Re: Sporting Odds March MTT League - Leg 7 out in 29th.. my KAs ran into Danny Cashs AA. When he called all in I thought we might at least have been in a race (KA v lower pair) but heart sank when the mighty bullets were flipped. Oh well, best result of this abysmal month in the tourney! When does April start!!! :wall :$

Re: What's your favourite site? Part 1 Martyn, when are you going to tell us what them "betfred points" are for? They've been visible for a few weeks now but with no info on what they're worth?
-
Re: What's your favourite site? Part 1 Pro, rose is talking about cash games where if you sit out and miss a round of blinds, then to get back into the game you have to post both blinds. In this situation, the small blind that you post is referred to as a 'dead' blind. This is from ultimatebets rules: If a player sits out in a game and misses the big and small blind, the player must post both blinds before being dealt another hand. If the player is not in the big blind position, he will be prompted to post the big and small blind and the big blind will be live and the small blind will be dead (meaning it doesn't count toward the player's bets on that round). the two of you are talking about different things.. ie. dead buttons is nothing to do with dead blinds

Re: What are the odds? sound advice phil. I think most people fail to realise that AK is essentially just an Ace high hand!!

Re: Sporting Odds March MTT League - Leg 6 lol kev... I just needed to let off a bit of steam. I just seem to be always card dead in this tourney and then when I do get anything, I end up with either nothing or getting knocked out. The luck will even itself out eventually! :hope :hope

Re: Sporting Odds March MTT League - Leg 6 sick of this tourney.....out in 45th :( I get one good hand (2nd of the tourney) but no-one to bet against. after that I get nob all apart from QQ that ends up all in against AJ, no A or J appears but the board makes a straight :puke . End up going out with KQ facing JT (why he called an all-in is beyond me) and a J flops, no K or Q and I'm out. jinxed I tell ya :sad

Re: What are the odds? Assuming unsuited cards: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 67.4610 % 67.23% 00.23% { AcKd } Hand 2: 32.5390 % 32.31% 00.23% { 9h3c } hmmm.. AK not a big a favourite as I expected. As regards to the safety net, I played in that earlier and was staggered by the amount of bad play that was getting rewarded. :cry

Re: Sporting Odds March MTT League - Leg 6 I'm in too

Re: Advice please...... As demonstrated the other night in the PL game, there is a condition called seven-two-off-itus which means that getting dealt this nefarious hand causes an immediate involuntary reaction that pushes all-in whether it be first hand of the tourney or on the final table. You can cannot adapt for this strategy!!
