I like to have a punt on the footie at weekends and normally opt for a double or a treble.I have decided to post my selections and will give a brief reason behind the picks.I will start with a mythical bank of £100 and we will see what happens...:hope.

(0.5 E/W)..The selection returns to the track where it has never finished out of the frame in 3 attempts.It's last win came here nearly 2 years ago and that was off a mark of 117.Today's conditions are ideal and the horse is ridden by a useful claimer...Priced around 12/1..:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Saturday 07/06/08 KANDAHAR RUN.4.00 EPSOM(0.5E/W)...The selection won pulling up LTO and is guaranteed to get the trip.That's a remark which will not apply to many of it's more fancied rivals.In what appears to be a very open Derby,I reckon it's worth an E/W punt at around 16/1..:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Friday 6th PRINCE OF LIGHT..2.10 EPSOM(0.5 E/W)...The selection was rather disappointing last term and as a result gets in here on a good mark.Highly tried last season which culminated in a poor showing in a Group 1 at Ascot over 10 furlongs in which he faded inside the last two.He has since been gelded which can often sharpen them up and I reckon he could be E/W value today over this shorter trip...Priced around 20/1..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day Thurs 5th June OVERTURN 7.50 SANDOWN(1.0 WIN)...The stable have found a nice easy race for the selection's return to the racetrack.This one has been off the track for 20 months after running below par in a Group 3 at Ascot.The opposition tonight are pretty average and if this one is fully wound up then he should take all the beating...:ok....SORRY BH FOR MISSING MOST OF LAST MONTH DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS BUT WILL BE BACK POSTING ON A REGULAR BASIS NOW.....I BET YOU HAVE ALL MISSED MY FANTASTIC TIPS.:lol:lol:lol

Re: Best Bet of the Day - Monday 19th May ALWAYS CERTAIN 7.50 WOLVERHAMPTON(1.0 WIN)...The selection has not yet lived up to expectation...Twice sent off at long odds on earlier this year only to disappoint(seems ungenuine).Top on official ratings in this race tonight and a slight ease in weight MIGHT see this animal perform...BUT WITH MY RECORD AT PRESENT IT'LL PROBABLY TRAIL IN LAST!!!:lol:lol

Re: Best bet of the day 14th May GOOD OLD DAYS 8.40 PERTH..(1.0 WIN)...I backed this one LTO and it performed badly but the jockey never really got serious with it.Tonight it has to carry a few pound less and I will give it another chance.Priced at around 11/2..:ok

A fast improving horse who is still on an attractive mark.Won well last month at Plumpton and the 2nd went on to "frank the form"..Being aimed at the Topham chase so would need to put up a good show tonight....:ok

Some of you may remember the info I passed on about NATAL(bolted up) a couple of weeks ago..Today I have been given the "nod" about Red Moloney BUT I was advised to back it E/W. My source stated that she had taken some serious E/W bets for the animal and Hills have now told her that they must be informed if the punt continues for good money in her shop.I had already bet on Zaham in the race but I have had an E/W saver on the tip..I would just like to say that I am only passing on this info as we are all trying to take the bookie for a few quid but if things don't go to plan please don't shoot the messenger...:ok

My Bet of the Day is : NAUNTON BROOK 3.30 UTTOX(0.5 E/W)..The tip ran well LTO to finish 2nd to Neptune Collonge in a C1 race.He was fancied that day and plugged on for the runner up spot when others had cried enough.The 4m trip today will pose no problems nor will the ground and jockey David England will take a handy 3lb off..He will probably be in the firing line from the off and could well represent a cracking E/W bet at odds of around 12/1..:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Friday 14th My Bet of the Day is : HALCON GENELARDAIS 3.30 CHELT(0.5E/W)..The tip ran a cracker LTO in the Welsh National over 3m5f.He just got caught on the run-in carrying 11st 12lb and giving lumps of weight to the opposition..The 3m2f trip will take some "getting" today with the ground riding soft but it wont pose any problems for the selection..Could be good E/W value..:ok

Re: Best Bet of the Day-Wednesday 12th March My Bet of the Day is : OSCAR PARK 2.35 CHELT.(0.5 E/W)..The selection has been impressive in his last 2 races especially LTO.He cruised to victory slamming Dr Hart by 20 lengths, and that horse well and truly franked the form last week when he had the race won at the 2nd last before running out a 12 length winner..I reckon that at odds of around 10/1 make Oscar Park is a cracking E/W bet..:ok
