    Re: Boxing...Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao Wasn't very entertaining? Could have seen one of the best ever tonight. Hatton is a great fighter and Pacman destroyed him. World titles at 6 different weights is unbelievable. Makes Mayweather's jobs on Hatton and ODLH look a touch sloppy now? (I know circumstances different etcetc). Pacquiao is undoubtedly the best boxer on the planet and does anyone really think Floyd Jr will be chomping at the bit to get in the ring with him? Won't be portrayed as such over here but this is much more about Pacquiao's brilliance than Hatton's failures!

I wasn't initially going to bet on this but I've had a not so careful think and decided to go for Taylor on points; 3.15 @ Betfair. Not pretending to be an expert here but I didn't think Froch won so easily against Pascal and anyone that has decisioned Bernard Hopkins twice can certainly box, through one reason or another Froch hasn't got such a career defining win on his resume, the biggest scalp possibly being Robin Reid? Taylor hasn't knocked anyone out in a while, it's in the US (dodgy home judges?) and this is Froch's debut in the limelight so I'll have a little bit on Taylor pts victory.

If you phone through and explain what happened then they might do the same for you... Ask to be put through to a 'team leader' (basically a different sweaty to the one that answers the phone)

That's his 3rd loss, with 2 of them coming against supposedly vastly inferior opposition. For me Enzo Calzaghe has never done anything as a trainer. I could have trained Joe to a world title. Well Enzo was ranked the 6 Cruiser in the world by the Ring magazine so I guess some people rated him..

    Re: Boxing: 13th & 14th March including Khan vs Barrera I think its something a bit more sinister with Khan, the guy was our ONLY boxer at the Olympics and came back with a medal, he's respectful, not one for talking sh*t and is one of the most exciting fighters we have. Don't agree with you about him getting smashed so easily but its all about opinions I suppose. Are you yourself not being a bit fickle after Calzaghe's fighters have one bad fight? ..Calzaghe, Rees, Maccarrinelli, Pryce, Lockett

    Re: Boxing: 13th & 14th March including Khan vs Barrera I'm on Khan, not for huge amounts but I think the speed, size and youth might be the difference in a Khan win. Also I agree that Roach/Warren wouldn't let him fight someone like Barrera after the Prescott debacle unless they thought they had a real advantage in a certain area. I know all about Barrera but another thing that might be telling is the cut that MAB got a few weeks ago from some no-name in Mexico. Needless fight for him to take and would be ironic if that could play some part tonight. On another topic, I've had a f*cking nightmare ordering this card, not got a phone line hooked up to the Sky so have had to try and order over the phone.. 45mins after the card starts I finally reach someone by phoning the Upgrade line! Absolute disgrace the way all the phone lines were blocked, completely missed the Cook fight and probably spent a fortune on the mobile ringing dead end numbers and going through all the f*cking 'press 1 for x, press 2 for y' routines. In the end they f*cking charged me a quid extra to order over the phone aswell!

    Re: Darts: Premier League Week 6 Match to Produce Most 180s - Barneveld vs. King (10pts) 2.75 @ StanJames Over 6.5 180s - Barneveld vs. King (10pts) 1.80 @ SkyBet Don't usually post in this but I really fancy these, the main competition for the most 180s would seem to come from Wade/Jenkins but Jenkins was awful last week and Wade can have days where he hardly hits any at all. Think this is a pretty good price with the in form player of the league and Barny who can smash it on his own if he's in the mood. I really like that 'Over 6.5 180s' in the game too at a pretty good price, either player could well hit 7 on their own..

Thought Thaxton got screwed at the beginning of the fight, it was pretty heads up of the Frenchman to do that but he looked gone to me. After that though Thaxton faded badly. Didn't see Barney, what happened? Wonder if Mayweather will respond to Marquez calling him out..

    Re: Boxing weekend 27feb F*cking strange fight, looked like Skelton was easing to a win towards the end and Rogan looked completely gassed. Don't know how Skelton stayed on his feet in the middle rounds though, think any oher heavyweight would have folded about 5 or 6 times during that one. Gutted for Skelton, if he doesn't get a rematch we might not see him on telly again. Rogan is so frustrating, he doesn't own a jab, can't box at range and yet outpointed an Olympic Gold medallist and now KO'd the iron chin Skelton. He's strong and resilient with a great heart. Can't help thinking Skelton could have easily won that though if he'd been more sensible. Maybe the 42 yrs have finally caught up with him. He's a legend and a great fighter in a number of disciplines, Rogan hasn't got a tenth of the skill Skelton has but credit to him for continuing to win how he does!

    Re: Uefa Cup 26/2/2009 Some bets I have picked out for the Villa game CSKA to bt. A Villa 1.73 @ Bluesq 10pts CSKA to bt. A Villa -1 3.25 @ Skybet 10pts CSKA to bt. A Villa -2 6.5 @ PaddyPower 3pts Can't believe that this team is being sent out, the big misses for me are the front three and Barry. Can't see how the midfield are going to create anything for the forwards, CSKA showed they can be dangerous last week. This almost looks too good to be true, think these prices will disappear by Thursday.
