Re: The DTD Pennyroll thread Playing Day 1F of the World Poker Tour £1m at Dusk til Dawn tomorrow. At the moment 190 players registered. First 3 days have had between 120 and 190 playing with around 40 getting through to Day 2 on Saturday. Tomorrow will probably be busiest day. Hope to run as well as the Grand Prix 2 weeks ago plus have my AA's hold up this time. Final day Sunday. Will update via my twitter account. @KevanLim1

After the Grosvenor closed its poker room, I followed the cash players to another casino. Continued playing £1/50p and won another £109. When I played kept hitting including nut flush with KQ when Ace fell on the flop. other Guy had AJ. Its hard to lose when you running that well. The other cash game players obviously cursed me. When I finally got home this morning went straight to the Bank to pay in the cash. ATM in Bank swallowed my cash and jammed the machine. No record of my cash and it took me an hour to persuade them I had just paid in it. Sorted in the end. Thanks for the support guys. Looking forward to the £1m WPT next month. Will be very tough as its a 3 day event.when. your hot best time to play. As I had early morning train went to grosvenor nottingham after I was out at Grand Prix. Played cash and won another £120.Great weekend. -

Re: The DTD Pennyroll thread out in 85th for £300 and £500 WPT seat. blinds were crippling. £60,000 and £30,000 with £10k anti. crippled when shoved with AJ and called by10,s. hit a straight ion river and it gave him full house.very pleased with my play and especally the nov WPT seat.First place today pays £35k

Re: The DTD Pennyroll thread what a rush. start day 2 with 66k. 361 playing 215 paid. shove first 2 hands. get lucky 2nd when K10 called by 10's. up to 240. lose 50k when fold 10's to AK shove. then table breaks. 3rd hand get AA on button. small blind has KK. AA holds up this time. up to 340k.And now we are in the money. 210 left. £250 guaranteed. not bad for 1p roll.

Re: The DTD Pennyroll thread you are probably right. unfortunetly I knew the guy who shoved already had a day 2 seat so he was shoving light to try to build a bigger stack. without that knowledge may have folded as blinds were only 2,000/4,000.

Get AA and reraise earlyposition only to get shoved on my another big stack. tempted to fold as i will still have 130,000 left. but need to build stack for tomorrow. certain he has KK. call. he does but hits K on turn. lose a 250,000 pot.have 4,000 left. blinds at 2000/4000. shove 3 times. first a split pot followed by a double up and then AQ hits a Q on river after other player hits 8 on turn. back up to 40,000. 120 left. need more double ups before end.

Day 2 is Sunday if I get through. So far about 60 through to Day 2 from online Day 1's. I am surprised only about 80 per night playing online in the first 3 Day 1's especially with the large number of 1p rolls they have been running.

I finally won some points but no chance of qualifying. will have to win one of the final 2 qualifiers if I can avoid all the suckouts. never seen so many people calling 3 or 4 outers. -
