  1. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 Agree with Atko that today looks tricky to call in places, but I have tried to find some value and taken 3 in total. Marin Cilic vs Andy Murray- Murray -4.5 handicap- 11/10 Bet365- (4/10) Know what I said yesterday about the handicaps with Murray and I may be a complete idiot for backing him with an even bigger handicap today as it goes completely against what I said, but there's a couple of reasons I think he'll cover it today. Know Cilic picked up a knock yesterday in his match with Bellucci, and although he came through it in the end, image he'll be quite sore today and that's the one thing you can't afford to be against Murray. He'll force Cilic around the court and it he isn't fully fit, he will struggle for the majority of the lengthy rallies. Still don't have any confidence in his serve either. Against Clement it was good in parts, but awful in others, and it didn't improve too much against the Brazilian yesterday, serving only 3 aces with 5 double faults. He'll need plenty of 1st serves in against Murray to pick up cheap points and if he serves like he has done this week, Murray will pick him off. I haven't been utterly convinced with Murray this week, and he has never had it easy at all against Cilic in their matches but given Cilic's erratic nature this week, Murray will be a big step up for him and I secretly fancy the Scot to win this with ease in the end so God help me, I'll back him with the handicap. Rafael Nadal vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga- Tsonga +3.5 handicap- Evens Bet365- (4/10) Rafael Nadal vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga- Tsonga to win- 11/4 Ladbrokes- (3/10) Not often I go against Rafa in any tournament but I'm going against him for the second time this week. Nobody can say the Spaniard is completely fit, nor can they say he is playing particularly well. Yesterday against Stepanek he looked to be suffering from fatigue, especially in that third set where his shots were loose, and he was making tons of unforced errors. 16 break points on serve he faced and he was lucky I thought that Stepanek couldn't pick up many cheap points on serve otherwise Rafa would have been in all sorts of trouble. Tsonga on the other hand will pick up these cheap points, and he'll be fresh as anything as Llodra retired yesterday. He looked in good shape against Berrer in his first match, and although it wasn't a massive test for him, he looked to settle on the grass well enough and looked comfortable throughout. He has already beaten Nadal once before when they've played, back in the Australian Open in 2008, and he has run Nadal close on a few other ocassions so he clearly has the game to trouble the Spaniard. Nadal for some reason also played doubles last night after his match with Stepanek, so no way he'll be at his best today after a late finish last night. Tsonga won't roll over today just because it's Nadal, and he will hit through the ball with power and I secretly fancy him to repeat what Lopez did last year at this stage in beating Rafa. Tsonga will get chances on Nadal's serve and if he serves well, you can't rule him out in this one. Taken the handicap as insurance for Tsonga in case he falls just short, but taken the outright win at a one ball bookie just in case Nadal retires which I doubt, but given how much he has played recently is a slight poissibility. Tsonga will be right up for this one and I feel the Frenchman has a chance with Nadal not at his best so I'll hope he pulls through.

  2. Re: Cricket: Friends Life t20 Yeah really don't understand the prepared wicket. Even Rob White when he was talking on the mic found it hard to not criticize the pitch. Even so, alot of the Northants bowling was a pile of toffy. Durham covered their overs, Northants didn't and Wakely fell cheaply along with the Northants' top order disregarding White. Could have been a lot worse if Blackwell skied the ball to a fielder on 21 but luckily it landed safe. Would have literally :wall if he got out on the same score as White. -2.33 today though, giving me -3.83 overall. Hopefully tomorrow can be a good day in the forum after a couple of indifferent ones. Unlucky on that Worcestershire result Kev, didn't know about that run speculation but if that is the case, sure the luck will even itself out and get you some profit sometime in the season.

