Re: Best Bet Of The Day | Thu 7th Feb My bet of the day is : FLEETWOOD FOREST 2.10 HUNTINGDON (0.5 E/W )..A chance is taken with the tip as he would need to have a "going day" as he has proved to be somewhat moody.Trainer,Alan King has kept him off the track for nearly 9 months which may point to problems in the past which have affected his form.The encouraging thing is that the horse has performed well when returning from a long absence and he would have the beating of the opposition if putting his best foot forward.He likes the track and has won at the trip and is generally available at around 11/2..:ok

Re: Best Bet of The Day | Wed 6th Feb My bet of the day is : SUPER FRANK 3.35 LINGFIELD (0.5 E/W )..The tip was a B/F last time out ruining his chance when stumbling from the gate and losing a few lengths.He still ran on at the finish and was only beaten just over a length into 2nd.Already a C/D winner he can at least make the frame if breaking on level terms..:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Sunday 3rd My bet of the day is : RISQUE HEIGHTS 3.20 KEMPTON(0.5E/W)..The selection looks nailed on for at least a place at odds of around 8/1.It has been given too much to do in it's last couple of outings and needs to be ridden closer to the pace.It has won over a longer trip but is sired by a top miler and with stamina doubts surrounding some of the opposition it surely must go close..:ok

Re: Best bet of the day Sat 2nd Feb My bet of the day is : SILVERBURN 3.10 SANDOWN(1.0 WIN)..I fancy this one to get off the mark for the season today.He enjoys a pull at the weights with Hobbs Hill(Fav) who beat Silverburn on the selections seasonal debut.The selection has never won first time out and generally needs a couple of runs to get him race fit.He runs well around Sandown and I reckon he should go very close today...:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day 27/1/08 My bet of the day is : HIGH FIVE 3.15 KELSO(1.0 WIN)..The selection has put in some good efforts this season even in defeat.He is sure to get the trip,a remark that does not apply to a large number of today's opponents.He ran well for a long way at Hexham(4 miles) and was clear only to UR a couple of runs back.He is still on a favourable mark and must go close..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day-26/1/08 My original selection is a non-runner.Not sure if I am allowed to post another selection but if I am it is : HOLLOW POINT 8.20 WOLVE (1.0 WIN )..The reason for this pick is I believe Hollow Point will appreciate the step up in distance more than Ledgerwood(paper fav) who just got home over a mile last time out..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day-26/1/08 My bet of the day is : OUR ARMAGEDDON 3.00 DONC.(0.5 E/W)...A chance is taken with this selection in the hope it can recapture some of it's old form.It won nicely at the back end of last season and is a former Cheltenham festival winner.It wont mind the ground and get's in this race with a nice weight.With 4 places up for grabs and must have a chance of making the frame....:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day 25/01/08 My bet of the day is : KANDJAR D'ALLIER 3.50 NEWBURY(0.5 E/W)..The selection ran well last time out and only faded on the run-in ( up the hill) at Cheltenham.That race was over 3m2f and this shorter trip should suit.This represents a slight drop in class and a place at least looks on the cards..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day 24/1/08 My bet of the day is : O'Maley 2.50 Fontwell (1.0 Win)..I am always wary of tipping a horse in a novice chase but today,s selection is given a confident vote..He jumped really well on his last run and improvement is expected but a reproduction of that performance should see him in the winners enclosure here.Air force one(forecast fav) is not the most fluent of jumpers and O'Maley may well take command early and force the Fav into making errors...:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day 23/01/08 My bet of the day is : WINGED FLIGHT.3.20 LINGFIELD(1.0 WIN)..The selection has run some poor races on it,s last few outings giving the impression that it not entirely genuine..However,Mark Johnston has had this horse off the track for 10 weeks and he may well have rekindled his enthusiasm for the game.This race represents a drop in class and the application of first time blinkers may just do the trick..:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day 22/01/08 My bet of the day is: CALCULATING.3.00 SOUTHWELL(E/W)..The selection went into the note book when easily winning 10 days ago by a margin of 9 lengths.The manor of the victory showed that there was plenty left in the tank and the extra furlong today should pose no problems.This race is a step up in class and the Prescott/Sanders combination is always a threat but I can see Calculating being involved at the "business" end of the race..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day 21/1/08 My bet of the day is:WELL SAVED..1.10.FOLKESTONE(E/W)..The selection has yet to show any real form this season but there are excuses.It ran over 2m5f on it,s last start and was PU when failing to stay.Today,s shorter trip added to a drop in class should bring about an improved performance.With stamina doubts surrounding a number of the other runners a place in the frame is the least we can expect.Forecast early SP is around 12/1..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day 20/1/08 :okMy bet of the day is: GRAND PALACE..4.50.WOLVERHAMPTON..1.0 WIN..The selection will appreciate the return to this track after it was "turned over" at Southwell last time out.It is a course winner and always runs well here.The only ride at the meeting for Dean Mckeown.The early 4/1 should be taken.

Re: Bet of the day 19th My bet of the day is: WANNABE FREE 2.25 LINGFIELD (E/W)..The selection was a BF last time out over a distance that did not really suit.I think todays,s trip will see this horse go close.Boomtown makes a very quick reappearance which may not be ideal and Contessina has already finished behind the selection(although it is slightly better off at the weights)..:ok

I backed this one last time out at Wolverhampton when it just failed to catch the winner.Looking back at the race I was left wondering if it was acting on the surface.It makes a quick reappearance today at Southwell where it has already won over C/D.It would be a surprise if it did not at least reach the frame.:ok
