  1. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January quote:

The danger in betting Chelsea handicaps in this one is that generally these games tend to be closer than you expect, I wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea only won this by a couple even if most of us expect it to be a few more. Rotation might be an issue, Mata might be rested, Torres possibly? But then who do they replace him with? Few options up front other than him unless they start really rotating positions which appears unlikely. FA Cup game after this which they are sure to rotate heavily for then the League Cup semi, they are still involved in a lot of games, expect Oscar to come in probably for Mata, hopefully Lampard will play after his 2 goals today and this would look to be a game that will suit him. Chelsea -1EH - 1.73 - betfred - 15 Points Chelsea -1.5,-2.0AH - 1.87 - pinnacle - 15 Points Chelsea -2.0AH - 2.16 - pinnacle - 10 Points
quote: Last season, he featured in 34 of Chelsea's 38 league games, while this term he has played a part in 16 of 18. But despite his 50 matches being the most of any outfield player at the club over the same period, Mata had no intention of allowing his team-mates to catch him up. 'I want to play more, I want to keep playing, keep training, keep enjoying this club and this Premier League,' he told Chelsea TV. Modestly describing his goals tally as 'not bad', he added: 'I'm very happy with how it's going - the season - for me and for the team and I just have to keep working.'

""" ------------------ I think Mata will take part in some way. There are some guys who seem to play every game without much problems.

I dont see big problems for Chelsea. Their offensive players rarely have to play every game 90 minutes. They have a very healthy rotation which in turn makes them play each probably net 90 minutes every week. Same with the midfield. The back four is playing every game but then they dont have that much pitch to cover. Only Torres is always playing but he is used to it too. He gets into good positions every game but he had some bad misses vs. Everton. QPR might have bigger problems as you said. They need to rest some players but no matter how they do it they will play like 11 individuals. They are just not working good together. Hill and nelson in QPR defense are old footballers. They surely will need rest at some point. Clint Hill played every game in december. QPR doesnt look very deep at all with their squad. Mbia who has at least some quality theoreticly has played every game in december.. Then Fernandez slammed the new players again after Redknapp did it already. Their morale will be down even more. The next two days the fans will run finally riot as relegation seems inevitable. I only can see QPR parking the bus and Chelsea having a slow day destroying these handicaps. Like them scoring in second half and then let it run out as QPR isnt a threat. Im sure Redknapp will try damage control as he said it after pool game where he started to play 5 at the back beeing 3 down.. If you think about it it was an act of giving up. He only waits for some new players.. With QPR still running headless vs. pool giving their all soemwhat I think they had in the back of the mind that they wont try taking anything from chelsea. " ‘Did you think we were going to win 4-3?’ asked Redknapp. ‘No, nor did I. You have to be realistic in football. Do you want to get beat 8-0 or damage limitation? So I changed how we played and shut up shop. Maybe I should’ve done that from the start.’

" ->He probably will do that but then again You need to press Chelsea.. sitting back doesnt help but makes matters worse..

While Chelsea needs these points 100% as otherwise their recent run would have been nearly worthless..

  2. Re: Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool > Sun 30th December

Bit of both mate, the game is over so no more bets to be had A bit of after match banter doesn't hurt anyone .....
yeah yeah you are right..i do it too ^^. Im all time pushing here...all for the money hehehehe just anxious to get my question answered on how much QPR invested. I saw them running and "working" hard, tough without any direction..but bot sure if everyone saw that.. if so thinking about how this influences their game vs. chelsea. Weak mind for sure but also weak legs?
  3. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January

