  1. Had a horrible start with a 79, and despite being ten shots better in the second round missed the cut by 1
  2. Fascinating race Can Benoit really get the Fav home on...his first turf ride! Can Eastern World back up that big priced Meydan win? Have to admit am already on at 20-1 for the Appleby horse who did me a big favour that day and fits the profile of a Group rated recent winner Also taken the 25's on another similar type who was also in my "Follow" thread in Man Of The Night and though this trip not ideal has a big pay day in him What about another old friend in Orbaan who owes me nothing after his big priced York win, but has disappointed since. However could not let him after his breathing operation go unbacked at 40-1 Good Luck
  3. Won easier than the 1/2 length distance Still a big baby and will do better when on the grass
  4. Seasonal debut tomorrow at Dundalk [4.55] Surprised not going on the turf but is up in trip, and will be a warm order with a first show of 6-5
  5. Been watching closely the training career of Donnacha O'Brien who I think as his breeding suggests has a bright future ahead of him Like that unlike his brother Joseph he is not interested in the jumping game or middle of the road handicappers, its all about quality and its telling that he had no runners from November till last week as he nurtures his yet to race 3 year old's especially . Think we can expect some of them to turn out very nicely like the colt Shinsengumi, though I did think his Emporio looked a horse to follow this year after finishing all his three races in 2nd Worth remembering though that his big race wins last season came with fillies, so watch out for Absolutely who they could not believe got beat on her debut and Igraine who gave me the impression she would be stronger this year same as Oh So Fine who is owned by the "lads"
  6. All ran Okay without success, especially the final bet who was unlucky while the first did not stay but no excuses for the second bet
  7. Good luck today Each way plays on some outsiders in Hong Kong today 11.15-Wonder Express @ 20-1 [4 places] William Hill 11.45-Wind Glider @ 20-1 [4 places] William Hill 1.45-Island Shine @ 33-1 [4 places] Skybet
  8. 140-1 for Yu this week is a bit of value with Bet 365
  9. Weak in the market [3-1] and never got involved after being impeded at the start Boudot had his arms high throughout the race so not much effort today! Horse does need a middle distance and its noticeable that stable unraced 3 year old's are needing their first run this season
  10. 1.20-Haut En Couleurs 1.55-Champagne Gold 2.30-Threeunderthrufive 3.05-Native River 3.40-Stand Up And Fight 4.15-Magic Of Light 4.50-Folcano
  11. Good luck 4.50-Fire Attack Joseph O.Brien has hit the bar a few times at the meeting this week, but the best could be saved to the last Like the jockey booking in this Conditional race of one of his old jockeys Oakley Brown who is now over here Each Way [5 places] @ 14-1 with Paddy Power
  12. Debut is tomorrow at Fontainebleau [1.05] Bet 365 taking no chances with a first show of 15-8
  13. 1.20-Chatham Street Lad 1.55-Come On Teddy 2.30-Mister Fisher 3.05-Fury Road 3.40-Mister Whitaker 4.15-The Glancing Queen 4.50-Morning Vicar
  14. Watson horse won easily but Ridgeway after being backed into favoritism and matching strides with the winner stopped quickly in the straight, so who knows what went wrong there
  15. Seasonal debut is tomorrow at Kempton [5.45] Put in at 7-4...not eased despite big punt on the Watson newcomer from 3-1 into 11-10!
  16. 2.30-Guard Your Dreams 3.05-First Flow 3.40-Out Sam 4.15-Us And Them 4.50-Grangee
  17. 1.20-Blue Lord 1.55-Shishkin 2.30-Alnadam 3.05-Sharjah 3.40-Great White Shark 4.15-Nassalam 4.50-Soldier Of Love
  18. yes you are probably correct, be interested to see the horse on turf next
  19. Well the money came...and again disappointed No blame on the jockey today, got the horse in a good position early though did not see much daylight in last half furlong Shaped like a step up in trip would be of benefit, and then we might see what his backers think the horse is capable of!
  20. Same jockey rides Silastar again tomorrow at Chantilly [1.50] Be interesting if the money comes for the third race in a row, but the current 9-1 appeals each way with Bet 365
  21. Non Runner! Is it me or is the Festival looking not the same this year as the day one declarations coming through are disappointing with small select fields compared to previous years
  22. Non Runner due to a temperature
  23. Got a couple of entries on Saturday which I would imagine would be his last run of the current campaign Would probably go to Ayr as Brian Hughes would ride with the North getting behind him to retain his jockeys championship
  24. Tied 19th and but for a horror 3rd round would probably have placed But signs her game is coming back and any 3 figure odds next time should be snapped up