  3. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

Had another look at taken a further 3 for the action in Queen's. Regret not taking Verdasco at evens last night, but now he's odds on, it's too short to back the Spaniard in my opinion. Janko Tipsarevic vs Andy Murray- Murray -3.5 handicap- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (5/10)- LOSS Rafael Nadal vs Radek Stepanek- Nadal -4.5 handicap- 8/11 Ladbrokes- (4/10)- WIN Marin Cilic vs Tomaz Bellucci- Cilic -3.5 handicap- Evens Ladbrokes- (4/10)- LOSS
Murray was just incredibly frustrating to watch given I had him on the handicap. Had 0-30 to cover the handicap but needed a tie break in the end. Nadal looked ropey towards the end of the second set and generally on serve but got the job done. Hate to think what Cilic was doing in that second set. Hope Murray creams him now, just don't the Marin sometimes. The overs in the Monfils/Dodig didn't come through but I'll do the results on that and the Troicki bet tomorrow. From these 3 though, standing of -5.10 today, leaving me on +17.29 for the week.
  4. Re: Cricket: Friends Life t20 Let's hope for better results in the forum than yesterday, and I've taken on 5 in the televised match. Northants to beat Durham- 11/10 Sportingbet- (4/10) Kev has pretty much cleared up the reasoning for this one. Northants are going extremely well this season and to have them as underdogs on their home ground where they've been exceptional this season is wrong for me. They've got quality players in Vaas, Hall, O'Brian, Sales and Botha who are some of the best in the county game. Durham as Kev has said are strong in the batting department, but are missing Ben Stokes today who has contributed heavily to their runs this year and without him I see it as a huge boost for Northants and I'll back them to continue their impressive form this year. Durham Over 12.5 4s- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (4/10) Northants Over 12.5 4s- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (4/10) Regulars to the forum will know I like these over bets and I especially like it today as there are so many quality batsman on show who are all capable of pounding the boundary ropes. Vaas for Northants is having a late fitness test, but even if he doesn't play, we've still got the likes of Wakely, Sales, White, Botha for Northants, who also have Hall and Middlebrook down the order to hit the runs, whilst Durham have Mustard, Blackwell, Collingwood, Benkenstein and Muchall, with Breese, Miller and Smith to backup their frontline batsman down the order who can hit the boundaries. All of the players mentioned are fully capable to get going and hit a fair few boundaries and already this year at Northampton we've seen some big scores from individuals so we should see a fair number today if the weather holds up which I've read it will so I'll take the overs for both sides here and hopefully we'll see a good number of runs today. Ian Blackwell -0.5 handicap to beat Rob White- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (4/10) Suprised to see only the half a run handicap on Blackwell here, who is very much the better batsman and the more in form of the players. This is a guy who has played 34 ODIs for England and averages a tad over 40 in first class cricket which isn't bad at all. This year he's already hit a couple of centuries in the 4 day game, averaging over 50, and in the limited form of the game, he has a 98 to his name in his 3 innings and top scored for Durham in their only T20 match thus far. He'll come in at 3 and with the absence of Stokes, he'll one one of guys who Durham will be relying on to hit some runs at the top of the innings. White isn't in the best of form with the bat, hitting 4,1,140,1,6 in his last 5 innings and that big score came in the championship. In the one day game, White has yet to hit the ground running, and has a top score of just 47 which shows he hasn't had the best of times. I think he'll open with Vaas if he's fit, so he'll have to face Onions and perhaps Rushmore of Thorp, not entirely sure but those bowlers aren't the worst in the county game are capable of dismissing White cheaply if he doesn't get going. Just have to back Blackwell to outscore White here given the two players form and that extra quality the Durham man has. Alex Wakely Top Northants Batsman- 9/2 Bet365- (1/10) Wakely, like Vaas is having a fitness test but I'm expecting him to play today and bat at either 3 or 4 where there is always a good chance of him getting in early and having plenty of time to hit some runs. He already has 35 and 30 to his name in Northants' two T20 games thus far, topscoring with that 35 in their game against Warwickshire. He's been pretty solid with the bat this year, and the one day game is usually where he is at his best with the bat, averaging near to 50 this year which is a good return in this in form Northants side. A lot of the focus will be on the likes of Botha, Vaas and Sales etc, but Wakely is a former England U19's captain showing he has the ability and I'll back him given his good performances in the T20 this year to turn it on today.

