concede any single goal in last 3 league meetings, and they are really on fire after damaging Spartak Trnava 6-0 in last round. I´m definitely going to back Napoli tonight. They know that it´s right time to give some focus on this competition, if they don´t want to end after group stage, and I´m sure they don´t. It seems that we will really see stronger lineup than in previous matches. I also read some interview with Marek Hamsik in local newspaper, where he confirmed that they just think about beating Dnipro at home and they will give their best (yeah I know, they say it always, but ..). Another reason for my bet is that guests may not will give their best, as Fedar mentioned, because they know that they have home match against AIK to confirm qualification to next phase. Maybe they just tried it with second team as many times as possible, and when good opportunity comes, they try it with stronger line-up. I think the time has come. All in all, lineups will tell us more, so it is just speculation so far, but I still think that Napoli will be a little bit more focused on this match than in previous rounds.

Re: WC > European Qualifiers - October 16th I usually avoid betting on my country, and I think today will not be different, so just my thoughts about tonight clash between Slovakia and Greece. Our team is seen as underish, but there were many of you as I could see in previous thread, who weren´t successful with under bet on match against Latvia at Friday. You weren´t far, Latvia scored a goal from penalty in last minutes, but after 2 quick goals which wasn´t expected, there was plenty of time to score other goals. We didn´t stop attacking even with 2 goal lead (which makes me happy), we created chances, but there was big lack of concetration in finishing these chances. What I want to say? Just that with coaches Griga and Hipp on the bench, under may not be the most tempting bet in these kind of matches. Today is for me really unpredictable. There are rumours from the press conference that we just want to keep our unbeatable run, and also draw would be acceptable result. So I wouldn´t be surprised if we take a little bit more careful approach that is expected. Heavy rain is expected whole day in Bratislava, also during the match, so today it might be less about football and more about fighting in the water .. both Skrtel and Weiss, who were injured in last game against Latvia are fit and ready to play tonight. As I said, I do not make bets when my feelings are involved, but I think we are able to not to lose against Greece and continue in qualification without lose. No doubts that Kosice are very tough to beat at their home pitch, what also shows their home record for this season - 4-1-0 and 8:2 score. Both best Slovak clubs - Zilina and Slovan - hadn´t managed to get 3 points here, Slovan lost 1-0 and Zilina took 1 point after 1-1 draw last week. Kosice occasionally take points from away to home, but their home results are enough to guarantee them comfortable middle of the table. Kuzma and Karas are unavailable for home coach Kozak tonight, but what is important, striker Novak should be back (he couldn´t play last week against Zilina because of agreement between these 2 clubs). Everyone who is at least a little bit involved in slovak football knows about Trnava´s situation this season. They started very very badly, then finally managed to get three points in Nitra, they confirmed them at home against Bystrica, but then lost in Presov 2-1 where they weren´t able to use the fact that Presov´s player was sent off in 48th minute. Trnava´s coach Hoftych is not far from being sacked, every match might be his last on the bench. He also should be worried about his list of absences for today´s clash in Kosice - both important Bicak and Karhan are still doubtful, Schranz and Koubsky are long-term, but they also couldn´t count on 2 players from lineup against Presov - defender Cvirik and one of the best Trnava´s player (IMO) this season, offensive midfielder/attacker Mikovic (both have stop due to yellow cards). All in all, odds on Kosice are too high in my opinion. They have better position in the table, very nice home record, less unavailable or doubtful players. Real under Mourinho plays with precisive defence at away from home in CL, and now, when they have sunday´s El Clasico in their minds, I expect that they will want to just win and don´t make themselves any problems. It means that we just score 1 or 2 goals in their net and we will focus on defence. I think it´s not impossible, I also see more time on the pitch for players like Essien, Callejon, Varane or probably Morata, but even with the whole bench, Real is much more stronger than Ajax at the moment ..