Hi guys I'm new to this site but I hope this post is ok. I totally agree that I can't see any other result than a Chelsea win. If you can still get odds at 1.28 I think that is more than fair especially considering todays result and the ease of which Liverpool took the 3pts. I'd be interested to see what the handicap odds are as I can see Chelsea running away with this and there might be a nice little profit made if Chelsea can get the goals that are expected.
Welcome. the facts are clear: chelsea has the ability to cover several hcp's QPR has the weakness to get crushed. Need to check for some factors(above some in my post) to pin it down. 1)- > Its about how much chelsea wants to invest. Do they go for more goals if they score one? I think so as they still want to show for their fans..and why should they stop their train running full steam.. Still they might opt for a controlled win having had intense weeks. 1:0; 2:1 would in theory be enough.. 2)- > How much power was lost by QPR? Did they give this chelsea game already up? They looked running like crazy vs. pool without achieving anything.. Answer these two questions and you have the answer on if chelsea will run away.. Normal handicaps : Chelsea (-3.0) @ 4,5 -2 @ 2,6 -1 @ 1,7 Odds will probably drop.
  4. Re: Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool > Sun 30th December

Sorry been tweeting Shaun wright Phillips reminding him how he picks up £55k a week for inept performances week after week but this week everyone joined in Worst half of football I have seen for a number of years Liverpool goal scorer is suarez - did the players not understand ?
Well at least he chased every ball even if he wasnt able to get it anyway. irony. He just hasnt have it in him anymore and this is no news. He is over his prime long ago.. The idiots are the owners who pay him. Not him. Suarez..everyone knows it but many cant stop him. I think QPR did what was possible and this is not much. They are just no team and heavy paid soldiers without a future at QPR. Still they did run like crazy but without a plan at all. Its nearly hopless cause the team isnt working. How is your stance on how they did invest power without achieving anything? I think they did run too much for a game already lost.. This will cost them dearly at chelsea..
  5. Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Reading > Tue 1st January

Should under 2.5 here not good value?
Looks quiet good. Reading had some tight games but a very high scoring game vs. Arsenal. Reading also failed to score 4 times in a row on the road. Tottenham is a good defensive stable side and with Scot Parker back even more organized. They know how to keep the ball. Tottenham had some under games at home espacially vs. lower opposition. They are without bale who is always a goal threat. Reading will surely go to tottenham to get a point. Tottenham doesnt look very hungry for goals after scoring and after heavy weeks they might be satisfied with a narrow win. Both teams not to score looks tasty in this context too.
  6. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January Did you guys also think that QPR was going a very high tempo until the end vs. pool? And it felt like they were unneccesary runs just to show they are not giving up? They were chasing balls going surely out etc. so the fans wouldnt be too upset.. They might be very tired come wednesday.. What do you guys think who watched it? They seemed to run around like headless chickens. They are totally cluelless what to do in this situation. These players are not used to the prem league and even less to playing from the bottom table. I think they are trying but it just doesnt work out. With the recent chelsea results in mind Im thinking about this ending with a similar result like the Villa one. QPR is just bad defensivly. Both teams have to play on saturday in the FA cup. Has it any importance for QPR at all? Benitez has enough players to shuffle around again. This might be the last game to play the africans before they will go to africa cup. With victor moses maybe starting together with oscar and Obi Mikel. I think Benitez is a relly intelligent coach. He stabilized them at the back. He knows vs. some opponents he can go for goals to please the crowds having the offensive quality. And with others he is all about different tactical tasks to win the opponent(norwich, Everton). This could be one of the games where he says.. work offensivly and go for goal after goal cause QPR looks weak defensivly. They have enough offensive power to destroy QPR. The straight win is too low odds. thinking about some hc.

  7. Re: Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool > Sun 30th December Good stuff from Blackcrow. They hit back..didnt expect that at all. Wanted to play the over and came too late to the studio. lol thought it was 17:30 my time but was 17:00. Was about to fill the over bet and thought to myself is the screen showing a replay lol. Out of frustration a small punt on QPR 2:0 behind lol. Anyway QPR was all over the place. like headless chickens. Its not that they dont want..they are just cluelless in this situation. Then Redknapp substituted a striker so it wouldnt end up worse lol. Did you guys also feel that QPR was going a very high tempo until the end? I think they will be dead tired vs chelsea

