My Bet of the Day is : LOVELACE 2.25 WOLVERHAMPTON ( 1.0 WIN )..The tip looks to have a lot in it's favour today IF it can transfer turf form to the A/W.Won a Group 3 last season at Goodwood over this trip and goes well fresh.Mark Johnston's horses are flying at present and this one will be fit enough to put up a bold show..Available at around 4/1..:ok

Great call Bigs...:clap:clap:clapCarlisle 15:45 - Super Road Train E/W (Currently 7/1) I tipped this horse when it was a non runner a few days ago. It's a very decent horse, drops in class from 2 to 4, but has proven form over C&D, and it wont have problems with ground. It's a decent race overall, but it as a very useful claimer on board taking 7lbs off him. I reckon it can go close and has every chance. -
Re: Best Bet of the Day - Thur 6/3/08 My Bet of the Day is : DR HART 3.05 LINGFIELD ( 1.0 WIN )..The tip stayed on well over 2m6f to finish 2nd to Oscar Park in a Class 3 event LTO..The return to 3m today looks ideal as he has already been successful at this distance.With stamina doubts about some of today's rivals,Dr Hart can go close..:ok

My Bet of the Day is : AUTUMN GALE 3.40 LINGFIELD ( 1.0 WIN )..A nicely bred unraced 3yo from the Mark Johnston stable.The trainer is flying at the moment and does well here with horses making their racecourse debut.The market may provide the best clues but no surprise to see this one in the winners enclosure.Trainers only runner of the day..:ok

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Tues 4th March My Bet of the Day is : LIKE A BEE 3.30 EXETER ( 0.5 E/W )...The selection ran an encouraging race LTO.He made good headway and looked as though he would be involved in the "shake up" but finally succumbed under a welterweight of 11st11lb.I think he will find today's trip and easier track more to his liking plus he carries only 10st 7lb...Excellent E/W claims..:ok

My Bet of the Day is : COPPERBOTTOMED 2.50 WOLVERHAMPTON (1.0 WIN )..The selection was " tapped for toe " LTO over 6f when appearing to have every chance.It gave me the impression that he needs to be ridden with more urgency and he can get that with Jamie Spencer in the saddle today.The trainer's 3 year old's have a 36% strike rate and this one can go close..:ok

Great shout Ted,it's been a good day...:clap:clap:clap2.40 HIDDEN BOUNTY e/w 10/1 ia in good form and looks sure to go well in the pensioners outing! 3.15 The ground may not be ideal for kALCA MOME but 25/1 e/w is far to big for a horse who beat Voy Por Ustedes at the start of the season. 3.50 I like TROUBLE AT BAY 10/1 e/w in this.Has not been at his best so far this season.Has won here on the flat and i think it will run a big race here today. 4.25 I am going to play two win bets here.PEN GWEN 10/1 who may be hard to catch from the front and blinkered for the first time the pipe trained 18/1 ROYAL RATIONALE. -

Re: Newbury Sat 1st March 3.15 NATAL...I HAVE JUST BEEN TO MY LOCAL W.HILLS AND THE MANAGERESS PASSED ME ON SOME INFO ABOUT THIS HORSE.SHE HAD RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM HEAD OFFICE INSTRUCTING HER NOT TO TAKE BETS OVER £200 FOR NATAL AS HILLS HAD TAKEN BIG WAGERS EARLY THIS MORNING FROM SOME KNOWN FACES(BEFORE THE MORNING LINE CH 4).THE PRICE HAS BEEN CUT FROM 9/2 INTO 7/2 BUT APPARENTLY THE PLUNGE CONTINUES.THIS IS ONLY THE 3RD OCCASION IN 4 YEARS THAT SHE HAS DISCLOSED THIS INFO TO ME AND SO FAR IT HAS PROVED CORRECT....

My Bet of the Day is : SO NOW 5.25 NEWBURY ( 1.0 WIN )..The selection is back at a more favourable trip and can take advantage.Only success came in a point-to-point in Ireland in sticky ground and he will see out every yard of the3m.Good amateur in the saddle who is well regarded by the trainer....the tip can go close..:ok

My Bet of the Day is : APACHE DAWN 9.20 KEMPTON ( 1.0 WIN )..I backed this one LTO and it was a BF.It stumbled coming out of the stalls and that effectively ended it's race.Previous to that it had run well over a mile and tonight's trip (7f) will be ideal as it has already won at this distance.I reckon it can go close at odds of around 9/2..:ok

My Best Bet of the Day is : NO COMPLAINT 4.50 LEICESTER ( 0.5 E/W )..The selection found 3m too far LTO on heavy ground and the return to 2m4f will be more favourable.It had decent form last year at this sort of distance and in this grade and had entries for 2 class 3 races this week, but the trainer has opted to take his chance in this easier event.The stable has a reasonable strike rate with chasers at this track and PJ Brennan takes the mount(usually ridden by AP McCoy)..F/C 8/1..:ok