Odds are dropping, some bookies were starting with 2.30 for -0,75AH, and now they are under 2.00. All facts stand by home team. After 14 rounds of Czech league, Plzen is at first place of the table with 10 wins, playing really well. They also managed to beat 3 different opponents in qualification rounds of EL (Rustavi, Ruch Chorzow, Lokeren). It´s important to say that, because if we look at Academica, they have already played just 5 competitive matches (without single win), and that is big difference in comparison with Plzen. Academica is in european cups after long 41 years, they ended at 13th position in league, but they had managed to win Portuguese Cup which qualified them for the EL. They simply lack experience from these kind of matches, what may be another disadvantage against Plzen, which had played in group stage of CL last season! And it´s another story that they played pretty well, especially at home .. so another advantage - home pitch! Plzen build new stadium which is sold for tonight´s match at the moment. If we look at their home european matches last season, there is just one loss against Barcelona (after stupid red card), pretty solid draws against Schalke 04 or AC Milan. So I really wouldn´t back their opponents at Plzen´s pitch. Home side know that Academica is definitely the easiest opponent in this group containing Atletico Madrid and Hapoel, so this three points are must, if they want to reach their goal - promotion to next round. FC Nitra was banned for next 2 matches (today against Slovan and cup midweek against Myjava), which means, that they have already lost them. But according to some rule, match has to be played, but if Nitra wins, they don´t get 3 points (it also means, that Slovan don´t get anything if he losses - but if he wins or draws, he normally gets his points - Nitra NO!). It´s punishment for Nitra after last round clash against Trnava, where Nitra was given 3 red cards etc. .. Nitra will be also 6 months without their best player Soumah, so their next performancec will be a little bit infulenced in my opinion. All in all, Nitra doesn´t agree with this punishment, so nobody know what is gonna happen today. They might won´t travel to Bratislava, they might send there their U19 team, they might send there their veterans (:lol) or might send there their all available first team players and try to win .. it´s better to skip this match tonight. I hope I explained correctly :)

MSK Zilina - FC Nitra - both to score @2.20 bwin I think that it is really worth to try at these odds. Today we have 2nd round of Slovak Cup (Slovnaft Cup), there is nothing very interesting at all, so I have just 2-3 sentences .. Petrzalka vs. Nitra - Home side is average 3rd division club so I don´t understand why is Nitra priced at 1.67 at Bet365, I think it´s quite high. 2 weeks ago I was watching Petrzalka´s match in city nearby, they lost 3-0, and they were really poor. 2-0-2 are their results in the table so far, so as I said, average team, so I don´t see any chance to get something from this match against first division side, who play quite well this season. Nitra is 5th position, in last match destroyed Kosice at home pitch 4-1 (even without captain who were sent off in 30th minute), they play in really good form. It´s possible that they will rest some players tonight, but Nitra know about importance of Slovak Cup - it´s definitely the easiest way to the Europe!! Cup matches are unpredictable, but I back Nitra tonight .. A little bit interesting thing - Nemsova vs. Trencin - again match between 1st and 3rd division team, Trencin is about 1.20 at bookies. But what is interesting, Nemsova is unofficial reserve squad of Trencin, so I couldn´t imagine that they will want to beat them! Cooperation with Trencin has many advantages, so they wouldn´t want to destroy it with some kind of aggresive and attacking football tonight. Trencin´s players are very good motivated financialy in Slovak Cup, so they are fully motivated. Anderlecht had done all the needed work in first round, and now they can relax. As someone mentioned, they travel to Lithuania without many key players, so their strategy is just play 90 minutes without unnecessary fouls, injuries etc. Ekranas doesn´t have enough quality to destroy Anderlecht, even without Anderlecht´s key players. I think that it isn´t unusual, when after big home win comes boring underish 2nd leg ...

Right, despite being a fan of Nitra, I really didn´t expect that we could win there, and win with a clean sheet! Lost money, but seeing your favourite team winning, it´s okay :) Hope that next weekend will bring money too

Home side, just promoted to the Corgon League, is full of enthusiasm, especially after last round draw in Trnava. In the second round, at home pitch, they played 2-2 against Zlate Moravce but had lost 2-goal lead. After the match, their coach mentioned that they lost it not due to inexperience or something like that, but it was mainly because they were still trying to attack what was contra-productive in the end of the match. All in all, they are used to order speed of the game, they are used to play offensively - it´s the way how they played in lower divisions, because they were better than their opponents. And nothing could change in 2 weeks, so I expect another offensive game by home side tomorrow. When we look at their opponents, it´s young talented squad, not with high ambitions, they just want to play their football. And they won´t definitely sit at the back tomorrow. After heavy lost in first round (5-0 in Trencin), they managed to get a draw at home, and won 2-0 in Zlate Moravce last week, what could boost their team spirit a lot (because they won local derby). Nitra was brilliant away from home in last season, scored in many games (don´t have enough time to tell you exact numbers, but they had cca 14 games in a row when they scored at least 1 goal away). All in all, both teams want to play, both teams have creative and talented offensive players, and I don´t have big belief in their defences. Over 2,5 is offered @2.11 what is not bad, but I could see it as a 1-1 draw too, so this is safer option. Good luck!:hope

Italy is probably out of the tournament just when they lose today´s clash.