  5. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 Had another look at taken a further 3 for the action in Queen's. Regret not taking Verdasco at evens last night, but now he's odds on, it's too short to back the Spaniard in my opinion. Janko Tipsarevic vs Andy Murray- Murray -3.5 handicap- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (5/10) Murray has never had it easy against the Serb, but today I see him winning maybe not with ease, but comfortably nonetheless. He looked okay against Malisse, and what was encouraging to see was that his ankle looked fine. It's always difficult to adapt to a new surface so the Scot will just be glad to get through that one. He didn't have to do anything special, just get the job done and he'll look to build on that today. Tipsarevic, although winning both of his matches this week hasn't played well at all and the two wins flatter him. Against Kavcic he missed endless amounts of break points, before only taking it 6-4 6-4, and yesterday the rain came to his rescue as he was getting brushed aside by Russell until the stoppage. If he continues to play like that he'll struggle today, with the crowd firmly behind Murry, will be interesting to see how Tipsarevic copes with that, as he has had crowd problems in the past. I do like Murray in this one though, and he'll frustrate Tipsarevic repeatedly in the rallies and one break set should be fine for Murray to do here. Rafael Nadal vs Radek Stepanek- Nadal -4.5 handicap- 8/11 Ladbrokes- (4/10) This is another matchup where the better player has never had it easy but I fancy that to change today. Nadal was very much warming up against Ebden yesterday, and looked comfortable for the duration and if it wasn't for the Aussie's good first serve, Nadal would have won that by far more than he did. Stepanek though doesn't have that big first serve and he enjoys the variation and rallies. Not tomorrow I don't fancy if Nadal's forehand is adjusting to the grass courts. Stepanek isn't the quickest these days and although when he's played Nadal in the past he has run him close, he's certainly not as fit and agile now in his 30s so he'll struggle I fancy. He incredibly lost the first set to Ljubicic 6-0 yesterday, before managing to come back and win. To lose a set to love is really striking and unforgivable, and any repeated performance of that, Nadal will have a field day. Do fancy him to play well today and win this one by at least 5 games. Marin Cilic vs Tomaz Bellucci- Cilic -3.5 handicap- Evens Ladbrokes- (4/10) Although I wasn't impressed by Cilic on serve yesterday against Clement, his groundstrokes were still impressive and I fancy him to have too much for the Brazilian in this one. Bellucci hasn't played much on the quicker courts this season, and I think that's been noticeable from his past two matches where he could and possibly should have been beaten. Ilhan I think was a break up in the third yesterday before he choked, but regardless Bellucci is incredibly lucky to still be here this week. Cilic is a step up from both of the players he has faced thus far though and despite his serve being erratic, in the rallies he'll put that extra pace and power on the ball and I'm not so sure how Bellucci will cope with that. They have played once before where Cilic easily won 6-2 6-2 on the hard surface. I don't expect it to be as easy as that for him, but I do fancy him to be a comfortable winner here.

