  1. Right haven't had much interest in the tennis from a betting point of view but am taking these 4 today, maybe my last 4 depending on how bad my A level results are tomorrow :( Falla vs Kohlschreiber, Falla+3.5 game handicap- 4/5 Bet365- 6/10 Interesting match this one, as it is likely to come down to how Kohl is feeling and if he really wants to win some matches. Falla had a comfortable win over the unreliable and always injured Monfils yesterday whilst the German needed 3 sets to overcome Zeballos. Watched the German in action over in Toronto last week and I was astounded to see him throwing in unforced errors on such a regular basis. His one handed backhand looked incredibly ugly and at times, was wild. Strange that he underperforms against the so called lower players but when up against opponents such as Nadal, takes a set, some weird mental thing IMO. Falla has had a couple of decent wins over Clement and Monfils so he won't be fear facing the German. Debated over the handicap or the overs on this one but just feel Falla win make this handicap. Nadal vs Dent, over 18.5 games- 4/6 Bet365- 5/10 Thought the line would be one higher for this match so very happy to take the overs here. Nadal at times last week showed some promise but at others looked quite ordinary from his high standards. What really struck me was that he smiled when Murray had match point which I'd never seen from the Spaniard, who to me always looks so focussed and a real desire to win. His opponent hasn't played too badly recently either. Easily beat Lopez in truth although Lopez played like a complete fool tbh. With Dent's strong serving, fancy him to hold at least 7 games and perhaps break Nadal once early on to ensure the overs. Benneteau vs Wawrinka, over 22.5 games- Evens Bet365- 4/10 Just screams evens to me really. Rarely see Benny involved in a straight set match against an opponent who is fairly similiar in quality. A good win over his doubles partner Llodra yesterday whilst Wawrinka beat Almagro. The Suisse has had an extra day off and will be the fresher of the two players but Benny isn't that bad on fitness himself. Decent odds for this one and feel a tie break and a 3 setter isn't to be ruled out. Petrova to beat Safina- 4/6 Ladbrokes- 6/10 Was looking to oppose whoever Safina played after her long term injury and fitness concerns, echoed by her performance against Petkovic. The scoreline and the actual matchplay are completely contrasting. If I recall correctly she was 3-0 down in the first before the German started to play wildly. Safina's serve was slow and the second serve was thrown up like a treat for her opponent. Even towards the end Petkovic started to stage a comeback with the Russian making yet more unforced errors but managed to get over the line. Petrova is a better player though and Safina will struggle. She came through in 3 yesterday against Lucie Safarova who isn't a bad player herself. She leads the H2H 5-1, with 3 wins coming on hard court although Safina did win the last hard court encounter easily. Only worry would be is that Petrova's hard court form has been sketchy recently, losing to the upcoming talent of McHale whom she retired against and lost before that to Shvedova. Hopefully she can put a run together though and take this one.

Some matches are made for watching. This is one of them. Got back on the winning trail with Murray last night so will wait for Cincy.
Probably the right stance to take on the match, however I couldn't resist taking the +1.5 on Murray @ 8/11. Depending on the set scores, could easily take care of a 3 setter and judging by the performance yesterday, Murray looked back to his best of a year ago. May even take Murray in play as well depending on how it goes.

Also one last one from me. Robredo vs Nalbandian Under 20.5 games- Evens Bet365- 5/10 General thoughts are that Nalbandian should win this one in straight after his good form last week. His wins were mostly in 2 sets covering this margin and against a clay-courter like Robredo, it should be a similiar outcome. Alternatively, if I've read it all wrong and the fatigue hits the Argentinian, could equally be a quick match for Robredo but either way, feel this is a decent price to take the unders at.
Comfortable in the end really, too much power and class for the Spaniard to handle here.

I really wanted to back Murray to cover the -4.5 game handicap and the unders but I can't. He's just not trustworthy enough at this moment in time. He still gets broken too easily and recently has been even returning poorly. The frustrating thing is that he's by far and away the better player. Malisse has been doing well picking off what I call "low hanging fruit" but he's fallen short against better players' date=' with the exception of Berdych. If Murray was even slightly better form I'd bite but I'd be going against my betting principles if I was to do so.[/quote'] Yeah also decided to opt against it in the end. If he wins well today, will look to back him in next round as usually if he wins a match well, he does seem to improve further.

You kidding? Chardy made my day yesterday!!
Haha well saw that some struggled but obviously not you ;). So far followed a couple of people and taken handicaps of +2.5 on De Bakker and -1.5 on Troicki after reading previews and such. Just having a proper look at the Youz match now.
  7. Re: Tennis: 26 July - 1 August Nothing to me that represents value today although Krumm at 7/2 looks too big but not fussed with going for that. That Peer bet was the last one before I'm off on holiday so leaving you guys to make some money. Hope Peer can get a run going but she had to fight very hard yesterday to come back from that first set. Looking forward to relaxing for a bit without the stress of my chokers. :ok

Not sure if I'm going to do anything else, doubt it but feel I have to take this one. Shahar Peer to beat Daniele Hantuchova- 8/11 William Hill- 7/10 Already backed her to win it outright largely based on her hard court form this season. She hasn't got the easiest run in unlike sam Stosur, but I feel she has the game to match anyone on her day. She has recently parted with her coach which can only be a good thing as he forced her to play a way in which she was uncomfortable and unfamiliar, hitting agressive strokes which really doesn't suit her one bit. Both players haven't played since Wimbledon so they should both be fairly fresh, perhaps Peer in a little better shape due to Daniele's fitness worries over the last couple of years. The H2H stands at 2-1 to Hantuchova, but on hard court it's 1-1, with Peer winning the most recent in straight sets last year. Shahar imo is the most likely on the tour to beat the Williams sisters on a more consistent basis and firmly believe she is not too far behind them. Think she will have too much today for the Slovak and Daniele will have to play out of her skin to get anywhere near the Israeli.
WIN Really not good for my nerves that one, especially after she lost the first set 6-0. Managed to take it in 3 though. :beer

i´m officially going with the handicap, good luck with the 2-0! Hope he wins something like 6/3 6/3 and everybody will be happy! LOL :hope
Just had a look at both of the players' form this year and not opting for the 2-0. Think the safest bet would be Cuevas to win straight but no point at those odds. Just be looking at it with interest for your bet mate. :ok
