Re: Hourly Free-Rolls, Value Tourneys + $$$
Wow, sounds like a hackers paradise! If the client software has the card information of the other players (which it must have for you to have seen them) then it won't be long till someone figures out how to get at them during normal play. :eekWhen I posted this up I originally forgot to mention that when you get moved tables in the free-rolls you can occasionally see another players cards. -
Re: time for a "private" ? 1st - Me, 2nd Big Andy, 3rd Gazza271 gg and fun as usual! No more for me though, work tomorrow :(

Re: Holiday weekend puzzle
I should have gone to specsavers.... :$ :$ KK then?I said apart from pocket aces. -
Re: Holiday weekend puzzle Surely you'd least like him to have pocket aces. I can't see any other hand putting you at a worse disadvantage?
-
Re: Holiday weekend puzzle yeah, it is slightly higher with Kings instead of Aces. Wonder why that is?

Re: Holiday weekend puzzle I'd guess something like Ad 8h and you change your cards to Ah Ac. This gives you a 93.62% chance of winning. You beat him on 3/4 flushes. Playing with other dominated hands to see if there is any difference in %'s Edit: Changing the 8h to 9h gives you a 94.081% chance of winning. Must something to with the straights that can be made.

Re: Holiday weekend puzzle to give exact numbers:
equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Player 1: 33.1995 % 01.29% 31.91% { 7h2c } Player 2: 34.0132 % 02.10% 31.91% { 7s2d } Player 3: 32.7873 % 00.87% 31.91% { 7c2s }

Re: Holiday weekend puzzle player 2 without a shadow of doubt for the flush reasons stated. Percentage wise there is little in it, but player 2 will win slighty more times than the others.

Re: Stealing Blinds - Min Requirements
I only ever go all-in preflop with AA' date=' so please remember to fold straight away:lol[/quote'] lol, yeah, please note than my mininum requirement is currently KK for blind stealing ;) ;) As regards position, I knew I'd left something out in the post. I'm interested in what you steal blinds with, when you are the button and the table has folded around to you. I'm guessing you're all going to tell me any two cards will do! -
I'm sure we all steal blinds at some point with, let's say, not the best cards this is without doubt. But what do you consider to at least a minimum hand with which to try it with in case someone actually calls you (or do you do it with anything)? Reason for my question is that I was watching (as I'm sure most of you all were too) the final table of the poker.co.uk challenge last night when Heniek made an all-in move against the blinds, only to be called by the small blind who was holding AKo. Heniek turned over 36s and I'm sure his heart must have been in his mouth at that point. Anyway, a 6 came on the flop, the AK didn't improve and Heniek doubled up and I believe that was a crucial point for the rest of the game for him. Now, I have fairly low limitations on what I'll try to blind steal with, but I doubt I'd ever do it with 36 suited or not? Should I be lowering my hand requirements or is this not the norm and Henieks just a nutter?? :unsure :tongue2 Thoughts?

Re: Poker.co.uk up to $4,000 added Inter-Forum Challenge out in 79th.. very disapointing tbh :( Went out with 77 vs AJ and he a straight on the river. I hate that. No probs if he hits an A or J as it's a coinflip, but really hate it when they make the straight. me....not annoyed...

Re: If you think YOU have ever made a really bad call..... That's just crazy. What on earth must have been going through his head to call that!?! If it was an online game, the site would be barring you for collusion of some kind!!