  6. Re: Cricket: Friends Life t20

Yeah, Razzaq's innings was amazing to say the least. He pulled out a victory out of thin air. It reminded me of last year when he did the same against south africa in abu dhabi. With him is form Leics prospects are looking good this season. What stat is this? Is it your percentage for this season? Sorry for asking but I am not aware of these terms even though I have been betting on cricket since last four years.
Yeah basically I keep a track of my results through a running tally of profit and loss. The -1.50 now means I'm down by 1.5 units. You'll see that each of mine and also Kev's bets have a strength next to the bet. Whether it be 4pts, 5pts, that's the strength so that has a direct influence on the profit or loss. Hope that clears that up for you.
  7. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 I've taken two for now, probably take another look in the morning to see if anything else is about. Viktor Troicki vs Tomas Berdych- Troicki to win- 11/10 Bet365- (4/10) Taken this now and expect the price to drop on Troicki over night. Two players who are in completely different places right now. Berdych has continued his ropey performances from Paris this week, with two very sketchy performances against Bemelmans and again against Hernch today. He just looks to struggling with confidence at the minute Berdych, and tomorrow if he plays how he has been playing, Troicki will beat him no question. The Serb is high on confidence due to his recent good form, and he'll fancy his chances in this one. He has easily dispatched of Zverev and Andreev this week, and for him to be the underdog in this one is misplaced in my opinion. His serve has come on along way and Berdych won't find it easy to break him, and early on if he gets stuck in to Berdych he could well motor ahead. He beat Berdych back in 2009 in Indian Wells, and given the confidence of the two players, I'll back Troicki to get through this one. Gael Monfils vs Ivan Dodig- Over 21.5 games- 10/11 Bet365- (4/10) Surpised to see the odds as high as this for the overs in a match where both players can have lapses in concentration and go missing in parts. They've both got pretty big serves, so they won't find it easy to break one another so we could well see a tie break in a set which would leave the overs in good stead. Both players seem to enjoy playing lengthy matches, Dodig already went overs in his match with Riba, whilst we all know Monfils will try to entertain the crowd and whilst doing that, will just make this match go on for a bit. I don't see either player winning easily so I'll back these two to play out a tight match.

  8. Re: Cricket: Friends Life t20 Razzaq's blinder of an innings was a pleasure to watch. Croft and Taylor didn't do too much with the bat, thankfully Cobb played a stupid shot first ball to get me at least one win, whilst the ducks bet was void due to D/L. -2.50 today though, leaving me on -1.50 overall. Hopefully can have a few good days this week to make up for the losses.

  9. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

I've taken three for now, probably will take more in the morning but the markets aren't available yet so we'll see. Milos Raonic vs Tobias Kamke- Raonic -4.5 handicap- 5/6 Bet365- (4/10)- LOSS Daniel Gimeno-Traver vs Philipp Petzschner- Petzschner -4.5 handicap- 4/5 Bet365- (4/10)- WIN Kevin Anderson vs Donald Young- Anderson -4.5 handicap- 5/6 Bet365- (4/10)- WIN
Raonic was a game out unfortunately, in fairness Kamke served well in that one. Petzschner and Anderson won comfortably though to give me 4/6 today. Profit of +6.13 today leaving me on +22.36 after the first few days. Not bad at all, hope I can keep it going.
  10. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

