Re: The Good and The Bad (We've Already Got Ugly Covered) best for me is when you get get to see the flop for free as BB holding some trash hand like 63o, and the flop comes 663 (or similar). You then proceed to mop up with it only to be insulted about why you were in the hand in the first place!!! ermm... you checked it round to me dumbass! :spank worst is having a really good hand AA, KK etc raising large and getting too many callers. The flop then comes something like 89Ts or QQJ and you just know there is a straight or trips out there and you have to lay it down :(

Did anyone else have problems getting into this? I've got the email saying that I qualified for it but have been unable to enter it (was getting a pop up that said it was restricted). I emailed (for various reasons it's not easy for me to phone them) their support 1½ hours before it started but no reply and it's started now :sad :sad

Played this on SO earlier today. Dealt QQ on the button Raise 4xBB All fold except BB, who calls Flop is: J J 2 BB bets 300. Do I call, raise or fold? I'm very slightly slightly short stacked, after his bet of 300 I have 1195, he has 970. Blinds are 50/100

With a pot of 1150 (400 raise + 400 call + 50 SB + 300 bet) I'm going all in here. You can't call/raise as you'll be pot committed whatever happens, might as well see all 5 cards if you get called. I put him on either a lower pair or something like AK. Of course he could also be holding AJ, KJ which is possible, but I think he would have gone all in on the flop if he had a jack. Double up time, I'm sure!

No nationality restrictions ;) They usually take place on the Prima network (bet365, 32red, dream etc) and are $3 buyin with a 50-30-20 payout. Keep an eye out for the threads on here about them, they're usually late at night though.

Re: Poker Tracker / Poker Office - Useful, worth the expenditure ? I prefer PokerOffice over Poker Tracker as I think that PT just goes a little too OTT with the stats for what I use. But either is certainly worth the money. However, they're only of any use really if you actually look at what they record for you (as an example, see GaF discovering that he plays TJ too often and loses $$ with it). The program itself won't tell you where you're going wrong.

Re: Late Night Freerolls thanks giz. unfortunately it needs 50 raked hands to play in, so not quite a freeroll. I've been looking on the US sites (timezones and alll that) and thet're all the same ie. you need a certain amount of raked hands/action points/player points etc to play in :(

If you could play a game of poker and you were given the choice of seeing a) all the board cards that are going to be dealt or b) the other players hole cards which would you choose? I'd take the hole cards I think as you will know exactly where you are as the board cards are dealt. You'll still get the bad beats but you should be able to win more than enough to compensate!

[Late Night Freerolls]

Do you guys know of any decent freerolls that start from about 9pm onwards? I find it really hard to play in most of the ones I know about from here (SO, Blue SQ etc..) as they start at around the same time as I'm trying to put the little un to bed and then have my tea after :( . Ideally looking for some that start sometime between 9 and 10? any help?
