Re: Where are the small buy-in STT's? I would agree with LBB. I use Bet 365 for the same reason as you're asking - low stakes. I'll be signing up to Laddies if the PL tourneys is moving there. See you tonight matey!

Re: Mentality for being a pro Thats an excellent post MM.:clap I've been playing fairly regulary for a couple of months. I fit the games in around work and social life so its more of a hobby at the mo but I 've always wondered how/when to take the next step. etc. I watch the poker on TV and always have the "it could be me" thoughts. I keep a record of all wins and losses etc and I run at around $100 profit which I'm more than happy with as I mainly play $5 STT. When/how do you take it up a notch? Does practice really make perfect?

A couple of us have been discussing this on another thread. See the link below http://www.worldpx.com/fhm/qualify.asp Basically, its a free to enter tourney that FHM are running to find the best "unknown" players. You need to win a prelim ten man single table tourney to get 20 "credits" to qualify for the semis. The prelims are running round the clock I think. Billys already won a prelim and I've just come second in another (giving me 10 out of the 20 credits needed). You can play as many times as you like!:ok Anyone else fancy having a go?:drums

I know I haven't played long and they may be a better option, but I reckon it would be two risky. straight as well as trip 8's and trip 7's would have frightened me off. I have no doubt they'll be more in depth opinions out there from the more experienced players rather than this humble one!:unsure

Re: What's Paradise Poker like for getting money in and out? I use my Visa card on Paradise and had no probs setting up. I managed to withdraw $100 (which is more that I deposited originally:cheers ) last Sunday and received the money back into the credit card by Thursday. When withdrawing it does say about the "send by cheque" thing but I think that only applies to Mastercard from what I can see. There is a cash handling charge on my Visa though which is a bit of a pain - does this apply to Switch too Topnotch?
