Re: York (Ebor Festival - Day 2) - Wednesday 18th August 2:50 Trade Storm @ 50/1 E-W bet365 Worth a few quid each way at big odds, has improved with each run so far needs to improve alot more but may well do so has been given a break of 69 days and has another entry in a group 3 at sandown on saturday just thought it was interesting.

Re: York (Ebor Festival - Day 2) - Wednesday 18th August 1:45 Chilly Filly @ 15/2 sportingbet Really like this horse, progressing nicely since stepped up to 12 furlongs last year and looked even better last time over 14 furlongs where she was worth more than the winning margin, up 9 pounds for that and drop back to 12 furlongs a slight worry but has been really consistent and should have more improvement.
-
Re: York (Ebor Festival - Day 1) - Tuesday 17th August 4:40 HANSON'D @ 20\1 E-W LADBROKES Not ran badly against higher rated rivals since maiden win, partically last time when improved for step up to 10 furlongs, down 4 pounds for that, trainer is amongst the winners recently and fallon is onboard.

Re: YORK~TUE 17TH 1:45 CHEVETON @ 11/1 E-W Ladbrokes BOG Taking a chance on this one as the forcast is for rain in the early morning. The selection needs ground conditions with soft in it to show his best form. Has been disapointing this year apart from when he had soft ground two runs back and came 3rd (raised 2 pounds for that), still 4 pounds below last winning mark and 5 furlongs is his optimum trip. If or when:hope the ground softens there wont be 11\1 tomorrow.
-
Re: Windsor (eve) - Monday 16th August 7:10 - Cabal @ 5/1 bet365 competetive race but Cabal seems to have good claims here, handles soft ground aswell as firm and is consistent being placed in all starts in his career. looks a decent e-w to nothing bet

Re: Kempton - Monday 16th August 3:30 Kempton - MUSTAKMIL @ 8/1 e-w Bet365 Only had 8 starts, looked slightly progressive last year, has won over c&d and only been out of the places 3 times, twice at 10 furlongs which could be too far and once on return just over a month ago he was entitle to need that. Should go well from a good draw.

Re: Haydock 9/8/08 1:25 Webbow 10.5 @ betfair - 3.25 @ betfair for a place. Lightly raced, won 3 of his 5 outings last year, not disgraced on return this year 49 days ago when close up 4th of 5 and should come on for that. Has a good turn of foot and has every chance if race is run to suit, ground no problem and goes well for this jockey. This a competetive race but i think he should atleast get a place.

Re: Think You Can Beat Victor??? Your selections are: 1st Selection: Barney McGrew 2nd Selection: Spes Ultima 3rd Selection: Lush Lashes :hope:beer

Re: Watching the racing through betfair im not sure what the difference is maybe just for slower pc's just click the different setting while you watch a race and see if it improves thats all i did:)
-
Re: Watching the racing through betfair not tried vc so dont know if they offer different settings but on bet365 they have 4 different settings which a couple are really jumpy or just freeze completley for me but setting number 3 is usually pretty good:ok
-
Re: where to find... thanks for replies. looks like they dont have the same as the RP paper i think its called "race check" to see the winners and places from previous raaces.
-
Re: Watching the racing through betfair i have same problem on betfair so i use the streams the bookies offer as long as you bet £5 or more you can veiw the race. i usually use bet365 as they pay sp if its higher than what you have taken
-
just wondering anyone can tell where i can find previous race times and how many winners has come from previous races that a horse has run in? and any other stats that can help me pick some winners or anything you find really helpful in making your selctions. thanks:)

Re: Turkish Grand Prix 11th May im thinking same, Massa loves this track and hopefully he can get the win again this year.

Re: World Snooker Championships whats happened to ryan day haven't had a chance to watch any snooker today, hendry is kicking his butt:wall
-
Re: World Snooker Championships what a match that was!!!!
-
Re: World Snooker Championships not going too well for me so far with Ding beating Fu then loosing to Hendry and Higgins going out too.:@ In the first quarter final is Hendry v Day with Hendry being slight favourite, i thought it would be the other way round so Ryan Day @ 2.00 looks good. Hendry is playing well but i think he got lucky against Ding, hes been knocking some nice long pots in and when he gets amongst the balls around the black he been good but then suddenly he just seems to miss random pots which you expect him to get. Day has been good allround in his match against Higgins apart from the slow start he played well all the way througheven though Higgins sort of struggled towards the end. Cant find a hanicap on any bookies for Day but betfair has -2.5 frames but no odds up yet so i'll probably take that aswell if the price is right!:hope
-
Re: World Snooker Championships nice fluke, think Ding could do with abit luck like that hes 10-2 down and hendry isn't exactly playing that well. Ding just hasnt turned up:wall its an absolute joke!!!:puke

Re: World Snooker Championships Agree with what Sir Fernando says on the Higgins match but im just gonna take Higgins @ 1.56 on betfair to be abit safer. im going to take a chance on the king v ebdon match and go for Result After 8 Frames and Final Result King - King @ 5.00 Bet365 ebdon had abit slow start in his round one match and think he will have a tougher game here. King should be full of confidence after his first game and i think he has a real chance here and if he is winning after 8 frames theres maybe a chance to have a saver in running on ebdon just in case he comes back like in first round. also going to go for Perry @ 1.58 to beat Bingham. Bingham will have to improve alot from his first match against davis which turned out to be a really scrappy game with both players having lots of chances and not taking advantage of them, Perry wont give Bingham so many chances and hopefully take advantage of his mistakes more than davis did. also going to take Ding Junhui and Liang Wen Bo to win their second round matches both had good performance in the the first round and should they perform aswell again here should get the win. taken all four favs in accy aswell John Higgins @ 1.50 Ding Junhui @ 1.44 Joe Perry @ 1.50 Liang Wen Bo @ 1.61 pays 5.25 @ bet365

Re: World Snooker Championships
Marco Fu @ 2.5 to beat Ding Junhui is abit of value imo' date= Marco has had a much better season than Ding reaching the semi-final in the masters and in winning the grand prix. There last meeting at the masters Marco came out on top and can do again here. If Ding comes out and plays his best game then he deserves to be favourite but he hasn't exactly shown much lately. I just think they should be more evenly matched on current form.:hope:wall:wall:wall was a good competetive match and hard to predict the winner all the way through but ding just edged it in the end. even though Ken doherty is playing badly Liang Wenbo looks a very good player, and looks to be cruising to the next round unless Ken does something special later on. any one know anything about about Ronnies first round opponent? because if hes anything like Wenbo he could give Ronnie a good match if hes having a bad day and the +5.5 frames could look a good bet -
Re: World Snooker Championships dont think much is wrong with selby just king is playing quite well. quite impressed with mark williams performance so far too. his opponent isn't putting up a challenge but he does seem to be playing well and confident. was thinking of backing him outright at 33s but it looks like he'll meet ronnie in the next round:unsure

Re: Flat Racing ~Wed 8th Sept 3:10 Doncaster - Captain Dunne @ 9/1 E-W ladbrokes I think Tax Free, Star Rover and Captain Dunne have chances here but with Star Rover not favoured by the weights i'll go with Captain Dunne over Tax Free on the prices. The selection has ran well at the track before over 6 furlongs should have no problem with the ground and has a good draw. Jockey and the stable are in good form especially when they team up together.