Taken a further 3 today, considered the Simon handicap but I'm not sure how that match will play so left it alone. Rafael Nadal vs Matthew Ebden- Ebden +5.5 handicap- 11/10 Ladbrokes- (4/10)- WIN Juan Martin Del Porto vs Igor Kunitsyn- Del Porto -5.5 handicap- Evens Ladbrokes- (4/10)- LOSS Xavier Malisse vs Andy Murray- Over 20.5 games- 4/5 Bet365- (4/10)- WIN
Glad I didn't put more on Del Porto in the end, don't think the time delay or the outside court particularly helped his preparation for the match. Thankfully Ebden was good on serve, and Malisse played some good stuff after the rain delay.
  11. Re: Cricket: Friends Life t20 Thought quite a bit about the televised match, taking into consideration the weather and such, and in the end taken 5 in it with relatively small stakes. Not taken anything else away from the televised match. Fall of Lancashire 1st wicket Under 22.5 runs- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (3/10) Fall of Leicestershire 1st wicket Under 21.5 runs- 5/6 Ladbrokes- (3/10) May as well do the one write up for both of them. As Kev has mentioned the rain has been falling up in Manchester and although the groundstaff are maintaining that the game will start on time, the pitch is going to be a nightmare to bat on. It will nip, bounce and swing early doors, and the outfield will be slow as anything so the batsman will be in for a torrid time when batting. Both teams will open with players who like to get bat to ball and hit the boundaries, but as I've spoken about, this won't be easy against the hard new ball. Cobb, MacDonald, Moore and Smith are all naturally agressive players and like to get their respective teams off to good starts so there's an element of risk in how they play whatever the pitch so with the conditions favouring the bowlers. Both team's bowlers can have a tendancy to get hit around but runs will be hard to come by, and I'll back both teams to take an early wicket or two. Total Match Ducks 2 & Over- 8/5 Sportingbet- (3/10) Quite like this as if the match is affected by D/L, the bet is made void, but if the groundstaff are saying it will start on time, there could be a slim chance of a complete game. If that is the case, the price on this bet shouldn't be as high as what it is. The bowlers should enjoy bowling on this pitch, and with the amount of agressive batsman on show and runs going to be hard to come by, there is a fair chance that a few batsman could fall cheaply and fail to trouble the scorers. Due to the rain, the pitch could be doing all sorts and the batsman will find it hard to play themselves in. There's also some decent bowlers on show with Henderson, Hoggard for the Foxes, and Keedy and Parry for Lancashire, all of whom can take wickets in a flurry so given the high price, I'll hope for a few batsman to fall early on. James Taylor Top Leicestershire Batsman- 4/1 Bet365- (1/10) Although Kev has gone for Jefferson given his form, I'm going with the Foxes' best batsman and a guy I'd like to see in the England setup before too long. In the CB40, Taylor leads the run charts for Leicestershire, and is second behind Jefferson in the Championship. I like Taylor today in particular as he is one of the few batsman in the team who won't look to play outrageous shots, and will just play the ball about and go about his business quietly but usually effectively. With some tough conditions for the batsman, the likes of Cobb, McDonald and Razzaq with their big hitting will struggle to keep that up, so that leaves Taylor and Jefferson, but I'll back Taylor with that extra quality he has to impress the Sky cameras again. Stephen Croft Top Lancashire Batsman- 4/1 Bet365- (1/10) Croft is my favourite Lancashire player and is a guy who I rate quite highly in the first-class game. He used to be a middle order batsman who bowled a bit as well, but over the past year or so he has focussed solely on his batting and is now one of the key guys in the Lancashire top order. He has the ability to hit a ball a long way, but can also play some genuine class strokes as well. He's a red rose man through and through and will have seen these conditions so many times before up north so he'll know how to bat today. In his one day innings this season, he already has a century and a fifty to his name, and he is the leading run scorer in one day cricket for Lancashire. He'll come in at number 3, so should have plenty of time at the crease, and hopefully pile on some runs today.