  8. Re: Everton v Chelsea > Sun 31st December

Yeah I think reading Everton forums it doesnt look like they will rape him.. There is some rumor with everton fans that Neville is out but his twitter said going early to bed lol. Tough it seems Gibson will be out. If Hitzelsberger plays then Everton will have big problems containing fluent Chelsea attack. The squad and espacially the bench doesnt look good. Also a older guy like Distin having to play that often lately.. Heitinga doesnt seem an option cause of his statements Moyes might opt with a five men midfield and a point would be a good point. Everton had already problems last two games when opponents were running at them. David Luiz looks very strong for chelsea in midfield. For me this is the strongest Chelsea in years. Some of you might not have checked it yet but they will go on a run in the league. Matas form alone is frightening for any opponent. The possibilities for Benitez to tacticly change the squad are excellent. He only misses a 2nd good striker. This guy Benitez isnt a waiter. He is one of the best tacticans in this game. I dont see any reason for chelsea to not be excited to play again these days. I think Everton had some luck lately and is a bit in downward form. It might get better with Fellaini and Gibson returning but at this point Chelsea is rightly favourites. I also think that Benitez will have a plan to stop the strong left Everton side cause this is half the task of stopping Everton(admitedly also the hardest). Chelsea might have also the height advantage in midfield with everton looking small. I will take chelsea to win @2,5 7/10 Maybe the narrow win @4,1 .. Chelsea not to loose looks also good at @1,4 but definetivly waiting for the squads ! Watching it live can give some clues on how this will play out. Still pondering the under 2,5 goals as I think Moyes will try to get a draw while Benitez will rather tacticly and disciplined look at this game. There is not much hints on this beeing a high scoring game. espacialy with chelsea tightening up.
That was fun. Hit punt after punt onto Chelsea live. Everton was obviously overpowering in the first 30 minutes. Also a guy like hitzelsberger isnt up to the standards to influence a game. If there was one game Everton looses at home then it was destined to be this. Love how the bookies gave these odss in light of the h2h while not realizing that this is atotaly different Chelsea squad.. Still Torres was so bad with his chances...cost me some nerves.. While Everton had 2 woodworks it was a deserved chelsea victory. I think Chelsea is on the predicted uptrend and did pass this test brilliantly. Tough Everton looked just too short and with a full squad would have troubled chelsea more. As long as Baines and Pienaar play Everton is always expected to give a game.
  9. Re: Everton v Chelsea > Sun 31st December no neville no gibson everton look short on the bench. benitez with lampard luiz and eamirez on the right to contain evertons strong left side. looks under 2,5 and chelsea not to loose maybe win. chelsea ht ft x 2 cause offenaive potential is gret to sub in. cant see chelsea loosing this. this is the game were everton looks weakest this season.

  10. Re: Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool > Sun 30th December quote; "Luis will be fine. He's a real robust player and is very rarely in the treatment room," said Rodgers to reporters. "He's been playing with a bad ankle for a couple of weeks and took a heavy knock the other night, but he's fine."

http://www.liverpool.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=303769#ixzz2GXFh6Mqh I think he must play cause without him they dont have a prem league striker at all.. He looked kind of troubled through the stoke game. Im feeling pool gets a bit on the tired side. Im leaning more and more towards QPR. Its just the bad feeling to bet on them knowing they have only one win. Tough, I think they are improving, albeit slowly. They have at least the talent to do that.

  12. Re: Stoke City v Southampton > Sat 29th December

Correct' date=' people have this mystical idea that they can get accumulators up and make a fortune. I was one of those people. I remember once i put €50 on 10 teams in the FA Cup, all premier league sides playing lower league opposition, and amazingly Bolton beat Oldham 1-0 with a last goal to get the bet up, I got €1,550 returned. That money lasted me a mere few weeks, doing accumulators. The ONLY way to make money on footie is singles, or doubles if you are an extremely shrewd cookie.[/quote'] Yeah I play them too. I play all games that I think are possible to come into an accu. soemtimes 5 a weekend sometimes 10. They come sometimes and its great. But I only invest the beer money cause I dont drink at all lol. Basicly you want to protect your money and invest only when you feel that is valuable to do it. If you just started your goal should be to hold your money.(I payed the price for that knowledge lol) Never bet more then 10% and even if your bank is only 50€. Then if you get the feeling you can get a bit adventurous.. ;) and well dont believe anything wrote in forums ;)
  13. Re: Everton v Chelsea > Sun 31st December

