Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Live chat is completly useless. Still waiting to an answer from Sunday when they said it would take up to 48 hours. its a strange setup as the casino part is licensed by the Mowhawk casino in Canada but the poker site is licensed in Curacao in the Caribbean which is where i assume their call centre is. I have been to Curacao where it is really is manjana`. "Hey man, where were you? It's noon and we had an appointment at 9 o'clock sharp! Manjana, manjana! This is the carribbean man..."

Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Reply from Tim at Pokerplayer. Definitely includes the buyins. Only comp given so far is the $1500 freeroll. Hi Kevan The prize for this Sunday is definitely the tournament package plus buy-ins – in the same way that last weekends tournament was $1,300 plus buy-ins The compensation offered by Intertops so far has been the freeroll ticket only – nothing else, but I can't comment on what other people have said Thanks Tim

Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August
The tournament on the upcoming Sunday is it a first place only' date=' winner takes all deal? I'm sure magazine says Prize up top and rest from buy ins. Had a nightmare with Customer Services when I signed up on Saturday anticipating the security checks, filled it all out and then got told that Monday morning would be the earliest it would be sorted. Still awaiting that to be completed. So debating whether to try for that package or just to take money and lose it somewhere else :D[/quote'] The mag definetly states live package plus buyin's. Intertops tourny page says live package only. Needs to be clarified with Pokerplayer. Have asked Tim at pokerplayer which is correct -

Re: Poker Player Magazine Tour 2014 Satellite Thread
Yes mag told me it was a misprint. Was surprised the tourny was not password protected. Not that it made any difference. Played like a moron running my AA into K4 2 pair.I think that might be a misprint in the mag. Far as I know all games on SkyPoker are in £. The previous buy-in PPT qualifier was also £5.50. They seem to have messed up slightly as the tournament is also completely open to join but is supposed to be password protected - I'm ot sure if this is a good or bad thing really, there's nothing added to the prizepool so there's no value lost and more people might generate more seats. I'm pretty sure the last one was not unlimited rebuys either! -
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August
from what i have been told' date=' the 6 who got booted out etc have been entered into a $1500 freeroll (3 paid) and given 5 tourney tickets as compensation[/quote'] Al, Like kev the only thing I have been given is a ticket to the $1500 freeroll. No other tickets and haven't even got my buyin back. No explanation other than it was a misunderstanding. Been told we will not have the same problem next sunday. Will wait and see. -
Re: Poker Player Magazine Tour 2014 Satellite Thread The next sat is showing as 4.50 euro +0.50 in the August mag. Anyone know why its £5+ £0.50 on skypoker

Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August
Took me a while to get in - but I am now in and up n running. Wierd thing I've noticed though' date=' I'm SURE I paid $3.30 to enter this tournament and it now says it's $4.40?? The mag says $3.30 as well.[/quote'] Is 3.30 euros converted to dollar. How are u still in. How many playing -
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August I got thrown out before the tourny even started and then had to reregister. Have not had my entry refunded

Re: Road to Dublin! - Winamax Promo - Thursdays & Mondays The prize for Grand Prix 9 was very specific "€1,100 WPO package + €500 tournament tickets, or €1,600 tournament tickets" It can't be paid as bonus. Thats complete nonsense. When i have won previous packages like Titan to Malta, expenses were added to my online account and I was able to withdraw in cash. Otherwise how can you pay for travel. Take it up with Pokerplayer mag.

Re: PokerPlayer Grand Prix 9 - Winamax starts Feb 10th 2014 Great result Kev. Disappointed with my 10th place finish but went card dead in last hour. Still its my best place finish in the last 4 Grand Prix finals. Just need to use the tourny tickets to good effect. Good Luck in Ireland

Re: PokerPlayer Grand Prix 9 - Winamax starts Feb 10th 2014
Unlucky spit. Thought I was going to miss final. Moved and had no internet for 4 weeks. Good job I had already qualified. Stupidly decided to switch to BT. Usual no show appointments. Finally had to go to Chief Executive. Back on today in time for final. Good Luck any other punters playingI dont get how I didnt make the top 20??? I was in 16th place from the 9th round and the final buy in game was supposed to be double points (ie. 20 points only) Now I have dropped to 24th??? It seems they have allocated points for the top 50 for the buy in game, but the wording suggested top 50 points would NOT be awarded for any of the buy in games Not happy :( -