  12. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 Taken a further 3 today, considered the Simon handicap but I'm not sure how that match will play so left it alone. Rafael Nadal vs Matthew Ebden- Ebden +5.5 handicap- 11/10 Ladbrokes- (4/10) Going agains Rafa with the handicap here as I'm doubtful he can be at 100% from last week. We already know that Federer withdrew because he needs the rest and although Nadal is the fitter of the two, he's bound to still be suffering with a touch of fatigue despite playing doubles last night. He's obviously not as good on grass as he is on the clay, although he is still exceptional on the surface, he does have a tendancy to be a bit rusty in his first few match on the grass as we saw last year. He was beaten by Lopez in straights at Queen's, and Istomin also pinched a set off him before that. At Wimbledon he was rusty as well in the early rounds, being taken to 5 sets by Haase and Petzschner so he does have that habit of starting slowly on the grass which could see Ebden keep this relatively close. The Australian has already come through the qualifiers here and impressively beat Devvarman yesterday so he'll know how the courts are playing and should be comfortable early doors whilst Nadal finds his feet. He has already beaten Istomin this year, and kept it close against Gasquet and I just fancy him to not roll over today and keep it tight for the majority. As long as he serves well which he can do, one break in each set could see the handicap through. Juan Martin Del Porto vs Igor Kunitsyn- Del Porto -5.5 handicap- Evens Ladbrokes- (4/10) Do really like Del Porto here and if the handicap was a game or so lower I would have gone in heavily but I still fancy him to cover the (5.5) handicap as well. He didn't really have to do anything special to beat Istomin yesterday, but he looked good and comfortably took care of that one despite having an injury scare at one point. We saw last week against Djokovic that he is returning to his best, and although he still isn't there, he should be way too much for Kunitsyn. The Russian was lucky in the first round as Bogomolov retired in the second set tie break but for that was an extremely tight affair that could have gone either way. Kunitsyn can be competitive against players around the same level, but when up against the higher ranked players he does struggle, examples of that include Roddick and Troicki beating him easily last year on grass. With Del Porto returning to some form, don't see him failing to win this one with some ease like he has done in their past 2 meetings, winning in straight sets and covering the handicap and I fancy him to do the same again today. Xavier Malisse vs Andy Murray- Over 20.5 games- 4/5 Bet365- (4/10) It was either this or the Malisse handicap but gone for the overs as Malisse is quite as likely to keep one set close, or pinch it, then lose the next two without fighting, he's that kind of player. Malisse is no mug on the grass either and will trouble Murray in parts. He beat Djokovic here last year, and got to the quarters where he lost to Querrey. He'll enjoy being on the main court in front of the cameras and the crowd and Murray won't have everything his own way. Another thing that influences the overs is Murray's fitness, which is still dodgy to say the least. He had to come off the courts during practice yesterday due to his ankle hurting, so there's no guarantees to what shape the Scot is in, however he did play doubles yesterday so I'm guessing he should be okay. I do think he will win this one, but Malisse is good enough to keep this tight and bring the overs in, like their match a few weeks back in Rome where Murray won in 3.

  13. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 I've taken three for now, probably will take more in the morning but the markets aren't available yet so we'll see. Milos Raonic vs Tobias Kamke- Raonic -4.5 handicap- 5/6 Bet365- (4/10) Taken the same bet with Raonic as I did today against Andujar where he motored in the second set and won with ease in the end. His serve wasn't under too much threat at any point in the match and I don't see Kamke having the return skills to trouble Raonic's serve either today. Kamke on the quicker surfaces this year has had some really indifferent form. At times he has shown glimpses of what he can do, but so often with the German he throws in some complete shockers and he is the kind of guy who will get frustrated in matches if things aren't going his way. He was lucky today with Reister retiring, so he still hasn't had alot of practice on the grass after coming back from the clay courts. In his last few matches on the hard courts before he moved onto clay, he was hammered and I'd fancy Raonic with upcoming talent to win this one with some ease so I'll back him with the handicap for the second day in a row. Daniel Gimeno-Traver vs Philipp Petzschner- Petzschner -4.5 handicap- 4/5 Bet365- (4/10) Really like the German in this one to record another win in front of the home crowd. Gimeno-Traver away from the clay, has had an utterly shocking season, failing to win a single match on the quicker hard courts against some pretty average players and although he managed to get some wins on the clay courts, he struggled again today against Golubev, who has been equally poor this year, where he got hammered in the first set 6-1, but luckily Golubev was mentally weak enough to allow him back into the match and take the third set with relative ease. Petzchner although looking a touch patchy today against a fellow German in Meffert, got the job done in straight sets and we saw last year what a capable player he is on grass. He made the semis here last year, so he has points to defend, and with the crowd behind him, and the complete contrast of the two players form this year, I fail to see him winning this one comfortably. He took Nadal to 5 sets at Wimbledon last year and a performance anywhere near that he should romp to victory tomorrow. Kevin Anderson vs Donald Young- Anderson -4.5 handicap- 5/6 Bet365- (4/10) Thought about taking Anderson earlier to beat Karlovic but left it alone but I fancy him again tomorrow to get the job done. He played well in a tricky match with Karlovic today, serving well and obviously returning well to manage to break Karlovic and provide some opportunities for himself on return. He was mightily impressive on the hard courts before the clay, and the grass should suit him nicely as well. He didn't have a great grass season last year, but did show glimpses in his marathon with Davydenko to what he can do. Young has fared well this year in the challenger events, but when faced against the better players, he has struggled bar his match with Murray. He was creamed last week on the grass courts by a guy ranked outside the top 150, and dropped a set again today to Haider-Maurer. Anderson will be a complete step up in class for the American and unless he ups his game by a considerable amount, he'll struggle to trouble big Kev tomorrow. Anderson has won the last 4 matches between the two, including one earlier this year and I'll back him to make it 5 in a row and win the match by at least 5 games.

