  1. Re: Did I do the right thing? Hand 1: Right idea, punish the limpers, not convinced A5o is the best hand to do it with though, if you miss the flop you'll be out of position with not much equity. Hand 2: You can bet bigger on flop and turn to put more pressure on and give yourself a better price on calling any shove. Feel free to post more hands :ok

  2. Due to happen early 2013. Zynga has apparently millions of users on Facebook, it's great that they've partnered with a big company like Bwin who have the ability to market this really well to their player base. If done well it could be a really great move for online poker. There will be the doubters but even if they attract a tiny % of Zynga users to try real poker that will be a big boost to the economy. Hopefully they'll be able to advertise directly on Facebook - that would be eutopia, but as we know with the poker world and world in general it will probably be made a million times more difficult then it needs to be but overall this deal has to be a positive for the poker world. article: http://www.pokernewsdaily.com/zynga-bwin-party-partner-for-real-money-uk-offering-22726/

  3. Re: The ANTI-TILT Challenge I gave this piece of advice to someone recently i can't remember to who, maybe to someone on twitter. A technique to use if you tilt is to plan a session for example from 1pm to 2pm. Make sure you finish the session at exactly 2pm and make sure you concentrate on every hand in that session. Do it again for the next session. Rinse and repeat this :ok

  4. Re: PLO Meh don't like what i've seen of PLO this week. Played 9k hands which is a small sample overall but i don't see any winners even at 25plo. The nits are getting absolutely crushed into oblivion. Most people are playing 40vpip+ and i guess that's creating a lottery i don't know but the game is going to be too swingy to care about really. I'm obviously down 10buy-ins :D

  5. Re: PLO This is my graph so far at 10plo+25plo. Running miles above EV but +EV. That huge spike downwards was the start of yesterday, basically i was just watching too much highstakes and thought people were stacking off with less than the nuts (lol mistake). So i just got my grind on and went back to how i was playing before that and it ground it back and then some! Although i don't know omaha too well being vastly experienced from NLHE is a huge help in knowing when i'm playing terrible and how to play better. Just checked - i played 10hrs yesterday. Nearly got a 10BI stack on a table but only got to 9 in the end. YYGww.jpg

  6. Re: PLO PLO such a strange game. So much to say so little time. I just found out on a A2345 board KQ wins (i had KQ, it was 3 way and checked all the way down). Also there's some strange **** that confuses my brain when there's 3 of the same card on a board like 777xx or something like that where the winning hand is a ton smaller than it should appear. There's a few things like this which make me very happy with my decision to start off at micro-stakes! Have had a huge swing at 25plo that i'll show tomorrow!

  7. Re: PLO Ok true story time... when i first signed up on FullTilt 5 years ago the game i played first was... PLO. I wanted to emulate durrrr so i started out 4 tabling 25 or 50plo all that time ago. It went pretty bad so i switched to NLHE and the rest is history. I still love watching the high-stakes PLO on Stars does anyone else watch those games?

  8. Re: PLO Played about 2200 hands so far mostly at 10plo made 7 buy-ins probably running super hot, then made 3 buy-ins at 25plo but well over EV after this hand which i don't think is the worst play in the world, unless the guy behind me goes all-in too which he did. 9. Trying out PLO starting at microstakes so interested to hear what peoples beginners tips are and any random other info they want to give thanks.

  10. Re: Classic pokerstars If it had been a $1 tournament then i could feel your pain as they are rigged differently from freerolls. Freerolls make you lose all your money but very slowly just as your hand shows.

  11. Re: ISPT €20,000,000 Prizepool The logistics to do what they plan would be beyond ridiculous. The cynic in me thinks their plan is to see how much interest there is in this - hence announcing it 18months+ before the due date - see how much money they can generate from people putting deposits down for buying in well in advance. Then they do some (guess)estimates and projections to see how much money they will actually generate/ whether it will be profitable at all. Then they will gradually scale down the size of the events to a point where they'll be attempting to make a boat load of money out of something which will eventually turn out to be a tournament that is not much different from all the other normal casino based tournaments around the world. They bank any profit from the Wembley event, declare it 'not in their best interests' to continue a project of that scale and disappear into the sunset late 2013. The players that played see it as a 'learning experience'. The ones who didn't say 'i told you so'. And the poker community in general scratches their heads and wonders what that was all about and everything goes back to normal in 2014.