The best players love it and play better.
Well I checked again. Torres was in really bad condition at that time. He picked up some momentum last weeks. in 11/12 at chelsea he had 6 goals overall in 32 prem league matches. Before going to Everton he didnt score in 5 months! He was awfull in nearly every match in 10/11 season he had only 1 goal in 14 matches. same afwull performances. So torres has this season more goals then in the past 1,5 seasons for chelsea.. He gets these chants in many stadiums(tough maybe not as hard and repeating as @ goodison) He was just playing badly. In his second game @goodison when he was much younger he scored two goals for pool. So I think when he plays good and is in form he wont be affected much by these chants he has to hear from time to time again. Sure if he plays bad and hears the chants he might get more angry.. I just cant believe it the way some guys painted it above like chelsea playing with 10 men. I think you are all a bit biased which is reflected in the words you use regarding this game... there is not much substantial talk about how the game will be played out like the matchups on the pitch.. Im thinking of it much cause Im thinking that otherwise chelsea has gameplay wise an edge over everton with all the missings.
  14. Re: Swansea City v Aston Villa > Tue 1st January

Swansea should be 1.5 in my opinion. Villa are hopeless at the moment' date=' and Man United couldn't beat Swansea away. Villa are playing like a bottom half championship side at the moment, conceded 15 goals in 3 games, scoring 0. I think 1.8 for Swansea would be asking for a bit much, I know someone got £3 on at 2.0, and fair play to whoever got that price.[/quote'] he has his beer paid already. still this bet is worth half without michu.
  15. Re: Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool > Sun 30th December Liverpool really looks awfull lately. Gerrard despite scoring looks tired and old. Suarez seems to be the only threat. He still needs too many chances. Despite that. Liverpool is involved in some high scoring matches. Why is that? Their midfield looks slow going back. Then their defense is awfull. Central D was promising years ago. Several Tatoos later they look awfull. Jose enrique and Johnson are bad defending at times caught off positon. Queens park. Well, they are not a good chemsitry team. CD Nelsen was ill with a virus but should play vs pool. They conceede in like every game. They are just not good organized. no defensive team chemistry. Both teams need wins. A draw would be a catastrophe for Rodgers. QPR would have not been helped much with a draw. What worries me a bit is that Suarez has problems. He will play but he didnt score since has problems. Still he gets into enough positions. If suarez gets another knock he is out of the game. The atmosphere at liverpool is totally crumbling. They want Rodgers out and with a loss he might be on that way.. QPR just won once. They tightened a bit up at the back and had also some bad luck lately. The odds on QPR look really tasty. At least pool look totally overrated. Liverpool looks tired. they had an awfull game @ stoke. Suarez is not fully fit. Without him they have no striker and I wonder if they would play him at all if that wasnt the case ! Gerrard is geting older and slower. These weeks nag on him. Its apparent. Lucas isnt 100% yet. Joe Allen isnt creating much at all. The central defence is looking awfully unconcentrated. Sterling isnt delivering every game. Johnson looked ok. Enrique looks not very in the team and is sometimes awfull offensivly. Suso, well he isnt a high class player. looks like a poor version of luis enrique. Their coach is in heavy critique. They didnt have any special results. Fulham win,,yeah fulham is even worse.. They also had a very long season with the euro league qualifiers etc. This is the time it might catch up QPR. They have potential. guys like Mbia and Taraabt have it certainly in them. Redknapp is giving them good pressure. They wil lfight as much as these guys can. I might opt for the QPR win. They seem to have more will to deliver.. and the odds are unreal(casue some hundred thousand pool fans bet on their team every weekend no matter what lol) Both teams trying to win and chasing big time not ok with a draw might also bring this to a high scoring game with some space in midfield. Tough with suarez not fit these bets might crumble..