  14. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

Thanks fishy lost with your other tip but made money back and small profit with tsonga.:ok that seemed to easy.
No probs mate, glad you made a little profit out of it. Was frustrating with Mahut due to him having an injury but Tsonga made up for it.
  15. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

Mahut looks gone to be honest, injury problems with him which is f*cking frustrating to say the least, only hope is Verdasco beats himself. Have taken a final one today, backing another Frenchman, not to be advised. Michael Berrer vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga- Tsonga -4.5 handicap- 11/10 Bet365- (4/10)- WIN
Really didn't expect it to be as comfortable as that but makes up for the Mahut loss anyway which helped a few others in the forum which is a positive to xome out of it ;). Good day on the whole though and gives me a start of +16.23 for the week and hopefully I can build on that this week.
  16. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

May take one or two more as well but another quick one for me. Fernando Verdasco vs Nicolas Mahut- Mahut to win- 11/10 Ladbrokes- (4/10)- LOSS
Shame that Mahut was struggling with injury. Saw glimpses at the start that he could trouble Verdasco but the injury certainly hamprered him.
  17. Re: Tennis - June 6-12

Another WIN :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana
Just a quick word on your write ups. Not sure if it's just me or others feel the same but the fact you do your tips in huge bold lettering, then once they come through putting some eccentric quote up about how you won is starting to annoy me. It you're doing it for recognition, then maybe go about your business quietly then people may start to appreciate your input more. But what you do at the minute is just plain annoying and slightly desperate. You don't see others on the site do it, and your tips are no more important than any others. Remember that please.
  18. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 Mahut looks gone to be honest, injury problems with him which is f*cking frustrating to say the least, only hope is Verdasco beats himself. Have taken a final one today, backing another Frenchman, not to be advised. Michael Berrer vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga- Tsonga -4.5 handicap- 11/10 Bet365- (4/10) Berrer has only played two matches in total on grass over the past couple of years, losing both and although the majority of the match may be tight, I do expect Tsonga to motor in parts and show his quality. He's a player I like on the quicker surfaces, with his big serve and all round complete game. Only thing that worries me with the Frenchman is his fitness and attitude at times, but he won't have to do a load of running in this one and he'll want a few wins this week to give him some form going into Wimbledon, after losing that epic with Wawrinka in Paris. If his serve is what it can be, Berrer shouldn't be able to do much on it and depending on who serves, one break a set could be enough for the handicap but I expect Tsonga to be solid in this one.

  19. Re: Tennis - June 6-12 Haha I really dislike going against others on the forum as in an ideal world, all of us would have winners 100% of the time and hammer the bookies with every bet taken, but one of those things in this one. Think we'll know who's going to win it from the first few games or so. If Mahut doesn't serve well it's Verdasco's, but if he does, frustration could lose the Spaniard the match. Going to have to wait a while though due to this boring match with Roddick and Lopez. Lucky there will be a tie break otherwise Mahut and Isner's record could be in danger.
