  1. On page 22, El Blondie has written an article on what can be described at the moment as the Punter's Lounge spiritual home of live poker on PL racedays etc......Barry's. I'll say no more, it's only one page, but it makes decent reading whether you've been there or not. God I love that place! :dude

  2. Re: Poker cheat gets banned for life I'm in stitches at that:rollin That bit about using his 24,000 FTP points for the baseball shirt with "Hitler" on the back and wearing it at the weekly game to impress everyone is just genius:rollin

  3. Re: Brighton Live Game - Sep 15th - Important *****Hotels Update***** I quite fancy popping down to Watford:ok No prizes for why Paul likes the sound of a poker night in a snooker club.:tongue2 He knows he'll be first out of the poker as per usual, then he'll be off to hustle on the snooker tables :loon I think I best bring my stick with me! :dude

  4. Re: Home Game - July 27th - Kent I really do apologise folks, but i'll have to give this a miss i'm afraid. I'm still feeling the effects after the operation I had last weekend, and i've also had confirmation today that we're exchanging contracts on Friday for the sale of our house. I'll make it next time hopefully:hope Have a fantastic night and sink a few for me!:cheers

  5. Re: BBC Vs Channel 4 Not a fan of the Beebs coverage, I can't stand Carson one bit but I think Claire Balding comes in for a lot of unjustified stick. She's got racing in her blood and is as knowledgabe as they come but I don't think she gets taken seriously, simply because she's a female. Channel 4 is good and as you say, the Cheltenham coverage is exceptional with some awesome camera work.

  6. Re: Elite League Speedway 18th June, Wolves Vs Swindon. daz, I took this from speedwayworld........

The Robins will be without four of their seven riders due to a combination of injuries and illnesses. With Mads Korneliussen already on the sidelines due to a hand injury, Swindon have now lost the services of Tomasz Chrzanowski (tonsilitis), Lee Richardson (illness) and Andrew Moore (injury picked up in a short-track meeting). Robins boss Alun Rossiter has drafted in Chris Louis, Rusty Harrison and No.8 Tommy Allen as replacements for his missing riders.
14 points is still a hefty start and will take some overcoming but Wolves are at full strength and are pretty formidable at monmore losing only 1 of 8 at home. Very tough to call this one but I'll stick my neck out and say Wolves to beat the h'cap given Swindon will be without key riders. Lets hope the weather holds out as it should be a great meeting :hope
  7. Re: Home Game ok guys, I can make it if it's on the 27th as I need to get back on the 28th. I also need to know exactly where it is so I can sort train times and stuff so whenever it's confirmed, can someone PM me the details please?