  16. Re: Stoke City v Southampton > Sat 29th December

These statistics are only hints at what is possible. I like to try digging deeper. What far more important is how these teams play these days and how both styles will clash and how the players match up against each other. What I see is that Southampton considerably tightened up their defensive organisation cause them trying to "play" other teams didnt work out many times. This goes for some sacrifices in the offensive end of the game. With Lallana missing they have even less options there. So they will probably try again to stay good organized. Its the key for them to stay in the prem. Then we have Stoke on the other side who emphaticly go forward with a strong organization all over the pitch which they prove game for game. Tough they have two big missings in defence with Shawcross and Cameron. Upson who hadnt games recently will come in in CD. This is a weakness no doubt. The question is how Stoke will cope with that? Im not so sure of that but often teams will be a bit more passiv and more into security. I also think that the organization of stoke is still good and due to the team effort rather then single players. So I expect a more cautios play and both teams heavily defending any lead while the other team wont expose them totally at the back. So the stats you give for Southampton should be weighted much lower due to their trend to play more defensivly and the missing of lallana while Stokes statistics wont be mroe affected as they will be more carefull with Upson having no match practice while their organization is still strong enough to contain a hampton team not going all out as at the start of the season. IMO Also the game vs. pool. Stoke was motivated to punish pool. The supporters got some hate for pool going and it got rather emotional. I dont expect a similar score line as this will be a more composed game..
lol deciding factor was Shawcross missing. had it already in the blood that stoke will never be value below evens. NEVER!
  17. Re: Fulham v Swansea City > Sat 29th December

I will take Berbatov to score. article-2253654-16A8423F000005DC-846_634x579.jpg Even with Michu out fulham looks so weak in defence they can conceede with everyone. Berbatov still gets chances in every game despite having to play much deeper the last weeks. Now with Ruiz returning he can go further upfront getting into even more dangerous positions while Ruiz is a guy who seeks to put the ball through to Berbatov. He is the guy Fulham seeks and his T-shirt is a hint to back him, seriously (lol) 2,7 odds at my local bookie down the street. 10/10
yeah rather no bet next time. such big head behaviour backfires often if your name isnt christiano ronaldo..
  18. Re: Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion > Sat 29th December How this team can be on top of prem league baffles me... Cant wait for the real CL tie where we will se goals galore and a Man U punished. Expecting scholes and gigs to start next game "overunning" opposition. But yeah as said. Return of Vidic is a big + . Still the problems in defense seem to be systemicly. The win to nil was good odds but very lucky!

  19. Re: Aston Villa v Wigan Athletic > Sat 29th December

:(what the heck??! Villa let me down for a large sum today I had an under 2.5 at this match...yeah as you guys stated Wigan won't win away from home in the next...100 years??! Why should it happen today though to ruin my great bet??! I hope Villa will get relegated along with QPR in the end...
Cause as stated wigan had clear uptrend which wasnt seen in the statistics while Villa with a big downtrend.. no suprise sorry. You should forgive them and it will make future bets easier.
  20. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Wed 2nd January

Is conceding 11 goals in 2 games an uptrend? :$
It was against a killer offense of Man u and vs a wonderfully working arsenal offense with almost all players in form. They will have Anita and Williamson back. anita looked very strong. Marvaeux and Obertan looked rather good. Ba is in a form where he is expected to score vs anyone.. Yes they are still weak in defense and I think both to score might be the bet to go as does over bets. Im sure Newcastle can score 2-3 goals vs Everton who conceeds also in many games. Im just sayin they didnt look as bad as they did look in November. Im also sure if they played bottom half teams they would have had better results and lower odds in this game. But big part will also be how Everton fares with yellow cards and injurys. like holden said.
