  1. Re: Longest Travellers System Taken some early prices all with BOG firms as sometimes the selections do seem to shorten up in the market 23/5/11 Flat Carlisle Monicalew Walter Swinburn 03:30 279 -3k Rainbows Reach Gay Kelleway 03:30 270 - 3k Leicester George Thisby Rod Millman 02:15 183 - 2k - 20/1 Thirsk Akinndi (IRE) Evan Williams 09:00 251 - 2k - 12/1 Homeboy (IRE) Marcus Tregoning 07:30 225 - 4k - 14/1 Indian Lizzy Paul Cole 07:00 224 - 2.9k Haljaferia (UAE) David Elsworth 08:00 185 - 4k - 15/2

  2. Re: BBOTD; Sunday 22nd May 3:00 Fakenham - KELTIC LORD @ 9/2 Bet365 Ran well lto when 3rd on return from break, that race was ran in a quick time and the winner has ran well again since, should be fitter for the run and is now back on his last winning mark. This trainer and jockey have 20% strike rate when they team up and show a decent level stake profit even excluding a 40/1 winner the other day. Ground is no problem and 9/2 looks fair price for the 15 year old to get his head infront today.

  3. Re: Longest Travellers System Going to have another go at this, on the flat was in profit when i stopped, jumps was poor but should be easier to keep up with it now its less meetings. Some slight changes again so here are the current rules: 1) Trainers only runner to travel over 170 miles 2) Prize money range is 2k to 10k 3) Stake is 1pt win on each selection @ SP Reasons for not having prize money under 2k is that it was showing a big loss maybe because the horses that run in these value races are very inconsistent and tend to take turns in winning and usually NHF races are under 2k also. 1pt win stakes i will try as its easier for me to record the results as i don't have much time to do this.:beer

  4. Re: BBOTD 16th May 6:40 leicester - ALWAYS ENDS WELL @ 25/1 e-w Bet365 Worth chancing this 1 at a decent price, was dissapointing lto when evens fav but ran a decent 2nd before that run. Yard in decent enough form with their juveniles.

  5. Re: BBOTD Saturday 14th 2:35 Newbury - SECRET WITNESS @ 25/1 e-w Bet365 Very consistent last year and ran some great races especially in a group 3 at Ascot when 3rd surrounded by 100+ rated horses. Hasn't won since this time last year and is now 18lb higher due to his consistancy. Dissapointed last time but that can be forgiven on seasonal reappearance and should be better for that. If he runs up to the ability he showed last year he should be thereabouts and theres nothing to say he wont improve a little bit as he seemed to last year. negative would be the yards not in form but deffinately worth a punt at the price was 28s a ladbrokes earlier.

  6. Re: BBOTD - Mon 9th May 7:30 Towcester - ALFLORAMOORE @ 15/2 PP Not far behind 2 of these lto when returning from a break when looked like just ran out of steam, and if better form that run can reverse the placings here with a pull in the weights too. Only 2lb higher than for last win and conditions no problem.

  7. Re: BBOTD Saturday 16th 3:25 Ayr - NEPTUNE EQUESTER @ 20/1 I think i put this horse up a while back over hurdles when it ran well to come 2nd. I thought that day that the trainer could aiming the horse towards a decent handicap at some point and here we are. The trainer Brian Ellison places his horses pretty well and is worth an e-w punt at the price. The selection is out of the weights like many are in the race but has form on the ground and no obvious reason why he shouldn't stay the distance as he usually staying on at the finish. Also like the look of his other runner at Ayr today ELITE LAND for an e-w double.

  8. Re: BBOTD - Wednesday 3:50 Haydock - NICEENE CREED @ 5/1 VC Ran poorly last time after a couple of months break but if you can forget that has a great chance here today. His best efforts have come on good ground which he gets today and still looks open to plenty of improvement with these conditions.

  9. 5:20 Exeter - BEN CEE PEE M @ 16/1 e-w VC Looked to get abit out paced last time but did keep plugging on for 4th place, stepped up in trip again today and this testing track could bring out the best of him. He won his bumper at Towcester which is very testing track on good to firm so the good ground today may also suit him.

  10. Re: BBOTD 19th March 1:55 Uttoxeter - MORNING FAREWELL @ 25/1 e-w Ladbrokes Went well enough after a long break last time and comes here after 143 day off, had first time cheekpieces that day and will wear them again here with first time tongue tie. Has top weight here but decent jockey takes 3lb off which should make it easier and looks a good e-w bet at 25s.

  11. Re: 2011 Challenge - Multiples target 1000pt return e-w L15 @ VC All at Cheltenham 3:20 - KYBER KIM @ 12/1 - Ran a great race in this last year for 2nd and if he's in the same sort of form could go one better here today, conditions no problem and looks a decent price to me. 2:40 - REVE DE SIVOLA @ 17/2 - Not so good lto but decent efforts here before that and step up in trip should suit as he often gets out paced and stays on up the hill. 1:30 - MARSH WARBLER - Game win lto and is worth a try in this company, probably needs a little bit more but he is still open to improvent after only 4 hurdle starts and he receives weight allround as he gets 4year old allowance 4:00 - POKER DE SIVOLA @ 9/1 - Won a 4 mile contest here last year and could well have been laid out for this race, ground is fine and if taking to the cross country course should have a good chance, same jockey rides again here as for the win at last years festival.

  12. Re: BBOTD Sunday 13th March 4:05 Warwick - JUSTABOUT @ 9/1 e-w Hills Dissapointing lto and if you forget that run he looks to have a decent chance here on previous form, ground will suit and trainers horses are running well. Has had a short break of 73 days to freshen him up.
